The staff were amazing and helpful. They gave us suggestions (restaurants, camel rides, prices for items in the souks) and always made sure we were satisfied and enjoying out time. Breakfast of the roof terrace was so nice! They greeted us by name and Manu even took us on an excursion in the Atlas Mountains, which we would recommend to everyone! The Riad was beautiful and clean! 100% would recommend to anyone!!

The riad was near the square. The location was very easy to get around. The reception guy gave us good advices on everything either places to go or not to go.

The room on the ground floor was quite noisy esp. when there was a big family hanging around on the ground floor all day long.

This was an excellent place to stay! The Riad has a very nice atmosphere, great staff and wonderful food (compliments for Zaza!). Absolutely recommended. We made a tour to Imlil and the Atlas with Manu, which was highly enjoyable. Hussein became instant friends with our two-year old daughter!

Perhaps the location, or rather the route to get there, is a bit shabby, but never makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

The Riad is very nicely and traditionally decorated. It is located in the heart of the medina so if you want to be in the centre of everything, its a great location although it takes a while to get your barings. The room we booked was a suite and was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were able to give useful advice as to sites to see and places to eat. Breakfast at the riad was lovely and traditional so well worth it. I would highly recommend eating at the food market one evening as well as sampling some of the morrocan food in the restaurants surrounding the main square. There are some that have roof terraces that overlook the hustle and bustle. Taxis can overcharge tourists. You should never pay more than 20 derum for travelling anywhere within the medina. A taxi to the airport should be no more than 40. The souks are great but make sure you haggle for about 40% of the price. The staff at the riad will give you all this advice if you ask. I would also recommend staying in Marrakech for a max of 3 days and taking the rest of you time to travel to Essouira if you can - it is beautiful and a welcome relief from the hecticness of Marrakech. You can get a bus for 40derums and it takes 3 hours. It is a gorgeous fishing vilage with loads of history and culture. If you like seafood then its a must!

The only thing that may be an issue with this riad is the location if you do not want to be in the heart of the medina as it is pretty hectic.

Staff very nice, cozy rooms. Very typical maroccan style.

The location of the Riad is in a narrow stinky alley, extremely difficult to find, we got lost almost every time, and at night is also not so pleasant too. Inside is very clean and cozy.

I liked everthing. The staff especially Hussein and Manu. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was adequate and our suite was fantastic. Right in the heart of the medina. Would recommend to anyone.

Very authentic feeling riad. Reception/owner was very friendly and took time to explain how to get to the riad and places of interest near the riad. Located right in the medina itself and the main souk lane. Would stay again.

Finding the riad initially. Best to hire one of those push-cart people for 20DH for them to lead you to the riad instead of relying on gps. 20DH to find the riad the first time round is well worth it.

The staff were excellent and met your every need particularly Husain.

Hated having to pass a large rubbish bin in one of the alleys near the riad which was always overflowing, stinking and with at least 4 cats with kittens using it as a home and lavatory.

The location is outstanding-a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the souks and yet an oasis of calm. Manu the owners son was very pleasant and helpful but the gold star for service goes to Hussain who answered all our questions patiently and even helped us carry our cases to and from the Jemma el Fna.

I just came back from Marrakech after 3 night at the riad and I was impressed about the place. The single room situated at 1st floor was clean, hot water all the time. Had heat, which was very good since temperature was under 5 degrees C at night. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. Despite what others said I couldn't hear any praying in the morning so I slept very well. Riad has a terrace with seating, lounges at every floor and a small lounge downstairs for the breakfast, jacuzzi and a small pool. Food was great: orange juice, pancakes, cake, butter and bread with 3 types of gem. Also you can order omelette and other stuff. They also do traditional meals if you request. Complementary tea whenever you want. Location is perfect. 5 minutes to main square. and close to all main attractions. Close to shopping area. Staff was much more than I was expecting. Manu, the owner was nice and helpful, however at the reception is Tantawi which was very nice. he gave me a lot of information, explained me how to reach the main attractions and we ended up planning a trip on Toubkal in spring. When I will be back to Marrakech I will book here for sure.

The weather. It was rainy the day I had my day trip to Imlil so I couldn't see the mountains or hike. Is a joke of course.. bad weather had noting to do with the riad.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Riad in a great location very close to my our favourite spice market. Our rooms were lovely and had our own sitting room and balcony. The staff were delightful, will definitely return. The Lynas family

Great location, close to main place. Airport pickup for a fee, was welcome after a day of travel. Family run. Hamid (the manager) was great, super-hospitable, attentive…unfortunately, he left for another venture while we were there. Big room, lots of character.

Bathroom cleanliness was average--some grime and dirt, and the sink plumbing was awful. You had to turn each nob countless times to get water and regulating temperature was difficult. Room was a bit musty--but many riads felt this way to us; I think it is their design and lack of outside windows?

This was a great hotel in terms of location, comfort, and staff. It was only a few minutes walk to jmaa el fnaa, and we never got lost walking to or from the riad (thanks to Hamid's excellent directions). Despite being so close to the centre, the riad is peaceful and quiet. We ate here a couple of nights, and they were among our favourite meals in Marrakech. The staff are very obliging and helpful, and Hamid went above and beyond in making sure we were well looked after. On one instance he walked us to a restaurant that we couldn't find, and on another instance, he took us to the post office and helped us communicate with the post office staff. We were very happy with our stay, and would highly recommend.

We were disappointed with the recommendations given by staff. They booked us on a desert trip with a company that was beyond terrible. We later looked up the tour company (Sahara Expedition), and they have had consistently bad reviews. Being in the tourism industry, you would think the riad would know how terrible this company was. We were disappointed that we had trusted the riad staff to book us on a tour, and they sent us on something so terrible. They also recommended a food stall in jmaa el fnaa on our first night (very average), and a restaurant on another night (extremely expensive, and ordinary food). Although I would recommend staying at this riad, I would just do my own research and book my own tours next time.

The riad is really charming. The rooms are beautiful. The location is perfect: in the Medina, very close to the Souk (1 min), Jaama El Fna (5 min) and the Spices square (less than 1 minute). You feel very relaxed there. The ambience is quiet and exotic. Room cleaned every day. Hamid is an excellent host. This riad is very recommendable.

The room was a little cold in winter. The faucets and shower head does not work perfectly, but this is part of using an old-classic riad. You cannot judge a Riad with the same parameters as an modern hotel.

We cut our stay short after being threatened with a knife in a nearby street. Riad owner insisted on charging for the full stay, refusing a request to not be charged for the nights we did not stay
