The nice Italian hostess, though clearly overwrought, did her utmost to accommodate us, to tell off the porter who was overcharging us, to organize a driver for our early leave the next morning, and to have fresh coffee and orange juice ready for us at our 4am leaving the next morning. The room was very pretty with an excellent bed. Also a plus for people with small kids (not us): an extra single bed in a small alcove and a criblike bed in the main bedroom. Upon entering this Riad, the first thing that struck us was the dirty small swimming pool in the center of the patio! Even though the riad itself looked very nice, this was really off-putting since it is the first thing you notice upon entering. The bathroom, though beautiful at first sight, had quite a few shortcomings: the tiny mirror was installed way too low, no electrical plugs, the toilet seat didn't fit, and - worst of all - it was impossible to shower (the attachment enabling you to stand under the shower was broken) without flooding the whole bathroom. I also didn't like the cardboard scratchy towels, nor the several up and down steps to reach the bathroom from the bedroom. Also quite a bit of street noise till quite late. |

This Riad was chosen from other guest reviews on your site. Main attractions were friendly and helpful staff, the relative safety of the area and airport transfers arranged. I found all were true. With the help of the exceptionally helpful, bilingual Riad staff I achievd my aim of sampling foreign cultures and different ways of life, plus some unique shopping. I was even lucky enough to see Marrrakech from the back of a scooter. |

We had a superb stay - looked after really well by Georgia. The Riad itself was a true oasis of cool and calm in the crazy, hot, busy city. And it's location was perfect - a five minute walk from the jemma el fna, in a very safe part of the medina. We were able to walk around without concern even at night - unlike other people we met staying in other parts of the city. As it was Ramadan, it was very difficult to get a drink, but even then, Georgia was very accomodating, bringing us ice-cold beers when we 'needed' them most. Nothing - but a word of advice - make use of the airport transfer - you'll never find it otherwise! |

The Riad is tucked away nicely in a corner of the Medina. It is comfortable and good value for money. It is run by a young Italian couple who are very friendly and knowledgable about the city and also multi-lingual. The only downside would be it is a bit tricky to find if you do not know the way there. |

The Riad is run by a lovely and helpful Italian couple who served nice Moroccan tea. The breakfast on the rooftop terrass was delicious. The view from the rooftop was beautiful. The atmosfere "tranquillo" in the Riad with fresh flowers and lots of lit candles in the evenings. An adventure in itself trying to find the Riad with help from local boys... |

We had a great 5 day stay at the Riad Al Warda. It is run by two very helpful, friendly and kind people from Italy who are always very happy to assist you in any way they can. The room was big, light and airy and had a lovely Moroccan decor. We stayed in the red room. |

Great Riad with very nice rooms and excellent service. The Italian/French owners of the Riad, Gioria and Younes are were so helpful with everything and very friendly. We were made to feel very at home. They offer a great breakfast and the atmosphere in the riad was so peaceful and quiet even though the riad is located in the heart of the medina. |
