Location is perfect Reception staff were friendly Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean The terrace is lovely
Bed was very hard and uncomfortable Staff arriving early in the morning were very loud - we were woken up at around 7am every day
The rooms are lovely - all of them are different; the staff were really approachable and helpful; breakfast on the roof terrace was a real treat.
It's clean! The cleanest hotel I stayed during my 12 days Morocco trip... But comparing to The hotels that I stayed at Morocco. Good location. Very close to Medina, port, cafe, etc.
Location is good but if you're alone alone, and going back to hotel after midnight, the street is very dark and creepy. On the check-out day they asked me to pay 4% more for credit card! Than I had to make a long speech to settle the payment. And it wasn't a nice good bye.
Good location. Lovely relaxed and quiet riad with good staff. You had to pay for drinks and water which was a bit annoying and there were no real toiletries but otherwise everything was excellent and the staff were great.
No toiletries and you had to pay for drinks
Location, cleanness and large room
Location Space Terrace had great views Close to lots of restaurants
Wifi not good in rooms Breakfast small quite poor selection
The design and rooms were beautifully presented and very homely. A nice haven from the hustle & bustle of the medina. Serves alcohol on the terrace. Good breakfasts.
Expect to pay someone 20Dh to walk you to the riad - 5 mins max. If you are driving park by the port.
Location Decoration House in general Silence in the room Terrasse
Humidity in the room Friendliness of staff Breakfast a bit poor Cannot pay by card small amounts
Great location and very good roof terrace/bar. Excellent suite with very good bathroom. We were also offered a great breakfast on the roof.
Very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent location close to edge of Medina and a block or so from the Atlantic.
Showing a little wear but overall fair value for money we thought.
Really enjoyed the breakfasts with very friendly staff
Riad Al Zahia is beautifully decorated, bright and airy with a lovely (though rather windy) roof terrace with its own mini cafe bar that serves delicious food. Our room had a four-poster bed and beautiful moroccan tiled floor. It's just minutes from the ramparts, port and shopping making it a perfect location. Essaouira has a lovely relaxed vibe compared to Marrakech and we wished we had longer there. There was no air conditioning but with the seaside breeze it was still lovely and cool in the room.
Best Riad I personally stayed at in Morocco - exceptional manager.
Excellent location. Nice rooms. Fantastic rooftop. Friendly staff.
Our room was a bit dark as we were only on the first floor.
Beautiful Riad with very friendly and helpful staff. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat any meals outside of breakfast here. enjoyed having a drink up on the terrace in the evenings while my daughter had hot chocolate. Fantastic location in the Medina but you might need a bit of help finding it for the first time. We asked a local merchant and he pointed us in the right direction happily.
This is not the fault of the Riad but our stay coincided with a group staying together. They were quite noisy in the evenings and due to the design of Riads the noise travelled everywhere. The staff apologised and explained that they don't normally have groups, just a bit of bad luck for us. If you are staying in a Riad please be considerate of your fellow travellers and keep the noise down especially at night when others are trying to get some rest.
Very friendly staff!
Internet a little slow in the room but to be honest didn't really care, I was on vacation. Just needed to check some bank stuff.
Lovely, charming riad: very helpfull staff, nicely decorated rooms, nice rooftop terrace with beatiful views, where breakfast is served with freshly squeezed OJ. Excellent value for money. Will definitely stay here again!
Good location in the nicer part of Medina, friendly staff (especialy locals who work there) , lovely roof terreace. I would definetly recommend this Riad!
We where there for 3 days and we had same breakfast every day: butter, marmalade & pancake. I know this is tradional but maybe it will good to change menu every 2 days?
Beautiful view from the roof top where the breakfast is served.
One of the nicest places we stayed in Morocco. Beautiful riad with great rooms. We had breakfast on the roof terrace and then came back to watch the sunset. In a quiet side street 50 meters from the busy parts. The showers were great too. The owners really put effort into creating some atmosphere. Would definitely return. tip - try the restaurant next door, good food and not overpriced either
WiFi was a little tricky in the rooms. In the reception it worked fine.
The rooms and public areas were beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and the showers were good. The staff were helpful. We enjoyed the view from the terrace and the chance to get some sun over breakfast.
I miss having tea making facilities in the room and my early cup of tea in bed!
The style and decor was lovely and the amazing views on the terrace made breakfast a highlight.
The beds were a little too warm
Incredible value for money. Amazingly relaxed and low key with a colonial feel, yet wonderfully designed and decorated with art deco prints and Moroccan furniture, This place is clean, light, peaceful and wonderful with a gorgeous balcony on which to read and enjoy views of the medina and the sea.
lovely room, nice bed- bath towels replaced every day and nice breakfast. Had dinner at the hotel but very expensive. Good location and quiet.
