Just arrived home after a fantastic week in Marrakech at the Riad Alboraq and missing afternoon mint tea (or Vin Gris!) on the rooftop terrace already. From the airport transfer to the welcome to double kisses on saying goodbye, Michele, Mohammed and the team could not have done more to look after us or make us feel like old friends. We had the suite on the ground floor by the pool with a huge bed and even bigger bath tub- getting up every day to a breakfast of bread, jam, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Early evenings were spent on the roof terrace with a drink and nibbles watching the sun go down over the Medina. Michele (whose english is superb should your french be rusty) and Mohammed's insider knowledge is invaluable and they can organise anything from a spa treatment in the Hamman to a camel ride and we very much enjoyed these activities as well as a day's walking in the Atlas and a trip to Essouria. All in all, a great location (about 15-20 minutes to the souks and another 10 to the main square depending on how long you spend browsing in the market) and a wonderfully tranquil base to retreat to after the heat and hustle and bustle of the city. Would recommend.

The service by staff members were outstanding, the best I have ever received. They really helped plan our stay and activities throughout the city. It was a very personal type of care.
