As in pictures.
Management is not involved at all. You will only see Yousef (the manager) when you're about to pay for your stay and do not expect any flexibility. Some might find the location (dark allies into the old medina) interesting, however, there are plently of riads/hotels within the vicinity yet at a lower price/value for money. We had an emergency back home and we had to check out after 3 days, however, the manager insisted that we pay for the full stay booked thru booking.com of 7 days which is not in line with cancellation policy not to mention being considerate of our situation. Published reviews score is MISLEADING.
Riad Alkaderi is a beautiful house right in the middle of the Medina. The man at the reception and the ladies that take care of you during the stay are very very friendly. Breakfast is very good and you can actually have it whenever you want. ACCEPT the mint tea when they offer it. This is like a friendship sign.
WIFI was not so good.
Everything! The staff were lovely, I will learn french for my next visit though! The riad is beautiful and the location fantastic x
Nothing, though a mini fridge somewhere in the property would be nice to store drinks x
We stayed for two days and were very disappointed. We would not return and would not recommend it. The location is good and the rooms were OK although a little tired & lighting was poor as some light bulbs were not working. The lady who served breakfast was excellent and friendly but we found the male manager very unhelpful.
The common areas lacked character and it was impossible to even obtain a mint tea in the evenings. I found it claustrophobic as the only outdoor terrace had high walls and no view. Parking was more than 15 minutes walk away which is a long way to walk with your suitcases. The credit card machine was not working and we were told in an off hand way to pay cash at 9pm the night before we left. Luckily we had enough cash but we do not usually travel with a lot of cash.
lovely and caring staff small property
no windows only internal courtyard cant close rooms location very centrical however its not that convenient having to always go through the soukhs to get back to the Hotel late night for example
we stayed at Riad Alkaderi for 7 nights and I can say now that it was one of the best experiences we had in tourism. The Riad is very well located, only 2/3 minute walk to the Jemaa el Fna square, and in the midst of the crazy world of the souks. The "derb abdelkader" street gives access to all places to visit in historical Marrakech (Marrakech Museum, Medersa Ben Youssef, etc. ..) The Riad is absolutely beautiful, in excellent condition and very well decorated. Its beautiful terraces not only provide relaxing moments but also stunning views of the sunset over the city. Every rooms have view to interior patio, so they're all very silent and peacefull. We've stayed in the room "Twin 2" and was a very nice choice - quality/price. The bathroom and bedroom have an amazing Moroccan decor, exactly like the fotos in Riad Alkaderi website and "booking.com". With wifi, air conditioning, and very well decorated. Very pleasant stay, and very happy with the choice. But still the best of this riad is the staff! We were greeted on arrival by Youssef and in the next morning by Raja. Then we met Mustafa. They are all very friendly and very welcoming. But the person who scored not only our stay but also our heart was Katy, who has an extreme inner beauty and tireless to do everything for us to feel good. We have gained a friend! In summary: Superb! We recommend you to stay at this place!...
