This riad is situated in the heart of Marrakesh’s Medina (historic quarter). Set around a central patio, sheltered by trees and with a central fountain. It offers 4 individually-decorated rooms.

We absolutely loved everything about this place, after a chaotic day around marrakech, going back to this riad was simply perfect. It always fealt like home and the staff was amazing. If I ever go back I will definitely go back to this riad.
Friendly staff, great location, super breakfast, relaxing facilities
Briefly everything was perfect..Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was on the ground floor with direct access to patio. It was spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness was 10 out of 10. Special thanks to Driss and Amen. Breakfast is basic but delicious. Without any hesitation I can recommend this Riad to everyone, especially for family travelers.
Nothing..Simply choose this Riad when you travel to Marrakesh.
Staying at the Riad Alwachma was like staying with family. As the property is small (approx 8 guest rooms), the staff are able to provide a level of service that you would not receive in large hotels, in terms of warmth and friendliness. The food was great and the decor beautiful. The location is good and within easy reach of the main attractions in and around the Medina and the New Town.
The WiFi signal in the room was weak but much better on the ground floor areas. Maybe they should invest in a simple WiFi extender to provide a stronger signal throughout the building.
All in all could not fault anything, will come back again for some winter sun.
We had a great experience at this beautiful Riad! The staff was extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We loved this place!
It was perfect, Very friendly, helpful staff. We love to go back!!
Great service, nice and comfortable rooms and lounge. Very quite and peaceful, beautiful sounds of birds, and water fountin. Amin was of great service, always with a smile. Walking distance from Jamea AlFanaa popular area and there were many nearby spas and massage places.
The breakfast started quite late at 8:00 AM and was very limited to; one piece of croossaint, one piece of crep, yogurt with bread, orange juice and tea.
Very friendly staff who were so helpful and welcoming. The food was really good and we loved the breakfasts. It was a very peaceful, clean hotel. And a nice relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would definitely stay again. Driss and Amine couldn't have been nicer.
Can't fault it.
It's close to Bab Doukkala which the airport shuttle (No.19) stops, there was no hassles to negotiate with taxi drivers. Also the way to get to Jamma El Fna from this riad was easy, closest supermarket (Carrefour) was 10 min walk, really good location. Staff there were friendly and helpful.
Conveniently located, just follow Fatma Zoha and you will be at Kotoubia mosque in 10 mins. I like the traditional feel of the riad, but try to get a room on the second floor for more privacy if you don't mind the stairs. The terrace is nice for breakfast.
Room is on the small size. First floor location could get a little bit noisy when other guests are present. Breakfast is very basic and could be better.
Staff were brilliant - so attentive and great service. Food was brilliant. Room was very comfortable
The riad is so lovely, comfortable and homely.Staff are exceptional in their genuine willingness to please.Dinner has to be pre booked but the food was delicious and after a day spent pounding the streets souls and alleyways of Marrakech it's lovely not to leave the tranquillity of the riad. The rooms are lovely there is always plenty of hot water and the showers powerful. The in-house hamman is good value, with the added bonus of being able to retreat to your room after.I Enjoyed my stay immensely and would return.
The Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The delicious Breakfast was served on the roof terrace each day. Room was very comfortable and cleaned every day to a high standard. I would definitely recommend this Riad which is in a central location.
* Staff was great * Architecture and decoration of the hotel is beautiful * Breakfast is rich and delicious
This was a really good Riad to stay in. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We were given a map of Marrekech and any place we wanted to visit they gave us good instructions on how to walk there. Two places we particularly enjoyed visiting were the Jardin Majorelle and Maison de la Photographie. The Riad is close to the Medina and Souks. We enjoyed the meals and excellent service particularly by Amine. I booked a relaxing Moroccan massage while staying at the Riad. which was most relaxing. i would recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Marrakech.
The only downside is being woken regularly in the early hours by the call to prayer, but this happens all over Marrakech.
Beautiful room, decorated well and very spacious (we stayed in the Ghislane room). Enjoyed seeing the sun set from the roof top terrace. Stayed for 2 nights and ate both evenings at the riad and had delicious food. Had a couple of the spa treatments which were excellent also. The staff were great, Driss and Amin were so helpful and even had hot coffee for us morning of departure despite our early flight and leaving at 5:15am. Highly recommend this Riad to others.
This was the 2nd time we stayed at the Riad. This is a sanctuary in the middle of a busy, beautiful, chaotic , truly wonderful Marrakesh. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and the staff cannot do enough for you. Customer service is second to none and we could not recommend this Riad highly enough. Do no be put off by the outside appearance, because the moment you walk through the door it is a haven.
Not having tea/coffee making faculties in room,
Very friendly and helpful owner, beautiful riad, reasonably priced.
Beautiful riad, well presented, in striking distance of the main square, souks and good restaurants. Very warm welcome from Driss (?) who speaks excellent English and went out of his way for us to organise our trip to Imlil (calling several hotels for us and organising a private transfer through the Imlil hotel. Room was spacious (if a little dim, but this is often the case in riads), simply appointed but fine. Breakfast served on rooftop terrace – good variety with breakfasts. Reasonably priced. My wife had a pedicure which (she informs me!) was reasonably priced and good.
An issue for nearly every riad is that sound in the riad courtyard easily travels into the rooms (this is less of an issue as breakfast is served on the terrace upstairs). Wifi only really worked in courtyard (minor issue). One of the staff members was not as helpful with questions or with breakfast service as Driss (another only minor issue)
The staff - especially Amine, who was a star - were helpful, attentive and always had a smile.
Nothing really that I can think of.
best riad we have been in morocco
My daughter and I spent 5 nights at this lovely Riad where the staff did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. The room was lovely, the central courtyard magical, the roof terrace an oasis, the dinners delicious.
We didn't like having to leave.
Perfect location to explore the Medina. Super attentive staff with a lovely relaxed but professional manner. Beautiful decor and airy room.
The quiet , gentle spirit of the staff , always willing to help to make our stay so pleasant and comfortable , even to the point of refusing to accept a tip when we offered ! This is genuine service and hospitality !
Some fruit served with breakfast would be nice !
