This is a traditional riad converted into a guest house and it gave an authentic experience of staying in Marrakech. The staff was very welcoming and helpful offering us tea and cookies on arrival and a nice breakfast (included in price)

The bathroom didnt have a door, it only has a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom.

Everything was excellent. The most pleasant were the staff and another thing that made my jorney comfortable was the riad location: you always find it - that is very important when you are staying in Medina.

Clean and nice place, not so far from Dzhema-al-Fna.

The staff can only tell you "without any problems". But in fact internet doesn't work well. "Of course, it's Morocco" they said us about it. Also they don't accept credit cards. When we tried to pay by card they up charged us 5% more but it didn't help - machine didn't work. "We didn't use it for 3-5 month" they said. To be sure that the problem is not with our card we checked owner's card and result was the same. But when I asked why they put wrong information that Riad accepts credit cards - they contacted the owner and she said that machine is working and there is only one problem - with our card (no limit etc)...It was so unpleasant!!! We didn't have enough cash because we believed that doesn't lie. So I paid very big comission for getting money from ATM and it was poor finish of our trip.

The Riad was a wonderful haven from the frenetic alleys of the Marrakech medina. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the main Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Upon our arrival, we were offered mint tea and Moroccan sweets. The rooms are simple, clean, and quiet. The courtyard, where breakfast was served each morning, was beautifully designed with authentic Moroccan motifs. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. As the other reviewers mentioned, the Owner speaks only French. She was delightful to converse with (assuming you know French), and was instrumental in helping us find transportation to Tangiers. Overall, I would highly recommend this Riad.

As recommended by others, ask the Riad to provide transportation from the airport (approximately 10 Euros). This is worth the money, as the Riad is very difficult to find in the maze of the old Medina.
