Riad Amazigh

Antigua casa con mucho encanto y un trato agradable del personal. Las habitaciones estaban bien a excepción de la ubicada en la azotea, no está en condiciones optimas para su venta. El desayuno muy bueno y abundante.

La ubicación, en plena medina, lo hace muy adecuado para pasear por los zocos y visitar todos los monumentos de la ciudad. Me gustaría destacar los copiosos y deliciosos desayunos recién hechos que tomamos en su azotea así cómo el trato por parte de las empleadas y la dueña, que ha sido exquisito; un trato familiar, y de calidad, siempre que han podido nos han ayudado, guiado o sugerido excursiones y lugares que visitar. El propio riad es un edificio de varios siglos que conserva los suelos, carpintería y artesonados originales, lo que lo hace muy interesante a la hora de cononcer la arquitectura típica marroquí. La limpieza y servicios de las habitaciones es muy buena. Hemos pasado momentos muy especiales desayunando en su azotea o tomando un té a la menta en su patio. El Riad Amazigh ha cumplido con creces todas nuestras expectativas, muy recomendable.

Amabilidad del personal que lo atendía, desde el primer minuto te hacen sentir como en casa y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. Nos dieron una habitación superior a la contratada por el mismo precio. Mantiene el estilo puro de un riad y aunque deberían hacer acometer alguna tarea pequeña de bricolaje y/o mantenimiento (por ejemplo la ducha no "colgaba" bien), se está muy agusto. El desayuno, típico marroquí, muy completo.

Debido a lo laberíntico de la medina y los escasos planos del detalle de la misma, no es fácil encontrar el riad por primera vez, pero es un punto con poca importancia, ya que luego está muy bien situado para moverse por todos los sitios importantes (a un paso de la plaza, etc) y ves que es fácil llegar.

El personal del hotel muy agradable y las zonas comunes muy bien pero la habitación bastante pobre.Buena localización para conocer la medina.Buen desayuno incluido en el precio.

Fatima and her staff were very welcoming. She showed us how to reach the main square and provided us with the history of the Riad and the area. Really enjoyed the entire stay.

Great staff -- Fatima was extremely helpful and welcoming. Good location -- close enough to the souks, but not too close to be overly busy and noisy. The terrace room offers wonderful views and provides a nice, quiet escape.

The owner, Fatima was more than helpful. We arrived very late and she waited up for us to arrive which was very kind. Staff happy and friendly, overall very nice two days.

The personal attention.

The owner, Fatima was great host. Gave us a lot of useful information, showed us things around, offered tea every time we would meet in the Riad and escorted us to the taxi when we were leaving. The breakfast was excellent, served in the lovely roof top terrace. It is the best place to stay in Meknes!

The staff were very friendly and hospitable.

Really good hotel: breakfast consisted of several breads, excellent tea and jus. The location is in the medina on walking distance of the main sights. The hotel staff are really friendly and gave us a very handy map of the medina. Meknes is a very friendly town in Morocco: we only stayed one night, but would recommend staying longer.

Na - really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful building. Really amazing place. Finishes and furniture in style. Big rooms, big bathrooms, working ok. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfasts like for 5 stars guests. Location in the heart of medina, difficult to find first time, but we have been lead there for free by locals. Then we have been trained by Fatima and have no problems with finding way. Owner communicates in french and english perfectly, staff at acceptable level. Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idris very interesting.

Muezzin was waking us up before down, but we expected that and wanted that.

FATIMA!!! The owner. And the rest of the staff. They were helpful, friendly, warm and welcoming. Fatima is a caring, gentle and giving person. The people in the Medina were also amazing helping us find our way back to the Riad time after time. One afternoon, having already asked our way tens of times over the 3 days we stayed there, one of the shop owners saw us once again looking around confused and before we even asked sent his son to show us the way. And if Fatima is reading this we wish her and Pierre, her partner, much, much happiness together. Two wonderful people.

Fatima is nice and hospitable, the whole design is amazing. will definitely recommend friends staying there.

Located close to the Bab Mansour, this riad is maybe the best location to discover Méknes. The owner is very nice and helpful and speaks several languages. A great breakfast is served on the roof terrace, which is also great to hand out during the day. If you can’t find the riad, get a local “guide” for a couple of dirhams. If you arrive at the main train station, get a cab for around 15 dirhams.

The lady, Fatima, who owns the riad is the most wonderful and friendly person making you feel home immediately in her trendy yet warm place. It is a very well priced riad with the best breakfast in Marocco. The rest of the staff are also extremely kind, and they are always there when you need something. Everything is clean and beautiful here!

Loved everything about the place. No A/C in the room but it wasn't hot and fans did the job well.

The location is very good. That's all positive about this Riad.

Actually l did not like this Riad at all. It was the poorest (and of course the cheapest) we stayed in for our 12 days trip in Morocco - all imperial cities. The hotel needs full renovation, a bit more attention to the style of the interior design and definitely a good and dedicated cleaning lady. We waited for our breakfast to be served over than 45 minutes...and the food itself was poor as quantity and quality. I am sorry for saying all this, because I really liked the owner - Mrs. Fatima - a very nice and helpful lady, but however these are our impressions.
