Score from 177 reviews Excellent
Excellent location: 10 minutes away on foot from Djeemaa El Fna square. Very nice bathroom in the Superior Room. The riad is nice, with a terrace and a small ornamental pool. The owner is French, and she is was very kind and helpful. Riad Amin is a very relaxing place after a whole day visiting Marrakesh!
Standard rooms are really small. Superior rooms are larger and much better. Breakfast is basic and it does not offer a lot of options. Wi-fi network is poor. Some other small details were overlooked (e.g. torn bed sheets and towels). Although minor, all these matters could be improved!
Water leaking in our bedroom ! Instead our nice bedroom, we were given a tiny and noisy room. The hammam was out of order.
The clean and spacy rooms the local and helpfullm stuff
friendliness of staff beautiful Riad with 2 swimmingpools Nice typical furniture good breakfast location
Wifi with very poor reception should be changed fast
Loved everything - staff, morning on the roof terrace, design of the place - definitely staying there next time in Marrakesh
Wifi not reaching room situated on the roof
A fantastic team: the very helpful Laurance, the cheerful Muad, the professional Stephanie and the beautiful Mahadia who cooked the best food for us...! The location: very central. The accommodation: quite, beautiful, clean, cosy, we had room Aia (3 persons) The food: fantastic Marocan breakfast served on the roof or inside. If you have the chance to eat the food Mahadia prepares, take it!!! Best dinner ever! Price: good quality!
If I have to say something negative (which is very difficult) I would just suggest to bring ear dops (because the moskee is in front of the Riad, and the chant is also at night).
Very comfortable and peaceful accommodation, fabulous atmosphere, great facilities.
Fantastic breakfast on the roof. It's value for money if you disregard the attempts to over charge for add-ons
Waited half an hour for cup of tea as person responsible was chatting on mobile phone from beside the pool !! They refused a refund when we had to return early due to illness but seemed to have re let the room. Charged double the taxi fare for airport collection. Tried to charge over 3600 dnh (£300) for 3 unimpressive dinners eventually settled for €45.
The ambience and very stylish. Helpful and friendly staff. Contact before to helpfully arrange pickup from the airport. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Nothing to dislike
Loved the whole Marrakech experience. . This Riad is excellent, staff, service, location, price. What else would you want.
Great continental breakfast on roof terrace. Location
Charge double std rate for airport transfers. Determine to charge 3360 dnr - £250 for 3 uninspired dinners eventualy settled for 15 euro. Took 1/2 hr to get a tea as tea maker on phone by pool. Light leval in room so low couldn't read - told "you have enough light". A group member developed medical problem needed to return fo UK for hospital treatment. Hotel refused refund but may have relet room. Did offer 2014 credit note not much good if you can't travel. Told them this no reponce.
Hotel staff / authentic Riad
Not much, very enjoyable experiance!
The staff was super friendly. Muah, the manager, (sorry for spelling) was incredible! It was beautiful inside and relaxing. The room was lovely and we felt very comfortable.
Great location, only a short walk to the souks and the main square and only a short taxi ride to most places. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Liked the fact that the cab booked from the airport to the riad was there and waiting when we arrived. Overall it was a great stay, I would definitely go back!
The cab from the airport was more expensive than what we would have paid if we'd just got one at the airport ourselves but I guess you pay for convenience. Not necessarily a bad thing but you need to do a lot of haggling to ensure you're not ripped off, at first I didn't like it because you didn't really know how much things were supposed to be but it became fun after a while to see how low we could go.
General calm and cool ambience Very helpful staff Delightful room interior All facilities functioned well Delightful rooftop patio for breakfast and general relaxation
Some difficulty finding the place
This was really the best place to go home to after a hot day in Marrakesh. We loved it here. The staff was incredible friendly, making sure all their guests felt at home. Every day they asked us if we were staying for dinner and the breakfast also very nice. We would recommend this place to everyone!
We picked this Riad, as it was in the Medina. The manager and staff were excellent and helpful. The décor was beautiful and the plunge pools very relaxing when done sightseeing. There were so many places to unwind and relax. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace started our day off and was very good. This was the nicest Riad we stayed in during our visit to Morocco. We would recommend to everyone.
Nice rooftop and decent breakfast. Nice lounging area (although saw better at a cheaper Riad - Riad Dar BineBine! - would recommend!). Easy to find.
We paid for a 'superior double' which worked out as 60 Euros with the tax they add on - the room was tiny, had no windows and just a curtain between the bed and the toilet (which were very close together). There were a few sachets of Head and Shoulders (where other, cheaper Riads we stayed at provided beatiful Morrocan glass bottles of shampoo and shower gel). The towels looked dirty and old too. The 'balcony' that comes with the room was a bit odd - with burning hot uncomfy chairs and definitely not private. Staff were very rude (French woman with brown hair particularly) - she shortchanged us and didn't seem to like it when we politely pointed it out and then snapped at me when I said that I had a fragile bag I was leaving as left luggage. All in all - this place is NOT value for money and there are other Riad's that are more friendly, personal and gorgeous. Try Dar BineBine!
room,service,staff,breakfast, atmosphere. simply everything .
Friendly helpfull staff. Good breakfast on the roof. Large air conditioned rooms. For the price it was good value. We where we'll looked after.
An amazing time spent in Marrekch. Stephanie, Moad and Lawren were amazing help in getting around. And finding everything. Meals were authentic and delicious. Will return and recommend to all.
Just facilities in the hotel
When you want to stay Riad alone in Marrakech, don't go to here. I'm sure that will not the service what you want get paying 40 euros. The room was so small and bit unhygienic ,especially bathroom, I saw a cockroach died on the floor in the morning(but it was still alive..) I felt unsatisfied and really disappointed for the service of this riad
Everything. The staff are incredibly nice, the place and location is perfect. The decoration is beautiful. The room perfect and very very clean. The breakfast really good. It has an amazing terrace with awesome views. It is a very quiet Riad, like an oasis in Marraquesh. This place made our trip, really, We didn't want to leave and we miss everything. It is the perfect place!
Great hospitality, hostess Lorence gave us nice tips about the city and made us feel at home. The hotel was a litlle paradise in the middle of marrakesh. When we come back to the city we will definitely come back to Riad Amin!
If I liked to stay and enjoyed the staying, yes I did; If I would repeat the experience, yes I will; if I recommend it to a friend? Yes I do! And is it among the best hotels in town? Of course it is not. Not the luxury of Mamunia, not the gentle banality of a Meridian, not as practice as the majority, but not also more of the same. This one is unique. It is a place that situates you closer to the people. A place designed to enjoy and meet people, as the public areas are agreeable and appellative. Unique was also the nice guidance of Laurence, “la fille” in charge that was always busy to make you happy, always looking for networking (you should know that one, and that one), and that also provided a very nice stay with a very interesting conversation and nice advices. Oh and there is no television in the room. God bless Riad Amin! José
