The Riad is run extremely well by Reibal and his staff. They cannot do enough for you. They organised taxis, guides with no fuss whatsoever. The Riad itself is a beautiful building and the rooms are large and well equipped. We also ate in the restaurant at the Riad where the food was very good. They have a beautiful terrace where you can have drinks and eat. I would not hesitate to recommend this Riad.

Gorgeous Riad in a great location in Fes, the owner could not have been more helpful. Bathroom is large, felt like a 5 star hotel. We ate at the restaurant the first night, it was excellent!

Great location next to one of the main gates into the Medina. Room was great, breakfast brilliant. Riad renovation has been impressive. This is a well managed facility and it shows with the staff being attentive and extremely pleasant to our needs on all occasions. Check out the restaurant on the roof terrace which give great views over the Medina. I got some great photo shots. Best advice I can give here is please listen to advice given by Reibal (owner)on how to negotiate the Medina hassle free. I personally was very apprehensive in tackling the Medina and its hordes, but it turned out to be a breeze, thanks to Reibal.

Staff friendliness and professional, riad location, decoration, food and also suggested driver (Mohammed) exceeded our expectations. Riebal, the manager, is always there making sure you have all support you might need and the best suggestions to move around.

The owner Reibal, initiated and stayed in communication with me via email vs other Riad (Marrakesh that never confirmed arrivals, etc.) He spent 30 minutes upon our arrival explaining how we could get the most of our short time in Fez, which really helped us do just that! He arranged for a private tour guide/driver who again, helped us utilized our day wisely. His staff was so accommodating they came in early to prepare a wonderful breakfast to facilitate our early departure. I can't say enough about the 5 five star service we received!!!!

    Absolutely nothing!!

My Wife and I stayed for 4 Nights in Mid-May. The owner Reibal Idrissi is a splendid host and he has a team of keen young staff who proved to be delightful people. Their attentive service was quite exceptional. Reibal's briefing and the advice provided on on our arrival proved invaluable during our short visit to Fes. The Breakfast provided gave us an excellent choice and the Dinner served on the lovely roof terrace was of a very high standard. The Tagines and Pastilla dishes were of the highest quality! One can often be cynical when reading Reviews of Hotels but I can assure anyone reading reviews of this Riad that they should take notice. Anyone deciding to visit Fes for the first time should look no further. The Riad Andalib provides (1) Excellent Accomodation (2) Superb location ideal for the Medina (3) High Standard of Moroccan Cuisine and (4) Attentive and Courteous Service at all times.

    Cannot think of anything!

Thanks to Reibal, the owner's detailed guidance, I could wander around Fez madina by myself and didn't get lost. Staffs are all young and friendly, and the patio was splendid.

Based on many positive reviews, we had high expectations of Riad Andalib. After our three nights stay, we can confirm they are all deserved. On our arrival we were welcomed by Reibal, the owner who provided us with many usuful tips and was always helpful. Staff is very professional. Riad is perfecly located in the old medina. Rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, Wi-Fi works excellent. Breakfast as well as dinner we had were delicious. Highly recommended.

From the moment we walked in the beautiful big doors we felt at home. Very spacious, airy, cheerful, and decorated with the old world charm of Fez but with very modern features in the bathrooms. The hotel is on the only one street in the Medinah that allows motor vehicles. We never had any problems with cabbies. All we had to do was ask them to take us to Cinema Amal which is right next door. The hotel is very clean and the food is incredibly good. The couscous is the best I've had in all of Morocco. The staff is very courteous and always looking for ways to make you more comfortable and happy. A really very pleasant experience. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. This will be our home away from home. Reibal, the owner, spent a lot of time with each guest making sure they were comfortable not just in his hotel but in Morocco. He showed us how to get around the Medinah without a guide. And since the hotel is already inside the Medinah we had many adventures on our own and always made it back with the help of his directions. This place is a gem and I am so grateful we found it.

We (two couples) stayed at Riad Andalib for three nights in May. Everything about our experience there was memorable starting with the early contact from Reibal to confirm our reservation and offer to have a driver meet us at the train station. Our initial good impressions continued unabated throughout our stay. Reibal is the consummate and concerned host. He really looked after us and out for us ensuring that we had a memorable and hassle-free (as much as possible in Morocco) experience in Fes. All his advice was spot-on. He also arranged an excellent day tour with driver/guide to see the major sights outside the city walls, which we recommend. Breakfasts at Riad Andalib are delicious and generous especially considering that they are included with the room fee. Dinners are likewise delicious and generous and reasonably priced for their quality and quantity. The salads and traditional meat tagines are particularly tasty. There is also a very decent selection of wines and other drinks and the central courtyard/dining area makes a lovely place to enjoy them. The service at mealtimes was attentive and friendly. You get the impression that the staff genuinely likes working at Riad Andalib. All in all, ours was a first-class experience and we would not hesitate to stay there again should we return to Fes in the future. Nor would we hesitate to recommend Riad Andalib wholeheartedly.

The unseasonably hot weather … although this was hardly Riad Andalib's fault! However, if anyone could do something about the weather Reibal would be the man. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this wonderful riad.

We stayed at Riad Andalib for 4 nights in April and the service was excellent throughout. Reibal confirmed our reservation within 1 day of booking arranged for transfer from train station and gave us a good introductory briefing of the sights of Fes, medina and souks. We organised a tour to Volubulis through the Riad, and very happy with our knowledgeable and experienced English speaking guide and driver. We also had dinner at Riad Andalib, sampling their traditional dishes. The blend of spices with the lamb tagine with prunes was the best during our stay in Morocco and the pastilla was very enjoyable and full of flavour. Breakfast is served at a time that suits your plans and includes fresh orange juice, fresh fruit salad, moroccan pancakes and eggs cooked to order. The riad has fewer than 9 rooms, and is very well maintained and clean throughout. The riad while very close to the medina, is also easily accessible by taxi, so it's easy to return at night after dinner. This was a huge relief, after our experience of getting lost at night in Marrakesh. So, thanks to this useful advice from another reviewer of this riad.

    Nothing.

Reibal immediately made us welcome and with a map outlined a walking tour that made it possible to see the most important sites in the medina in half a day and avoid guides that take advantage of unwary tourists. The riad is exquisite, favorably located for easy access to the medina. The room was large with luxurious bathroom and shower. The terrace was perfect for enjoying the view with an apperitif. Being a wine lover I was very pleased with the quality of the local reds in particular. We elected to have dinner in the riad both nights as the food was first rate and the ambience like dining in the finest restaurant - very romantic. Without question this is the place to be in Fes.

    1. Special thanks go the owner, Mr. Reibal Idrissi. His personal touch and care transform the experience not only on the grounds of Riad, but in Fez in general. Excellent advise about the city, cultural and historic insights and genuine interest in his guests. Rarely you see such an engaging host! 2. Riad's location. We arrived with the car and considering that Medina is a very difficult place to navigate with a vehicle, we found Riad's location very convenient as a guarded parking is a several minute walk away. Most importantly, Riad is in Medina - perfect location to explore all of the major sights and corners of this unique place. 3. Riad's team - very discreet, friendly and professional. 4. Riad per se. Spacious rooms, beautiful patio. The terrace is however my favourite. 5. Food - we had most of our dinners here. Excellent local cousine in a beautiful setting. Very cool place!

We had great meals with some specialty dishes recommended by owner that were fantastic. Great rooms, great bathroom facilitites. The location is perfect for getting around. Staff is learning as they go and are very attentive. Highly recommend. The owner plays a personal role in every aspect and is always there to discuss the day and make suggestions.

The main dining area, while absolutely stunning, is a bit on the warm side. TV is a bit tricky to operate.

Excellent location (closest to the medina you can get by car), Owner is very service minded, so service is on a very high level.

Accommodation and food both a bit higher than in the rest of Fes, however you get quality in return.

An incredibly helpful and friendly owner and staff. Excellent breakfast. Lamb tagine and seafood pastilla were best meals we have had in two weeks in Morocco. Other dinners were good, but not outstanding. A beautiful riad.

The pool is far too small for swimming.

Great location, amazing building, really friendly staff, and the host/owner explained everything you need to know. We had a dinner at the Riad, the meal was delicious. The breakfast was excellent too. A little bit expensive, but good value for your money. For anyone prefer boutique hotels to the big chain, it's definitely the best choice in Fes!

    nothing to complain.

My overall experience was excellent, and I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends/colleagues. The check-in process was timely, friendly (tea + food) and efficient. My room was very clean and very comfortable. Excellent bed and bedding. The guest staff was prompt, reliable, and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable and fully answered any of my questions. Housekeeping staff was friendly and reliable. Management was very friendly and available to solve problems. The food quality was really good.

Nothing really... Maybe the front of the hotel which is quite ugly? (but the inside is wonderful!)
