We got an email on the day of our booking which had been sent the night before to say that they had overbooked and would put us somewhere else. We were already in Marrakech so went to see them. They showed us a room which they admitted would be too small but it was disgusting anyway. Not sure why they showed us it other than to make it more difficult for us to cancel. We went to see the alternative riad which we did stay in as it was only for two nights but we would not recommend it. Not a good way to run a business.
nicest staff, beautiful terrace
very small room
Very nice riad well situated in the heart of Medina. just 5 minutes from the square. The room was big and everything functioned well. The food they make was delicious and was high quality. The staff was extremely friendly and service minded.
There was absolutely nothing to not adore about this amazing gem of a riad! Our room, a suite, was out of this world, the décor the most luxuriousness we have ever stayed in, and the cleanliness second to none. The entire staff were incredibly attentive, nothing was too much trouble, and yet not obtrusive. Breakfast was a feast and filled you for the day.Try the hammam massage they offer it's really relaxing and the prices are just normal. All in all, the most amazing stay and we we would recommend to all our friends.
I loved absolutely everything about this place. We are a very discerning mature couple that travel a lot. And I must admit, this is one of the best places I have stayed at. Ever. Marrakesh can be a daunting place. Every time we stepped out, we were met with aggressive and rude hawkers and people from the itself. Riad Atlas was like an oasis/refuge from all that. The staff was extremely attentive. The dinner they served was quite nice. Unlimited pop and water. The pool was refreshing. The rooms were clean and impeccable. I can never say enough good things about this place. They are really welcoming and very personable. This may sound like an advert but I am in no way related to these guys. I just like to let others know about the good service when I reeve it.
First and foremost, the staff were amazing. From the moment I arrived I felt very comfortable around them. The rooms aren't overly amazing but for me they were spot on, exactly what I was looking for. And for the price I could never complain. I had an amazing time in marrakech and recommend anyone to go
They picked us up at the main square when we arrived.
We were expected much more based on reviews, but there is plenty of space for improvement. What we really didn't like is that there was no one at the reception when leaving in the morning or coming back in the evening.... So even if we wanted a bit earlier breakfast there was no one whom we could ask, therefore we didn't even tried it. Btw the breakfast starts at 9h, which is too late if you wanna go for excursions or organised tours. The locker in the room also didn't work... What annoyed us a lot us that we couldn't even count on the owner to organise someone to drop us on the train station early in the morning, but proposed his friend with the taxi for a crazy touristic price. There is lot of space for improvement of the service, which you will notice is a bit of if an issue all over this country...
Really fantastic stay at the Riad Atlas. Minutes away from the main square and yet quiet and secluded with beautiful moroccan decor. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was a great start to the day (especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.) The rooms were very comfortable. A little haven.
Can't fault it.
It was a very good location 5 mins from the square. Small hotel friendly staff with a welcoming environment. Clean well kept and maintained .
Great location and very competent and helpful staff.
Excellent free wifi, spacious cool and quiet rooms, substantial breakfast. Helpful staff who give you lots of info on arrival, and lent us an umbrella when it rained unexpectedly!! Ask the Riad for a taxi from the airport, as then they will come out and escort you through the busy square to the Riad which would be tricky to find without first being shown.
Mattresses weren't to my liking, but that is a personal preference - I still slept fine!
The Riad is close to the square which makes it a good place to explore Marrakesh from. We were very well looked after including kindly preparing a fish dinner for my partner despite it not being on the menu. We would definitely come back again and stay at the Riad Atlas based on our first experience it was that good. You can sometimes hear the square from the Riad but then the square can get very very loud, but it was only occasionally.
The free Wi-Fi didn't extend as far as our room unfortunately.
Simply the best hotel in Marrakech . Staff are amazing and helpful I was really pleased by there service :)
Welcome every time. That was the nice thing i did always heard from the staff. when we`ll come back we`ll stay there definitely again! keep up the good work! the place is great!
I recommend this riad to the people who want to go to Marrakech for work. It's relaxing and quite riad. Before i went to Marrakech, i was between 2 riads so i chose Atlas, and i was right. It was the best choosing for my work time in Marrakech.
Beautifull riad with Moroccan design. The rooms were large and decorated. The breakfast was good enough. Staff were nice and helpfull. Really i had great time there. Thank you riad Atlas.
The location is great ,close to the main square and the palaces. We had very nice stay we didn't have it before.
The riad was pretty comfortable and very clean. the stuff were helpfull and nice with us. They did organize a Sahara tour for us, without forget the amazing Tajine for dinner. We come back soon....
Many many thanks to Lotfy, Emad and the other guy who was running the Riad. And to Amina and Amina in the kitchen. You all made our stay to a wonderful memory. All the best to you.Its very close to Djeema el Fna which is perfect. Breakfast at the Riad was maroccan and a good start preparing us for a long day shopping in the souks!!
The position of this riad is just about perfect: only 5 minutes from the Jemma el Fna square and lots of good restaurants. The staff are as friendly and helpful as you could wish for. Good breakfasts too. We've stayed here twice before and now wouldn't stay anywhere else in Marrakech. I can't wait for our next visit!
There was a mix up with being collected from the Airport. Make sure you have their tel. number so they can sort this out if it happens to you.
The young guys running the riad are really nice and helpful. Great place to stay!
Breakfast was ok but not the best.
Wi-fi and good advice was on hand whenever I needed it. Because of the location I spent minimal on taxis. I'm very glad I stayed in this riad. I will stay there again.
The Riad is so peaceful, tastefully decorated and although it was fully booked the staff were so attentive to all my needs. They never seemed overwhelmed or busy but always happy to talk to us and offer above and beyond. Location is perfect and beats all the other Riads I have visited prior to this one, 2 minutes walking distance to the square, Souk, Cafés, Palace Bahia and the taxi depot at the end of the long lane. I felt safe at all times, the road leading to the Riad from the square is quiet, peaceful and safe. If you don't eat in the Riad, shame on you ;) but do try the Café nearby. &Quot;Planet Café" I think its called! They have best Vegan food you will ever taste. The one in Essaouira is even better. Yummmm I will definitely be back to Riad Atlas with my family and friends very soon ;)) Shukran to all the guys at the riad for making our stay so calm and peaceful.
I didn't like the massive Queue at the airport's passport control, what's that about????? But that has nothing to do with this.. And I quickly forgot about it once I was in Riad Atlas. Peace
Amazing hostel in the heart of the medina. So close to the main square but so quiet at night still. Very accommodating staff who are always happy to help! Very clean environment and generally made us feel very relaxed and welcome. Very highly recommended
It was very close to main square at the heart of Medina. Place itself very quiet with traditional decorations of the room. Staff very helpful always at hand. 100%!!!
