The staff are fantastic! Reasonably nice place to stay for four nights .. Does the job! Helpful advice from owners available 247. Nice breakfast.
Duvet a bit old.. Cover multicoloured. Wifi signal was poor from my room. The location is right at the heart of the hustle and bustle, some people may find that irritating!
The room itself was clean and cozy. Good enough to stay a couple of days. Shampoo and shower gel were provided and a big bottle of cold water as well :D The owner was very friendly, kind and caring. I fully appreciate his great care. I would stay here again next time. Very pleasant to stay.
Perfect location nearby the square El Fna, but not too hard to find. It's in the middle of the medina but still quiet from the roof terrace.
Less atmosphere than the pictures make you believing, but still good.
The staff were so nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice and the mint tea was tasty. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The bathroom was with shower gel and shampoo. The terrace was lovely and comfortable.
The owners and staff were pleasant but the shock of hotel was huge to ease off the pain.
Felt like being cheated as the beautiful pictures were very deceptive of the real Riad Azalia! My whole family was horrified and disappointed with the state of hotel. Looked dirty, dusty and disgusting. After a long journey, 2am at night, it seemed haunted like a nightmare. This is surely an overpriced hotel. I tried to negotiate to move into a different hotel but I was disappointed with a negative response. You can find many more riads better than this one in the area. Marrakech stay could have been better in a different hotel. It seriously needs TLC (tender loving care) and refurbishment. We were so relieved to be back home and sleep peacefully...
Great location ( in the very heart of the Medina just a few steps from the whirling Djema El Fna) still unbeliveably quiet and peaceful.Stylish calming interior. The staff is great and helpful.Epic rooftop.
Wifi is only usable in the public space on the ground floor which is a little bit inconvenient.
the staff is very helpful and nice, very well located
Location is great ! Staff are brilliant ! Great being opposite the masjid and the best more chilled / real Morocco side of the Jema al fanna
The location of the hotel is superb, only 100 meters from the square. Very good value for money.
The airport pickup was 40 minutes late.
French host is such a kind person that he offered me a free breakfast when I arrived in 9am. The terrence is comfort for afternoon timing.
Facilities are a bit more antiquated than what shown on pictures. WiFi access limited in lobby only.
Very close to Jamma el Fna , on a clean alleyway. Very nice roof top terrace.
Breakfast was poor
the courtyard is much smaller than this photo :p overal all are satisfactory
Really friendly and helpful owners. Delightful, simple Riad, very near the main square, but very quiet (apart from the early morning call to prayer from the mosque next door). Breakfast excellent and served on lovely roof terrace.
Room was quite dark, so if you did not have an e-reader you had to use a torch to read at night. Ground floor room was fine for us, but could be hot in summer. Layout of Riad (around central courtyard) meant that you relied on other guests to be quiet when they were going to their own rooms. However this is always the case in hotels and guests here were nice and considerate.
Hospitality and Atmosphere
Pierre the manager was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location is great, short walk from jemaa el fna. We had a triple room and price was excellent.
The drain in the shower was not working so you had to stand in a shallow pool of water.. Most riads don't have wifi in rooms, this is a general issue not specific to azalia.
Awesome roof terrace, delicious breakfast, very helpful staff.
Bad sound insulation could be a problem if there are other noisy guests.
