Riad Azalia

Pierre and his wife were so lovely, helpful, and hospitable. It really made our stay perfect. The ryad is very characteristic and clean, breakfast was excellent! I would definitely recommend it!

Lovely place to stay, very nice location. Staff is very helpfull. Based in the medina but in a good (less crowdy) part. Would stay there again.

Next to a mosque and bit hard to find for the first time (but which riad isnt). Hammam/massage is on request.

Great service by owners , Superb local knowledge and recomendations for trips,food,shops ETC . Would happily recommend the riad to anyone

Low door heights Nearly decapitated myself on more than 1 occassion due to doors being approx 5;8" and me being 6' also be aware the tower next door calls followers to prayer at approx 430 AM every morning

The Riad was quite pleasant. The Riad itself was nice, the rooms simple but clean. The staff were very helpful and helped make our time there enjoyable.

As with any Riad in Marrakech it took a bit of effort to find it.

Very good location, close to Jamaa el Fna. Good price. Wifi. Helpful staff - Mehdi. Clean bed linen.

Need to improve the service. Poor in amenities. Got a towel with big hole in the middle. It's like old towel. No soap, only shampoo in the bathroom.

This is a really pretty Riad with a lovely rooftop terrace where they serve a great breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large ensuite bathroom. The owner spoke several languages and was really helpful.

The rooftop terrace does get really hot after 9.30am, so having breakfast was a bit uncomfortable at times!

It is very nice and quiet place to stay, very close to the central touristic point in Marrakesh. Staff (1 guy) very nice!

Not being able to pay with credit card. There is a Mosque next to the Riad; the 5 am call could bother some travelers, but for us it was part of the experience.

The location. Right in the Medina, close to shopping, but quite quiet.

We were at the riad azalia for the first 4 nights and it was for us the best riad, you should eat the sandwich "butcher" and also that of fried dough in the way that leads to the square cristina gianna e silvia

Lovely athmosphere, great rooms and nice roof terrace. Perfect location, only 2 minutes to djeema el fnaa, but not easy to find - probably best to pay a maroccan some dirhams to show you the riad. Great breakfast that is served on the roof terrace (there are also some deck chairs to relax. Perfect value for money!!

Only minus is the minaret directly at the riad, that works as waking service at 4 in the morning.

-- Extremelly well situated at 3-5 min walking distance from the Jahma El Fna place and souks, the typical rooms and terrasse, the calm nights (no noise in the street after 10.30 pm), Andrea, her husband Adil and their employees' warm welcoming, their helpfull tips and advices, make this Ryad a ideal place to rest and visit from.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ryad Azalia and can only recomend this place to couples and small families who want to get to know Marrakech from it's center, staying in a friendly place. -- Extrêmement bien situé à 3-5 min à pied de la célèbre place, le style typique, les nuits calmes, l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, leur aide, font de ce Ryad un endroit idéal pour se reposer en couple ou petite famille pour connaître Marrakech depuis son centre tout en demeurant dans un lieu amical.

Our only regret....leaving after a too short stay ! Nous regrettons seulement....les vacances trop courtes et le départ !

Great location, just next to the Jamaa el Fna square. The staff is very frinedly and nice. The brwakfast is great and also done on the top of the riad, very nice place.

Paying with a card or in other currency that is not the local one is not recommanded. I felt robbed with the strange exchange rate they applied to the final amoun when I was paying by card.

Great location, so easy to get to main square and pop back from the souks if you need or want to. Beautiful Riad and lovely room, were not woken by the mosque next door. Very welcoming and helpful.

Owners were not there when we needed them sometimes for example to get our passports.

The location was ideal and the staff and owners really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was included in the rate and we looked forward to it every morning.

The only downside would be the mosk which is located opposite the entrance so an early start each morning.

water liep slecht weg bij het douchen. vuile handdoek op de grond werd niet verschoond maar weer opgehangen

El edificio en sí, su exotismo, la tranquilidad, los suelos de arcilla y paredes, decoración autóctona, el buen trato de la pareja que lo regenta, el excelente desayuno con zumo de naranja natural, frutas, miel, crep marroquí hecha al momento, muy cerca de la plaza central.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba a tope, hacía demasiado calor a la noche para dormir... Aunque mi pareja durmió bien, quizás era yo que acumulé el calor pasado durante el día.
