I really don't know what to say about this place. It was reasonable in terms of cost but it's out of the way. Why is this a problem? what if you get lost and have to ask someone and more than likely you will have to pay. Understandably, but not 5 or 10 euros as I was asked on 2 occasions. The employee of the riad was more than helpful and took me to the main square the next day and show me the way. Conclusion, kow your way around well or be prepared to pay some to take you around.

The inconvience of the location, once you learn your way around it's actually not that bad. It's quite challenging to say the least!

    Everything was good

En-suite bathrooms have been styled without doors so there was no privacy if you wanted to use the toilet or shower. This caused big problems as the others had to leave the bedroom at the time.

Quiet riad with only four rooms in all and a modest terrace, but all the comforts desired. The best thing is the location, a more authentic area of the medina, a bit less tourist oriented, and less crowded than staying near the jamaa el fna square. It is near the tanneries. It is a quick walk to get outside the walls, to transportation or parking for rented car.

We were there in January and we found the nights cold. Enough blankets were provided but no heating; we didn't really mind but if you are not the sort used to sleeping in open air it might be uncomfortable.
