Staff Facilities Rooms Food
Great location for accessing all the sights Staff surpassed expectations - nothing was too much trouble Hammam and massage Very good food
Wifi connection was great but disappeared in the evenings
Clean, easy to find, good assistance at first moment of arrival (staff showed us the way to main square- is their standard procedure). Upgraded the room for free.
Little far away from main square, compaired to other Riads. Very cold inside during cold days, no heated places so we had to sit inside a warm wintercoat....
The staff The tastefulness of the decor The food The guide Max organised for us The tortoises on the roof The massage
Staff, room, pool and shower.
No locks on the door, long walk to the hotel through market with heavy luggage.
Beautiful Riad. Staff very friendly, children loved the Riad pool, good location not far from main square. Mosque next door was nice to hear. Breakfast was good.
Nothing really - it was an authentic Riad which I liked.
We had a wonderful experience when we stayed at this Riad for 3 nights. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was spacious and the decor was beautiful. Situated in the spice market area so just far enough away from the main market to provide a quiet and calm haven. Highly recommended!
Waiting staff was amazing friendly and helpful
Only very limited sound insulation in the rooms, so you hear everything, that happens inside the property (other guests, kitchen, ...)
Amazing place tucked back in a random side street of the Medina. The kings suite was such a beautiful room and the hotel is simply an oasis in the middle of a very hectic medina.
Style, ambience, staff! a haven of tranquillity. Really liked being away from the touts who make other parts of the medina stressful at times. This area was more friendly when you are on your own.
4am muezzins call was a bit of a shock! but adds to the experience.
The best Marrakech experience! We stayed for five nights and had the best time, the Riad design and atmosphere were just fantastic, out host and staff were kind and welcoming. This is a heaven in the middle of the medina. Best food in Marrakech, lovely rooms and everyone from adults to kids had a great time. Well definitely come back again.
What did I like, no, love? Everything! The staff - very friendly and helpful, but in a very genuine way. They made us feel like we were their most important customer. The food - hands down the best food we ate our entire week in Morocco. The breakfast was plentiful and the dinner...divine. The property - was clearly redone with love and attention to detail. The decoration was simple but beautiful. The toiletries - were amazing, local products. It would be nice if they had some for sale, I would have loved to bring them back with me. If I go back to Marrakesh, I will definitely look to stay here!
The only thing I didn't like was that we didn't stay here for longer.
A beautiful interior, just as in the website photos- the staff were excellent and the ambiance was perfect, very relaxing- nothing was too much trouble for them. It was in a great location, easy to find your way around and central to markets and places of interest. We loved being able to walk everywhere, whatever time of day or night.
Our only concern was the one evening meal that we had in the Riad, it was not as tasty as we expected and was over cooked- we actually preferred the street food.
Riad Azoulay was our home away from home for 10 days. We enjoyed very much staying there. The riad is well located in the medina in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff was always at our disposal and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed very good dinners there, on several occasions (different types of tagines and couscous). Several restaurants nearby are also worth a visit. The riad arranged several excursions in the Atlas for us, which was very convenient and reliable. We therefore recommend this place very much.
Great location 5 mins from several attractions and 15 from main square. Staff couldn't do enough for you, giving you tea whenever you wanted it and organising things for you.
Great staff and owners. Location good. Upgraded free of charge from noisy ( outside ) room.
Rooms could improve with a little more plumbing maintenance, shower head loose in first room, could not get bath taps to work in second.
Beautifully renovated Riad with an amazing feeling of tranquility, an oasis in a frenetic quarter of the Medina. It is claimed that the staff are like a family and that is the impression we got. They were helpful and attentive from the moment we got there (actually from when the taxi arrived) but never interfering or overbearing.
The staff were incredibly kind and willing to help with every request. The riad itself is beautiful and very well situated in the Medina. The dinners at the riad were among the best and most reasonable during our trip. We were even given a great Moroccan cooking lesson for one of our meals, free of charge. Riad Azoulay is an absolute gem!
The attention to detail, fresh flowers every day, dates in our room on day one then walnuts on day two, for example. Location, its in a really ordinary 'real' part of town. If you want authentic local feel you get that here.
umm, umm, umm, its really hard as its was as close to perfect. Lower cost, there you go, of course!
Staying there was just genuinely a great experience relaxing in tastefully presented surroundings. The Royal Suite was stunning and spacious. Staff couldn't have been more helpful
The staff at the Riad Azoulay could not be more helpful during our stay. They went out of their way to make sure we had the best possible experience.
Not really a negative but more a recommendation: Get the shuttle service from the airport. It is a reasonable price and otherwise it is tricky to find.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond several times by even taking us to meet our tour one night because we weren't familiar with the area and to a restaurant we had reserved. The dinner was excellent we had on our first night and our room was beautiful.
Nothing. It was perfect.
Very authentic experience. Staff very friendly.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of The local food. But found a great French restaurant a short walk away.
The Riad was simply stunning.. Extremely attentive staff and excellent food... Highly recommend..
