Score from 290 reviews Very good
The staff were really lovely, they showed us on the map how to get about and where is good to go (although we got lost anyway). The position of the riad is perfect! The square is a 5/10 minute walk away.. It is on a busy, fairly loud road but as soon as you enter the riad it is very quiet even on the rooftop! THe rooms were lovely and so clean!
Wifi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the sitting areas near reception. This didn't bother us so much as we don't come on holiday to be on the internet but for those who do..... The breakfast was nice but not much options and very carby! If you hate the sound of tweeting birds waking you up at 7am then maybe not for you!
Nice little roof top swimming pool
Room was tiny, dark and smelled funny. We stayed in 7 different hotels/ riads while traveling in Morocco and within price range we payed this one was definitely the worst !
Everything. The staff were brilliant, from greeting us at the door to organising taxis and spa treatments. It's location is good for the square and the souk. A great place to relax in a busy city.
The staff were really friendly, and the location was wonderful to be able to get outside the front door from a taxi. The terrace was beautiful too.
The staff were kind and helpful at all times. The riad is nicely decorated and the terrace pool where breakfast is served, like an oasis just on top of the city busy streets. First place to serve us some yogurt for breakfast besides the usual stuff.
Our room was pitch black, on the basement, but it was great anyway. The prices of the spa are quite expensive, almost European. It would be nice to offer guests some discounts to use the spa.
Amazing and friendly staff. They even let us sleep in the lounge room whilst our room was made after we arrived at 8am. Good pool to relax in and well prices good quality food. A much better option to staying at a hotel, it feels like you are staying in a small Moroccan palace - must do!
Wifi was not reliable both in room and on the rooftop.
We had seen good reviews but we can't recommend this place enough. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. The location is perfect as it is close to the main square but the riad is quiet and a tranquil place to escape busy Marrakech. We will be recommending this riad to our friends and thank the staff for a wonderful stay!
The staff were helpful with information about the area and organised a taxi for us etc. The food was amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner! The rooms were beautiful and it was tranquil.
The pool was a bit small
Staff, facilities, location, on the whole great place
Wi-Fi could be better Breakfast could include more choices
The staff were helpful and organised us a taxi for the airport. The food was delicious. The roof terrace was beautiful as were the rooms. It was peaceful.
The pool is a bit small but still great.
We had a great stay at Riad Bahia Salam. We had the superior room, which had a Moroccan design and feel to it. A very comfortable room, for some it would be a bit small but for us it was perfect (rough estimate 20m2 total). Also big compliments to the staff. I've never met such a happy, friendly and welcoming staff! We had the best meals of our entire stay at the Riad. They have a large variety for dinner. And if you are troubled with and allergy, no trouble. I had a lactose and gluten allergy, which can be very troublesome for the kitchen. But not a problem at all! I even learned to make my own corn-bread from the head of the kitchen:Atika. Although a tip would be to do some preparation in explaining your allergy in French. A nice, but simple breakfast would do the tric to start the day, with a variety of 3 types of bread, pancakes, traditional Moroccan food and fruits. The location is exceptional! The terras gives an excellent view over the streetlife of Morocco and a romatic setting in the evening. In a few humble minutes you can either be in the old centre of Morocco or the Jewish part of Morocco, thus an excellent location!
stayed in nice suite. nice staff, good location.
breakfast was quite simple.
Clean tidy welcoming
No alcohol and didn't realise until we got there. Breakfast a little limited and simple.
Location very well positioned between the main place and the palaces. The staff were excellent, ready to help you for anything and very friendly. Beautifully decorated rooms and very quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marrakech
The breakfast could be slightly improved, it was a shame to not have a very Moroccan breakfast. The pool was also a lot smaller than it appeared in photos. It was a shame that the internet didn't really work but then that's not what you're in Marrakech for!
The modernised Morrocan design especially the courtyard and roof terrace. The bedroom and reception rooms were tastefully furnished. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful.
Alcohol was not available for purchase in the roof terrace bar.
Nice personal,good breakfast,beauty inside.
Miss the candles
Excellent location lovely hotel
1.Very good location 2. Friendly and multi-lingual staff 3. Breathtaking decor
No alcohol available
Location, location, location..., easy parking, nice roof terrace
Breakfest was quite simple and limited
The location is great, so close to the medina, the bahia palace, etc, but so quiet and relaxing. The rooftop terrace is great to relax in the afternoon when it's too hot to be walking outside. Food is very good too.
Fantastic location, lovely pool and roof top terrace, good breakfast each morning, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Marrakech! It is very quiet but extremely central so it is a perfect place to relax within the busy medina.
I really liked everything about this road - the wifi didn't work in all of the rooms though, but this was not a problem for me because it worked on the terrace and main areas of the hotel.
Clean, polite staff, good facilities and easy access to old town and out to new town.
beds hard, pillows covered in velour! breakfast was poor for proce
Near to the main attractions
Great location, staff, rooftop terrace
Very helpful and staff who are fluent in english.
They seemed to have lost their alcohol license, which is a shame, because they have a nice and large terrace.
