The place is lovely, very easy to find and about 2 minutes to Jema el Fna. Very quiet and confortable. The host Foad was very nice and helpful. An excellent option in Marrakech, I highly recommend.
Amazing riad, very quiet and relax. Staff, service and food are very good.
Location: unbeatable – right next to Jema el fna. Staff: very professional and personable – with a special mention to Foad and Driss, who both went the extra mile to make our stay special. Rooms: not particularly large, but well appointed, comfortable and cozy. Breakfast: generous. We will be back! Loved it.
Thank you so much to all the staff for lovely few nights stay
Right near the main square. Helpful staff who helped plan out our itinerary for the long weekend. Would definitely go back! :)
Incredibly nice and helpful staff, prime location 5 min walk to soulks/city center, clean, AC
This is Riad was perfect! We arrived and net Fouad the host of the riad who was extremely helpful and friendly with whatever we needed! The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast was beautiful in the mornings, enough to keep you going for a few hours. Only 2 mins walk to main square with restaurants and shops. Overall perfect experience at this Riad!
-Location was great -Breakfast was nice -The riad is beautiful
-Wifi was not working in the rooms and in general the connectivity was bad. On the last day I wanted to check my train connections and next hotel address etc and the internet was just not working, when I complained they said it cannot be fixed! So I had could not get some of the important information for my further travel. Was quite inconvenient! - I had a friend visiting me one day and they did not let him into the riad (I am culturally sensitive but do not accept moral policing, especially from people who are in tourism business!!)
We had a very nice stay in this ryad. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, explaining everything about the city. The ryad is fine, everything works and the beds are comfortable. It is a short walk to jema el fna which is ideal because driving around town and, especially, parking is problematic. Would definitively recommend this place.
Stayed here for a week and was happy with service provided.5 Mins from jemna el fna and souks.sheets and towels changed daily.must thank fouad and especially driss for his help and advice throughout .around the area is bit dirty but better than some other areas we seen whilst there.didnt have any problems other than constant hassle of people trying to sell something or get you to go somewhere.best to prebook a taxi from airport with the riad as it would be hard to find on your own if first time .good breakfast each morning.
The constant bad smell in the medina area and being constantly hassled by people.be prepared.
near to city center, clean and typical morrocan hotel
We stayed one night at this ryad and were very satisfied with everything, staff was very friendly and helpful, the location is convenient, 2 mins walking to Jema el fnaa. All in all a good experience.
This ryad is fab, the staff are absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful warm and friendly.
Could not have asked for a better location in Marrakech. Within easy walking distance of the old town and Jema el Fna. Staff was exceedingly friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Foad for his great service. Recommend this ryad highly.
The ryad is located not far from Jema el Fna (3 minutes walk), in a very nice area. The room was big enough, AC and free wifi, good breakfast from 8 to 11 served in the terrace. Very nice and efficient staff.
This ryad was very good. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious. The Wifi was quick. The location was very very good. The front desk staff spoke English well.
Really good staff, especially Driss. He is very kind and gives you a lot of background informations to marroco and marrakech. Good breakfast and great rooms.Within walking distance to the place jamaal el fna.
Very nice staff, in especial the French co-owner I recommend this place
The staff were fantastic! Specially foad. Very good hosts. Good location and nice morrocan decoration. Excelent value for money.
We had to check out :)
This hotel has everything you need for a visit to Marrakech. It is clean, comfortable, and my room was quiet; the breakfast is excellent. Taxi driver had no trouble getting us there from the train station (15 euros), but it could be a challenge finding it on your own
Our stay here was amazing. This was our 1st time in Morocco, much less, Africa and we were impressed by the hospitality the staff showed us right from Day 1. Fuoad, Idriss and the rest of the staff were really sweet and hospitable. On our 1st day , Fuoad shared tips with us on how to survive exploring the wonderful Djemaa El F'na. He also shared insightful information and provided us with maps , highlighting the places we should not miss. The staff has been accommodating the whole time, making sure they meet our every need.Breakfast was wonderful too, daily served on the quiet and peaceful terrace. Rita makes the most delicious home- made yogurt. We had a really great time!
The staff were lovely and very helpful the location is very close to the main square . The staff are caring and are there for any problem you may have.
Maybe a tv in the room would be nice, other than that i thought it was a lovely place to stay.
We spent one night at Riad Balkisse and everything was great. The staff were all very pleasant and could not have been more helpful. We had breakfast on the patio. The room was clean and quiet.
The guy working at night was very helpful.. I think his name is Hassan from the desert. Nice location.
I had to pay much more than they said when I booked. They started charging me for some other "hidden" things.
Convenient location with secure parking. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.
