Great typical place, near main plaza.

The riad is located in a dark and small road in the souq. Quite scaring during night time.

We loved Nadia. We liked how we were met in Jemma El Fnaaa square and escorted to the Riad. We liked the quietness and the delicious breakfasts. We liked the fact that the riad is very small so could not accomodate parties.

there was nothing that we disliked.

People who run it are really nice and such a nice place for how much it is

The main housekeeper and maid were both fantastic. Very helpful and very polite. Always very observant and reliable.

The owners wife who was there on the last morning of my stay was horribly rude. I'm glad she was not present for the rest of my stay.

Found it easily and were immediately welcomed in by Nadya and later met with the owner, Hasna. Overall we were well looked after by the three women who run the place and it was a cracking stay. Excursions are available from Riad Basma direct with their affiliated operators, the prices seemed competitive compared to other tourists fees.We visited Essaouira and Cascade D'Ouzoud at reasonable rates. It's 5 minutes to the Djemma El Fna which is great, but it's down an alleyway which is really quiet so you're not on top of it. Meals are available although we only had breakfast for 33MAD pp. This is a charming Riad and at the risk of sounding unadventurous (given there are so many to choose from) I'd definitely return to Madame Hasna's residence.

The lady was amazing. I got there really late and she actually convinced the cab driver to walk me from the Medina to the door so I wouldn't get lost. I tried to go out and get food but it was too late. I was so hungry when I returned that she brought me a tray of food so that I wouldn't have to go to bed starving. She was great, the place was beautiful, and I would very easily go back. Thank you so much to her if you ever read this review. You really were amazing.

Even though it's very close to the Medina finding the Riad the first time may be a bit tricky since it is down an alley. But if you know the street name and can read numbers on a door then it's fine. Additionally it's at the end of the alley so that helps in locating it. But there is no sign marking the Riad, most are like that. Just look at the address and the number on the door.

Location! It is a really cozy Riad the attendees are great an really helfull they speak several languages. It looks great too

Location!yes is both good and bad. Isn't more than a private room Hostel and for that its a little expensive, the room walls had humidity and with the lack of ventilation made the room smell bad after a day off i guess during summer this is helpful with the heat!

Friendly staff- met our needs. Cute building and nice traditional decor , nice and quiet place

Cold showers, strange smell on entering the building, limited breakfast- mainly bread

Hostess was most gracious, I couldn't find Riad so she came and met me at local restaurant. She also arranged a pre.dawn door to door trip to airport, although it was very pricy by local standards. Riad is gorgeous! And comfortable. Day and night staff are also charming.

Very hard to find and map on your site takes you to the wrong address. It is down a long dark alley of a street where homeless people sleep at night. Not confidence inspiring, but lovely once you get inside.
