to all the staff of Riad Bayti I met yesterday, I want to thank you sincerely for making me feel home and for being so friendly! When we arrived from the station, our taxi driver called this Riad and a very kind man came over to pick us from the main road. Then he served us a very special mint tea with some sweets and they were delicious... The place is very quiet and it is beautiful inside. I was sick and the manager prepared me some hot tea in the evening and also since I liked the sweets, the staff gave me some before I left as a cadeau.... Shukran to all of you and I will come back again with my family and friends for sure!!!:)
The hospitality of Abdel and Aziz are uitstekend! The originality of the house is still kept. The location is interesting, near the Bahia Palace and absolutely not a tourist area.
No internet in the room
The staff was very kind and thoughtful, they help you in an uninterested way. The location, in the Mellah, was close to everything and unlike other zones of the Medina it's safer and the people are nicer. The breakfast was amazing and tasty, specially the homemade yoghurt. The riad is beautiful.
Good location and friendly staff. Good value.
Building work downstairs in Riad prevented afternoon nap. asthma triggered by damp in my room compounded by bites suffered overnight. Happy to leave.
just outside of the real buzz very friendly staff and good atmosphere quite
the meals you can order at the Riad are really good but pricy
The facility of the Riad and of the rooms are beautiful and extraordinary. The terrace on the Roof for sunbathing and Taking breakfast. The Breakfast with the homemade goatyoghurt.
The shower in the bathroom was leaking. The extra Soup for Dinner, we ordernd, was not good at all. The staff seemed sometimes slightly hectic. There was a camera in the livingroom.
The staff at Riad Bayti was incredibly friendly and attentive! We arrived on time, but customs took 2hrs! Despite our late arrival our taxi driver was still there waiting for us and at the Riad the manager Aziz was there to greet us. When he found out we hadn't eaten he had one of the staff make us up some tajine on the spot (even though it was already 10pm)! Delicious, and the staff continued treating us so well throughout our visit, helping with places to go, arranging an excursion, and giving us advice on haggling in the souks! Beyond the staff the Riad itself was beautiful with ornate tile work, a courtyard with pool, beautiful rooms, and a sweet rooftop terrace. Oh and breakfast every morning was a great mix of breads and jams, crepes, juice, coffee and cheese!
Only got to stay for 3 nights:(
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good. All in all, an excellent place to stay and very good value for money.
Delightful, spacious old courtyard house in a lane off the spice market. Ideally located for several good restaurants and many of the main tourist sites. Friendly staff - and two tortoises!
The facilities, decoration and location make this place perfect for young travelers. The rooms are big and quiet (even when some markets are close to the Riad, you can´t hear the noises coming from there). Abdel, one of the managers, is the nicest person... Always happy to help and to give you the best advices to move around Marrakech. And the breakfast... Just delicious!
If you want to come from the airport to the Riad by yourself, it could be a little bit hard to find the address. There's no street signs and taxis can't go through their street. I recommend to arrange the taxi with the Riad... It's cheaper, safer and you won't get lost finding it.
Loved the friendliness of the place and the ambience! We loved the location right by the Medina , but really quiet out the hustle and bustle, which was perfect for our children .The plunchpool was brilliant for cooling down when it hit 52 degrees. Perfect !!
We loved it all
We loved it - Abdul, the manager was wonderful with any request and was super kind and sociable. The riad itself is lovely. Rooms are not huge, but are nicely decorated, and you have the use of the courtyard and terrace. A great place!
I was the last Saturday night (16 August 2014) at this Riad, and honestly I was more than impressed with the kidness of the manager called Abdel. Everything was fantastic, amazing, extraordinary, the bedroom was lovely and huge, clean, comfortable. I was with my partner there during only one night because we visited different places around Morocco, but I am pretty sure that I will come back to this Riad as soon as I will have another opportunity, without doubts. When we arrived, gave us a tasty traditional tee and helped us and giving advises with all information that we required. He was very kind and friendly. The Riad is really cute, with a small romantic swimming pool, lovely roof to enjoy the sun, nice breakfast... 100% I RECOMMEND THIS RIAD!!!! Thank you very much for everything, Abdel!! :) SHUKRAM Look forward to coming back soon.
I loved everything!
The staff was lovely, the atmosphere and the peace amazing. We were just hanging out at the riad long afternoons and felt like home
Great location Good breakfast Cool plunge pool Very quiet
Nice and big riad. Plenty public area.
Our room is on the top floor where the patio located, which is a little bit weird. The staff is very friendly but not very available.
A quiet place in the middle of the Medina. Free Wifi. Very kind staff.
Extras like drinks a little overprized, but no problem to buy them outside.
Great place couldn't have been better Food was very good Great staff veryhelpful
Beautiful riad, friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast! Free Wifi
a little hard to find in the souqs
Beautiful riad, beautifully decorated rooms, lovely courtyard and terrace, helpful and welcoming staff. Great location only 10 mins from Jemaa-el-Fna and round the corner from El Badi Palace and great market stalls including the lantern shops.
Manager Aziz and his brother are really super friendly and helpful. Also the other staff members are very kind and make you feel home. Location is a bit strange and hard to find but transfer helps and takes you there. A bit far from Place Jemaa El Fna (1.6 km) but walking takes you just 15 min. It was a great experience and we loved the place.
Very friendly staff, really big room and excellent bathroom. They have a very nice terrace.
It's a bit difficult to find.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the courtyard was warm and cozy in the winter. We were just passing through for one night but would have loved to stay longer.
The breakfast was great as were the facilities.
The location was ok but not as close to everything as we would have liked.
