I liked the location which is very good for the first time in Marrakech. I like the availability of its staff who was always available to help/assist. I like the breakfast with real fresh orange juice. It is perfect during the summer.
the WI-FI connections goes down often, but you can use a free one which is 'around'. when you pay by credit card they ask you to pay a charge for it. the umidity felt into the bathroom due to the winter season, I think.
convenience of central position. friendly helpful staff
The staff here are all fantastic. Always happy to answer questions or suggest places to visit. They also organised transfers to and from the airport for us and would have arranged trips for us if we'd wanted them. Any queries we had were always sorted out quickly. The hotel itself is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the main square and the breakfasts each morning (on the roof terrace) were amazing!
Our room was a little short on space although nothing unexpected as this is a traditional riad hotel. It was always clean and we had enough room to sleep which was all we really needed.
Great location in the heart of the Medina. Warm welcome by staffs.Freshly squeezed orange juice every morning in the breakfast.Lady, who serve breakfast was excellent!
Excellent location. Good Riad Moroccan experience. 100 meters walk to El Fna Square. Warm welcome by staffs. Morrocan tea each morning. Good orange juice.
Wi-Fi connectivity, reliability not consistent. Wi-Fi speeds up-loads, down-loads slow. Difficult at times to access hotel's protected passcode Wi-Fi and directed to free non passcode Wi-Fi instead. Continental breakfast all breads. No shampoo, lotion, and only one large towel. Small soap bar, and not replaced as used up, but have to ask for another bar. Hotel advertised room safe, but there is none.
Belleville is very close to the central square in the Medina and relatively easy to find. Excellent breakfast included in the price. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Rooms great and a nice rooftop terrase
Depending on which room you stay in there may be some noise. Pillows were uncomfortable
The location was perfect. The hotel stuff were very very helpful for every single question we asked. The roof top and the garden where they serve traditional Moroccan breakfast was amazing. It was very clean and the style of the hotel was really nice.
Sometimes it is very crowded but this is Marrakesh and its Medina.
Had a great time here. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Good breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Location very close to the central square. WIFI works well in the room.
A wonderful hotel right next to the Jemma El Fna square. Also the service was excellent...a friend and i were travelling from marrakech to merzouga and when we missed out flight the riad suggested a taxi driver for us!
Great location the street outside is safe and busy.Clean rooms with great breakfast. It also very easy to find unlike many other Riads. The people there were very friendly and helpful and will organise taxis or tours if you wish. The wifi is great.
Very close to Marrakech main square fa el jamnaa
n this hotel everything was good except one thing: location: 2 min to Jaama el Fna square, good staff, condition air worked ok, breakfast was really good on the very nice terrace. About privacy: i think it's hard to find any privacy in any riad of Morocco, maybe only in modern new hotels, Wi-Fi worked good. From airport by taxi about 10 min. P.S. Always check if city taxes are included in booking prise, and usually when you pay in the hotel they use another course of euro (not like in the shops 1E=10Dh)
The only problem was with shower, actually it was like a swimming pool, water didn't drain (((
Location, style, price, roof top terrace, breakfast.
Attitude of one particular member staff. only partial working toilet.
Wi-fi, breakfast and location good. Overall price was reasonable.
We stayed at this hotel two different times during a one week period. The first day we were given a room facing the courtyard. This room was quiet, but was very stuffy. If you opened the window, you had no privacy. The room was very small and not a lot of space to move around. The bathroom was older and the shower did not drain well. The bed was not comfortable and if one person moved, it shook the whole bed. Pillows were quite lumpy. The second time we stayed at the hotel we were given a room with the window facing the street. This room was slightly bigger. The window provided better ventilation, but was very noisy at night. You can expect noise until 1AM. Even with the window closed, it was very noisy and required earplugs. The mattress was better on the bed but the pillows were still lumpy. The bathroom was more modern and the shower drained well. However, the design of the bathroom had no shower curtain so the entire floor became wet as you showered. Overall, I did not think that this hotel deserved the high rating that it has. It was only fair and I think there are better hotels with similar prices in the area.
We left at 6 am the next day. What we appreciated was that we got a cup of tea and a piece of bread & watery honey, before leaving. There was for example a small plate of honey but unfortunately they had mixed the honey with water! We told them about the smell etc....
We paid 38 euro for one night two people. We could feel the wires in our bed. The photos on their site has nothing in common with the room we got. We took this hotel because of 8.4 rating!!! With what we experienced, it is FALSE rating!!! As we entered the room it stunk of toilet. There was a problem with the hole in the shower, completely blocked. Water wasn't going out so can you imagine water rising above your ankle! Just AWFUL. Will never reccommend it. Very small room. 38 euro is too expensive for what we got!
Excellent location to the main square Responsivenes and friendliness of staff
nothing really significant
In a crazt city like marrakesh, this riad was like an oasis. The rooms are decent sized, wifi works well and everything is clean. The daily breakfast is simple but delicious. Location is amazing, it's literally just a few minutes walk off the main square! People in the riad are helpful and does not try to scam you. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.
The bathroom shower in our room wasnt draining properly
Friendly helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent breakfast.
Our room at front of hotel was very noisy. Room a bit small.
Great location. Good breakfast. Design is nice.
The staff were saying one thing and doing another. The building needed a bit of repair, esp. in the shower.
Great location, beautiful hotel and caring staff-would definitely come back!
Nice and helpfull staff. Very close to the medina, buses, taxies, restaurants and bars.
The zink, shower and toilette could have been working better. A little cold at night (february). After some days you may go crazy of all the noice out in the streets, but it is quiet in the hotelrooms.
Staff very friendly, great breakfast on roof terrace
not much light in rooms, but probably good in summer
Hotel is near Jamma Fna. The rooms have wifi and air-conditioning/heating. Bed are nice and big but take 80% area of the room. Breakfast was decent on the roof.
The front door doesn't have a big sign so was very hard to locate at night, even during the day it won't be easy. The bathroom was small and shower drain had issues. During dec, the night get really cold. Only after two nights, the staff gave me the remote to air-conditioning unit which happened to be also a heating unit. It should have been offered the first night. So ask for remote-control to the unit right away. Payment in cash only. Also learned if you walk up the hotel you can get cheaper rate than booking in advance although won't recommend for first timers
Central Location Friendly Staff Tasty meal(s) Roof terrace Comfy beds, plenty of blankets Powerful shower
Somewhere to stretch out in the sun Room felt a bit damp (January) - probably beautifully cool in summer
Lovely staff! very helpful! Great place to stay!!
