I need a million characters to describe what was ok on riad Ben Youssef : the location was great, the staff perfect, the swimming pool refreshing, the food outstanding, ... This is the best place to stay when visiting Marrakech
If you don't love this place, you're probably an extraterrestrial !

The service is 5 star. The staff were so helpful and l will stay there again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Marrakech
No complaints at all
Our stay at the Riad Ben Youssef was outstanding. From the moment the staff opened the great wooden door onto a hallway of gleaming white marble and carpets, I knew we were in for a treat. We arrived late at night (well after 11pm) and we were served mint tea straight away and then treated to an absolutely spectacular home cooked dinner on the terrace even though it was midnight! The building itself is stunning and we were given a grand tour and had the chance to see the rooms which were not occupied. Each room is beautifully decorated and has a distinct style and feeling all it's own. The atrium is magnificent and sitting out in it (or on the terrace) for breakfast each morning was a wonderful and peaceful way to begin the day. The staff are incomparable! Despite a little bit of a language barrier (the staff speak fluent Arabic and French and a little bit of English, Spanish, Italian, and who knows what else! More than I can speak for sure), everyone did their very best and we were so well taken care of that I am still recovering from not having this service available to me in my home (haha). They were on call day and night, they booked cabs, made dinner reservations, brought mint tea and were just very, very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi throughout the building was fantastic and we rarely had to visit the room in which the router was (unless it was peak time when the whole place was full and everyone using it). Honestly, I can't say enough about this Riad. It made our stay in Marrrakech absolutely perfect. Having this brilliant, beautiful oasis in the middle of the Medina to come back to every evening was just so special.
Wonderful staffs，very nice raid，great food！We really had good time there！Highly recommend！
The staff is devoted to guests. They work throughout this stunning riyadh, offering refreshments throughout the day and night. The dinners are superb and the public nooks and crannies are cozy and romantic. And the terrace views of Marrakech are fantastic.
Not a thing.
Riad Ben Youssef was our introduction to Morocco and Marrakech... It was perfect. Excellent airport transport, friendly staff. We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the beautiful Riad. Amazing painted ceilings, gorgeous tile and plasterwork... This Riad is the real deal! Our room was very comfortable and perfect for us. Though we arrived a little late, they offered dinner and served us an exceptional meal. Sarah was the staff member who spoke the most English and she was very helpful and kind. Loved chatting with her. The manager Ali is so kind... He attended to our every need, drew maps of the medina to help us find things, and helped arrange our transportation to Ouirgane at the end of our stay. Breakfast on their beautiful terrace was lovely every morning. Location was perfect... Steps to Medersa Ben Youssef and the Museum of Marrakech. Short walk through many souks to the Jemma el-Fna.
It was like staying with very good friends. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and I spent there the best time of my Moroccan journey. I was surprised by the unique architecture - mainly appreciated during the tasty breakfast. I'd love to come back => 100%.
The most pleasant and friendly hosts. Made us feel very welcome. We had a tour one day and had to have breakfast at 6:30 and they graciously obliged. Aziz went out of his way to look out for us, calling the tour company and taking us to the nearest square they could drive to. He also checked they were legitimate and looked at their tour license as there are some scammers and fake guides out there. A very good man to his guests.
A little bit too far north in the medina. Hard to get to the square until you know the way! Aziz drew us a map. No signage on the door so ensure you look up the address and print off a map beforehand! We got a local man to take us there who called up a friend and intimidated us into paying way too much for him. Not the fault of this riad though
Imagine what a Moroccan bed and breakfast would look like, but not just any Riad, but a Riad that was originally built hundreds of years ago by a philosopher - astronomer- mathematician and then carefully restored and run by an architect - designer who specializes in historic restorations and who has restored more than a dozen Riads in the Marrakech medina. Imagine a place that was restored with dozens of man-years of master craftsmen filling in the details, making it look just perfectly. Can you imagine the pride of ownership? Can you imagine the respect for the property? Can you imagine the attention to deal? I don't have to. I lived it. We arrived after a ridiculously silly flight schedule that made me question the value of any overseas flight. The niece of the architect met us and gave us a tour and helped us get set up while the architect returned. When we asked him where a good place to eat dinner was, he didn't tell us (which surely would have gotten us lost), but he took us there and ate dinner with us while he filled us in Moroccan customs, food and his work. By the time we were settling in for sleep, I decided that I'd be perfectly happy enduring the same silly flight schedule to come back again soon. I can't wait until he finishes his newest room - the sky room on the roof. They showed us the construction site, and it's going to be amazing.
That I only stayed one night.
It is a great pleasure to recommend this riad. Clean and tastefully decorated place to stay with extremely friendly staff. There are common areas such as sauna, library and swimming pool to your disposal. large terrace offers great views of Atlas mountains.
The riad is difficult to find. If you are new to Marrachech, it is advisable to have an airport pickup arranged. Should you like to find it by yourself, head for Medrasa Ben Youssef, then follow the walls of Medrasa. You will find restaurant La Terrace or something like that...continue further ca 30 m until you find a little narrow street with a wooden booth for nightguard. Enter this narrow street and where it bends, there are doors on the left side with no 37 on them. That is the riad. The staff has limited knowledge of English, but this is well compensated by extreme friendliness and honesty.
Good location Manager very helpfull Very good diner
- Good location in the center of Medina (15 min walking to Place Jemaa El Fna, in Ben Youseff area - Amazing staff, very hospitable, helping a lot with recommendations. It is a family business. The director is a great man, his name is Raji. - 24h availability. We had breakfast at 6:30am two days because we were travelling and everything was ready (orange juice, pancakes, crepes, strawberry and apricot jam, butter, coffee...) - Nice rooms, really authentic arabian style, really clean. They also have a terrace upstairs to chill and a swimming pool. There is also the option to do a Hammam in the same hotel. - Really good prices, it was very cheap and the comfort was great.
- A little bit difficult to find, but nothing is easy to find in Medina. - Some noise at 5:00am due to pray, but I think it is impossible to find a hotel in Medina without noise
We had the most wonderful couple of days staying.at Ben Youseff Riad, The owner and staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent and would highly recommend it to everyone.
- The place is beautiful and clean. The roof is very pleasant - The location at the center of the medina is practical (10 minutes from Jamaa El Fna and righ next to the Souks) - The staff was very welcoming, full of ressources and professional. - The traditional marocan cooking was excellent, much better than many restaurants in Marrakech Must go !
