Riad Yacout offers traditional accommodations in a unique setting. It is located in the heart of the Meknes medina, 2 minutes from El Heddim place, the Bab Mansour gate and Kobt Souk.

get out - and get contacted - immidiately - but this is the medina.
The owner was the kindest and most welcoming man, nothing was too much for him. the room was in moroccain style but was beauiful, cared for and extremely comfortable. Our location was brilliant made going around Meknes really easy. Was able to book a tour from the hotel and had a brilliant guide at a really good price. They had a an amazing terrace on roof, partly shaded, partly in sunlight where you can sit and read or sunbath, which was so relaxing and had a lovely view over the rooftops of Meknes. It really was a winderful place to stay!
Great dinner. Super friendly and helpful staff. My friend lost his wallet and Raschid went over to the police station after we left and traced it down for us! Amazing service. Best dinner we had in the whole of Morocco for 10 days, accomodating to all our requests. We checked in at 11pm and had our dinner then. Checked out at 4am 2 days later - no problems. Lovely decor. Great terrace. Comfortable. Huge and satisfying breakfast. Central location.
Nothing to dislike.
Absolutely beautiful. Warm welcome from the staff (plus manager helped us carry our luggage from the parking place). Tasty breakfast. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Well located.
Rooms are not the most private, but it's acceptable.
I enjoyed my stay in this riad. The room was so clean and quiet that I could sleep well every night. I remember the bath towel was very soft. There was a satellite TV in the room, so I could watch many broadcasts especially BBC, CNN, NHK(Japanese). Cuisine was very tasty. Bouchra(female staff of the riad) served me lovely breakfast and dinner as if I were one of her family. I like her Moroccan vegetable soup and tajine as well as English conversation with her. I think it’s better to stay in this riad to visit Moulay Idriss, Volubilis (Roman ruin) and Fez, instead of staying Fes. Rachid(manager of this riad) will help your plan and give you good idea as friendly concierge.
I couldn't find.
This place would satisfy the most demanding tourist-it's beautiful and cosy, the staff is very polite and helpful. The room and bathroom are clean,tv with English channels, air conditioning works perfectly. I would score this place 10/10 and recommend this Riad to other tourists!
excellent position, very good food in riad bechekroun
Great location, breakfast and dinner was amazing, and the owners and staff were very kind, thoughtful and helpful. Beautiful decor throughout the Riad. You couldn't ask for more...exceptional!
We loved everything about this Riad.
everything! I'll come back! nice place, nice dinner!!!
The best place where we sleep and eat.Cuisine was simply and really tasty. We suggest to stay in riad Benchekroun to visit Fez, Moulay Idriss, Volubilis.Rachid was very helpful and gentle For all our requests.Great!
Nothing to say.
The manager and the cook were very helpful and friendly. Staying there is like being in a family home, complete with canaries in cages. Cook is a terrific baker. We were given flowers as a honeymoon gift.
The Riad was dusty, tired and grubby. Dated decor compared to other riads. Mattresses and pillows incredibly hard. Kids played outside the front door which was great, but their food wrappers weren't swept/picked up for hours. Food mediocre and expensive, compared to other Riads and street food. Breakfast ho-hum.
Architecture and decorative detail of the riad. Very helpful manager/host. TV with BBC and CNN. Excellant breakfast.
Very gloomy and poorly lit. Gloomy room and bath. General lack of comfort.
Todo !!!! Amazing place!!! The best Riad I have stayed in , awesome riad with traditional unique decoration, fantastic rooms with AC and great showers. The owner and his assistant extremely friendly just out to help, for me and my wife this was 5 star all the way.
Nothing to dislike!!
This riad is a beautiful place to stay with very gracious hosts. Our stay was one of the most enjoyable in the whole of Morocco.
Nice eating area inside for a wonderful breakfast and is set up for guests to mingle or have privacy. The staff set up a nice candlelit dinner on the roof for V-Day weekend. Conveniently located and quiet.
Everything was very nice! During our stay my husband became ill and the staff was so nice and prepare tea and food for him. Thank you again for this remarkable hospitality!
Very pleasant staff who are not overwhelming but helpful and attentive. The road is in an excellent location? The best breakfast we had in morocco.
The room was a little small for three people and the bathroom miniscule.
The situation, inside the Medina and easy to find. The building is wonderful, elegant and the staff very attentive. The incredible breakfast, very very completed.
The room was small. We were four persons in the same room, each one with his suitcase and there was no enough space. We arrived so late at Riad and nobody said to us that it was very late to have dinner there until we ask. Outside, everything was closed.
Extremely courteous staff. Couldn't find the hotel, called hotel and someone was there to guide us in through the Medina within minutes. The rooms were cozy and cute. Everything worked well. My wife and I had a double and our adult sons has a triple. Breakfast was taken on the roof terrace and was delicious with eggs, pancakes, pastries. The main thing is that the staff are so very nice and helpful and welcoming. This, and the charming old riad itself is what makes this hotel so very special.
No negatives. Only thing is that we were driving in to Meknes ourselves in a rented car. The hotel is in the Medina and is not accessible by car. But that is not a problem really as the Medina is all the more charming without motorized vehicles.
staff very helpful food delicious price fair
wifi was unstable and difficult to get in the room
Very authentic design with nice view of medina area. If you want to experience staying in a house with a moroccan feel, this is one of the best place so far.
The beautiful roof top terrace, the delicious breakfast and the friendly staff
an immaculate and sensitive restoration of a riad. The owner and host did a marvelous job. The suites are great and worth.the extra money
a bit noisy in the main floor room
the decoration inside was so romanctic and I feel great together with my husband.I request a gluten free bread and I was so pleased when I see my breakfast with good bread that I requested.
No good quality shampoo and soap,no even conditioner.
The staff was extremely kind and everything was arranged superbe. Really relax riad, with a unique vibe. Cant find 1 thing that wasnt superbe!
