This place will struck you from the first minute. The family-like reception and the warm greetings overwhelms you. Abu Edriss, his wife Nadia, and Boshra, their daughter spared no efforts to make my wife, my daughter and I feel really at home. In addition, the food they provide specially the breakfast was just so good while enjoying the beautiful surrounding. If not for a tight schedule that we had, we would of stay for another night or nights there. Thanks for family and their staff. No words would really describe how much we appreciate our stay at this hotel. Transportation to and from the city, though Abu Edriss and his wife out of his kindness drove us several times. Also, it will a good addition if they have a wifi provided.

Okay too start off, the location is fine due too the way that marrakech is built. The Palace was absolutely amazing, with 2 pools both fresh water and an amazing overall look. You are treated like loyalty during you stay. The rooms are quite nice and the meals are superb. The palace can only hold a maximum of 22 guest so it has an amazing staff to guest ratio. I think there were only 4 other people at most times that we we their. Everything was superb, the only downside was the location as mentioned, but the chauffeur/hotel gave an amazing rate of 200 dirhams(18 euro)

We spent three weeks in morocco and stayed at lots of nice places but without doubt this was the most friendly. Nordin the owner and his staff were absolutely charming -The riad is set within its own large grounds within olive groves and is very peaceful. Food excellent.Excellent value for money. Has lovely pool. The riad is about 3 miles from Marrakech- taxis aren't therfore a little expensive but they will collect you and that does make life a lot easier. We felt that the peace, tranquility and setting more than balanced being slightly out of the centreand would very much like to visit again.

We liked everything at this Riad! The friendly and graceful hosts did really everything to make our stay comfortable! They found us an excellent guide to visit Marrakech and went out of their way to make sure we wouldn't get lost when out on an excursion. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Whenever we would come home from a long day of sightseeing, there was always tea and the meals we took in the riad were excellent! The riad is located a bit outside of town which may be a problem if you don't want to rely on taxis. But for us it was a big plus to come back to the peace and quiet of the countryside after the hectic traffic and the busy medina of Marrakech - and to be able to relax by the pool and look out over the snow capped tops of the atlas. We will definitely come back here next time we visit Marrakech! Absolutely nothing! Un Grand merci à tout l'équipe du Riad Berbere pour l'acceil chaleureux et pour avoir rendu notre première visite à Marrakech une excellente expérience. Nous serons de retour!!

Stunning location surrounded by olive trees. Quite relaxing countryside farm with a bonus of two swimming pools same time not far from city center, airport and other facilities. Owner & staff are very very friendly and flexible. If any one wants to know about Moroccan heritage and old designs Palais & Riad Berbere is one of the places to go to. Can`t wait to go back there with all family and friends. If any thing, is lack of public transport and resort transport,

The service from the staff was excellent. Meals available where good basic food but pricey at €25 per head for dinner. Very nice large outside pool, plenty of sunbeds, in a tranquil setting, good for relaxation.Staff were able to organise trips out by taxi with recommendations for local sites to visit. Room was very clean but sparsely furnished, very comfortable bed and air conditioning with a small garden attached to the room, made for a pleasant stay. Hamza one of the staff spoke good English and was particularly helpful. Staff always on hand if required and they all had a very pleasant demeanour. All in all not a bad place if you want a couple of days in Marrakesh in a mid budget hotel. The Riad is on the edge of the city so quite remote, there is nothing nearby to walk to, shops, bar / restaurant etc so you have to take a taxi everywhere which was expensive at €25 each time. Also be aware the taxis are very old with no aircon or seatbelts. We suggested that they should get a shuttle bus for guest'S. The surrounding area is very dirty, with a lot of poverty, but in fairness most of Morrocco is like that. Some areas of the Riad looked unfinished and could do with a clean up. Pigeon droppings on the Sun umbrellas and pool surrounds wasn't very nice. There are also a few pets, chickens, rooster, cats etc, that roam freely, that can be a bit annoying and off putting when you are eating.

An excellent Riad, very clean, beautiful rooms, very friendly staff. The owner Noureddine is very involved and made sure that we were ok at all times. One of the staff (Hamsa) spoke excellent English, the best we heard in Morocco. Food (while a little pricey) was excellent and worth while. In short an excellent place to experience Marrakesh.

We had a really relaxing stay at the Palais & Riad Berbere. If you want a week of pure peace and luxury than this is the place for you! The Owner and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals are simple but very tasty. Marrakech is only 15 mins away by taxi.Or you can get a taxi to go into the Atlas mountains, which takes about 45mins by taxi. Unfortunately the taxis are expensive and they will try to get you into every carpet shop,or any other shop where they get paid to take you to.

My family and I ( 3 kids, 16,14,11yrs) have just returned from this wonderful oasis of calm and tranquility! We had a really fantastic 4 days and were all sad to leave. The Palais & Riad Berbere is a beautiful riad-style building with the central courtyards (one with pool!) and rooms off these. It is very relaxing, the staff were always there but never in the way, the food was delicious. No alcohol or fizzy drinks which isn't a problem because there is a shop not too far away if you need to stock up! This place is a must to visit, we will certainly be back as soon as we can be... a big thank you to all the staff for a fantastic time. There is nothing that we did not like about Palais & Riad Berbere. We did feel, however, that it would have been good to have a shuttle service to-from the city. Other hotels offer this. It wasn't a major problem not having this on offer, but with kids wanting to go in and out of the city as often as possible it did end up being expensive going by taxi.

The service was impeccable we cpould go as far as saying that it was 'top draw' Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter what time of the day or night it was. The reason we chose Palais Riad Berbere, was due to the outstanding reviews and we were pleased to find out that all was true to form.We were treated like royaly. We could not have wished for more and will definately visit again and will be recommending to all of our friends. I can honestly say there was only one issue and that was the pool trap door which was situated next to the pool area. This was left open permanently which we considered a huge health and safety risk if any one fell down it.

Truly delightful Riad with exceptional service, friendly and professional. My family and I stayed in a fantastic (Royal) suite with interconnecting rooms all with their own ensuite facilities and a central dining/lounge/chill-out area with open fire (we had 3 bedrooms in this area however there are two more double suites that can interconnect so amazing for a large group of friends or family to share - almost like a private riad within a riad) and great value for money.Fresh linen, towels and bathrobes were provided and everything was lovely and clean which is always my biggest issue when travelling. Fabulous outdoor pool and gardens with plenty space for outdoor eating. Only 15 minutes at most away from centre of Marrakech and airport with drivers readily available for a small fee so ideal when you've had enough of the noise and congestion of the city. They also picked us up from the airport and had dinner ready for us despite our late arrival! Bring your own wine etc and the staff are happy to serve it for you with their delicious authentic food.Highly recommended.
