The staff were consistently welcoming, warm and helpful. They were always on hand without being overbearing. The food was very good and breakfast plentiful, although you can get cheaper in town. The relaxing atmosphere was a prefect escape from the liveliness of Marrakesh itself. The pool was perfect for the children to play in and the grounds are big enough for them to play games together in without bothering the rest of the guests.

Being out of town you need to be prepared to plan your journeys into Marrakesh and have cash available for taxis.

Amazed by the friendly welcome nothing was to much trouble rooms were comfortable and clean pool area was large and well layed out .food was reasonably priced (market choice menu)staff were always happy and friendly and attentive it really felt like you were a VIP .

We arrived by car and drove past the gates twice . The sign outside just has the initials palais R.B . Could do with being changed. That's all .

Staff was very warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to keep us happy, cooking noodles for kids, bringing breakfast to the rooms, booking events/guides for us. The owner's son came to pick us up and guide us to the hotel when we were lost the first time. They are open and forthcoming about their charges and services.

We loved the place; it looks fantastic and it is clean and quiet. The breakfast is nice (although very sweat and the same everyday), with fresh orange juice, cake, egg, bread and coffee w hot milk. And we enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The beds were good, the owner and his staff made us feel very very welcome. He also drove us to the supermarket to buy alcohol (which he doesnt serve himself). They are all really helpful and they were super friendly to our young kids. It was too cold in the year to swim but the pool looked amazing. So thanks to Nourdine and his family and staff we had a lovely and relaxing stay.

The riad is located far from the town. So you will always need a taxi; for every trip to the centre, but also if you want to go shopping. There is really nothing outside of the gates of the riad.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Garden is enjoyable.

Rooms felt stuffy. Some are mouldy (we visited several). Comforters/bedding are of poor quality. Rooms are very drafty, and heaters (ac units) are loud, and blow cold air every few minutes before blowing heat. Very uncomfortable sleep conditions. Breakfast was laughable - horrible quality grocery store white bread, artificial jams, poor coffee...the worst we have ever tasted in Marrakech (and we have sample MANY)...

We loved our stay at the Palais and Riad Berbere. We had a warm welcome and the owner did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The food was great, and the garden and pools were very relaxing. We came back to this place after a week in the South, and enjoyed again the peace of this place, before heading back to Switzerland.

the big swimmingpool the friendly owner

The place is in the middle of nowhere and you pay €10 for a taxi each way to go into town if you do not have a car. So you end up having to eat there and food is very expensive. Besides if you are susceptible to atmospheric vibes the place has sad and lonely feeling clearly the owner imitates western spa places with their prices but none of the amenities: only a bar of soap in the bathroom, the rooms were not made im the morning and so on ...

The pool was a real highlight !! The rooms are big and nice. We had such a good time!

Food is quite pricy, but that is no real problem- Marrakech is very near.
