The hotel is in a very good location and their hosts are very friendly always willing to make you confortable. They organized private tours for us which were very good. We had dinner a few times and their food was excellent.
- Owners very friendly and helpful - Location excellent - We ate twice at the Riad and the food was excellent. - We used 3 rooms and the last day we flew late. They let us keep one room after the check out time and until we left with no extra charge. - Very cozy place and charming. - We'd come back here. For sure !
Julian and his wife were simply wonderful and made us feel extremely welcome. They were friendly and attentive and helpful - it was a return visit for us and as good as the first time we came - thank you, hopefully to return again one day
The staff went out of their way every day to be helpful and answer our every question thoroughly and with a smile. They provided breakfast earlier than normal on the days we had to leave early for day trips and booked the day trips for us. They are overtly friendly with a good sense of humor and made sure every aspect of our stay was comfortable. The riad is in a great part of the medina, not far at all from the main square. It is beautifully decorated and has a fantastic roof deck that overlooks the city. In addition to the warm hospitality it is a good value for your money. We highly recommend this riad as it was one of the highlights of our 12 days in Morocco.
We found the best kept secret in the medina. Super service, great host and highly recommandabel! Next time in Marrakech we know a very good address ;-)
Great location, fantastic hosts with all kinds of valuable tips. Even when staying in the riad for the whole day, can rest, have wonderful food, lovely view from terraces. When staying in Riad, we had a feeling of calmness and could rest peacefully, but in 2 minutes you are in the middle of soaks and at wild any active Djemal el-fna. Hosts have lots of usefull tips and can offer information on all kinds of activities in Marrakesh and Morocco. You can also have a dinner in Riad, which is excellent. Great value and Will defenitely go beck for a long weekend.
Very nice and friendly owners.
We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Marrakech whether you've been to the city before or not. Julian, Francoise and their staff are all very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the city. We followed other reviews and booked our taxi transfer from the airport with the Riad. We never would have found it if Julian hadn't been there to meet us! The location is great, it's just minutes walk from the square and right in the centre of the souks - however once you're inside it's very relaxing and peacful. The rooms are very nicely finished with traditional Morrocan details and the roof is a lovely place to sit out when it's warm. Julian and Francoise were very helpful advising where to visit in the city and they made our stay very enjoyable. We would definately stay again if we return to Marrakech and would recommend this Riad to all our friends and family who visit.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming. A very nice place.
Great hosts, perfect location fab views from roof top terrace
Great location, attractive little riad, welcoming staff, nice breakfast, great terrace. The standard rooms are just that, small but perfectly adequate and are priced to match. If you want more space & light, go for the superior doubles.
We were unlucky to have a plumbing problem that was not able to be quickly fixed, despite their best efforts. A wonderful visit nonetheless.
Oussama (manager?) was outstanding. He helped us with everything: recommended and organized fabulous activities, excursions, transportation and restaurant. He walked us to hard-to-find places, starting with meeting us at the edge of medina when we arrived to bring us to the Riad. We are so grateful to have had such a kind, knowledgeable and helpful person take care of us. We had 2 fantastic dinners at Riad Bibtia. It was a lovely, peaceful home-base in the middle of all the action.
This is a wonderful experience that's ideal for families - a safe, cosy traditional riad (rooms off a central courtyard), with excellent à la carte cooking, air-con/heating in rooms (important for summer/winter!), and super-helpful hosts. Perfect if you are looking for a traditional experience and not a soulless modern hotel. Located deep in the medina but don't be put off, it's perfectly safe and full of atmosphere...
The hosts were fabulous. They were very nice and helpful to us and gave us personal service. We had a great stay!
Riad Bibtia goes the extra mile to provide guests with a personal and friendly experience. The owners are incredibly commited to ensuring that guests are well looked after both inside the riad and in Marrakech itself. The attentive staff and the warmth of the riad make it stand out as a reliable and comfortable place to stay. We would thoroughly recommend Riad Bibtia to others.
We absolut LOVED it there. The owners are super sympa and they do everything to make your stay first class. The rooms are really beautiful, clean .. hairdryer in the bathroom and enough light. You get a waterbottle and some extra blankets. The riad is absolutely stunning. Breakfast great and they are open for any requests you might have. The Grand Place is 5 minutes away and the environment is really cool. I can only recommend it and I will defenitly be back!!!
Thank you Julien and Françoise for warm welcome and nice stay! This owners together with their helpful and friendly staff will do their best to make your stay as much comfortable as it could be! Nice breakfast, beautiful terrace and the best location. Merhaba!
The location was great with a very interesting walk to the main square. The French couple running the place was/is wonderful so very helpfull. I would stay again
The price was high but then it's high season.
Beautiful Riad, nice location, The food was wonderful and the hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming.
Very nice place in an amazing location (yet not easy to find at first). Very good value for money. Rooms have character and the terrace is very nice. The host Julien was amazingly kind in providing hints for authentic places to have lunch and redirected us to a nice place for the hammam.
Took some time to get hot water in the shower
The family really takes care of their gests! Both so that you feel very welcome to their riad and to help you to plan/do nice things during your stay. When we need help to buy some jewellery, we were nicely followed to several serious shops and helped to get at good price. So very serviceminded! Thanks! PS: Taxi t/f airport may differ much. We used the same driver both ways (40 DH from just outside airport/50 DH drop off at airport). This nice and trustfull driver: 0602458448.
We came to the riad through the hustle and bustle of the Medina, with the host Julien leading the way. As we entered Riad Bibtia, the tranquility and atmosphere of the building really struck us. We had been looking for a riad that had traditional Moroccan design and we could not have hoped for more. The lovely hostess Françoise greeted us with mint tea. The hospitality from all the staff throughout our six day stay was faultless. We enjoyed our breakfasts in the riad's atrium and ate splendidly there one evening too. We spent many a happy hour on the beautiful roof terrace. Julien arranged a little trip for us to an Amazigh village in the Atlas Mountains. We were sad to leave the family atmosphere of the riad and would be very happy to return.
Françoise & Julien are very kind people. They will tell you how to get around in the city and give you a really welcome feeling. The Riad is situated in the middle of the Medina, just a 5 minute walk from the square, which is a very save and pleasant walk too. I would recommend this Riad. As well too Young couples as older travelers.
Fantastic location- just a short stroll (and shop) to the main square. Great hospitality, food and recommendations. Lovely décor, clean rooms and an amazing roof terrace view.
