Riad Dar Zahia is ideally located in the heart of the medina, close to the famous Jamaâ El Fna Square, at the gate of the souks where you will spend hours shopping and wandering around.

Located in Marrakech, this traditional-style riad features a fitness centre, beauty centre and a rooftop terrace with plants and sun beds. After a day of sightseeing, you can relax in the plunge pool....

So pretty with beautiful detail . Very friendly staff . I loved the pathway walls right in the medina !
The attention to detail and helpfulness of the staff was amazing. We found it the best place we have ever stayed, however when to book a stay in riad you have to understand that it is different from a classical hotel- which we loved!
Lovely people, really helpful. Really good location to explore Marrakech.
Very nice Deco, and very clean, good quality bed.
Staff can not speak English, made things very difficult. The hot shower only last maxi 5 min. No television in the room. Rooms are very dark, very little day light come in. Wi-Fi on and off all the time. The hotel is located in a very hidden residential area, we and another English couple spent more then 1 hour to found the way back after dinner on the 1st day.
Very nicely decorated, even the small details. Exactly 5 minutes away from Jemaa el Fna and 2 minutes from Bahia Palace, not too difficult to find. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Small issues with hot water and wifi connection, quickly solved by the staff
One the most beautiful and pleasant Riad you can find in Marrakech. The room is beautiful and the breakfast is stylish, delicious, and memorable. All our friends saw our photos of this lovely and well restored and decorated riad are so admiring and longing to go to visit Morocco and Marrakech. The staff are particularly friendly, nice, and helpful, though English is not their most fluently spoken language. The location is excellent. I would strongly recommend this one to anyone visiting Merrakech. We will be back again!
in the middle of the madness of the medina, sits this hidden gem, very quiet, great rooftop, incredible decorations and colours,24 hour service if coming home late.
confused about airport pick up,as the owner sent an e.mail before arrival, but all in french!!she struggles to speak any english, but makes an attempt,an english speaking male manager comes on duty from 5pm.
It has been a wonderful experience. The Ryad was minutely decorated. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff was very polite and professional.
Difficult to find. The map in the web site is not precise. Once you are in rue riad zitoun el jdid go to the left in the narrow street where there is an indication for earth café, then go to the left, straight on till the end, then to the right and again to the left
This has to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in! We stayed at the Riad for 4 nights. The attention to detail is impeccable and the service of the staff is excellent. We absolutely loved everything about the riad. The rooms were immaculate and the staff followed out coming and goings and made sure to clean/make breakfast around our schedule. They waited until they saw our lights go on in the morning to turn the music on, and waited until we went to bed to turn the hall lights off for us. Very good attention to detail. The room itself was amazing. So lovely. We had a spacious bathroom and very comfortable shower. Literally everything in the room is decorated in some way- even the shower curtain rail, the toilet paper covers and the light switches! The communal breakfast area is wonderful as well and we were happy to have breakfast every morning there. They changed the linens and flatware daily, so we had something new to look at. The breakfast consists of nice pastries, mint tea (of course), coffee, and yogurt/fruit/egg depending on the day. Everything is fresh, and they ask each night what time you'd like to be served at. so everything comes out nice and warm. For me, the breakfast is very.very sweat, but that is the Moroccan way :) The terrace on the roof is peaceful and clean- we sat there from time to time reading or playing cards. It is possible to bring alcohol in to the breakfast area or the terrace....just don't be loud and obnoxious about it. The owner is very friendly and helpful, but she speaks French predominately and only speaks a little English. This does not mean that she will not try to understand you- we communicated everything we needed during our stay without issue (in English and our very bad French). The boys working there were all helpful and went out of their way to be friendly. The location of the Riad is perfect! We were so happy.
The only thing we did not 100% like was the price/service of the airport pickup/drop off. We booked their service to pick us up when we arrived into Marrakech (for 15 euro) which worked out well because we were tired and didn't know where the Riad was and didn't want to argue with cab drivers about the price.I Recommend pickup from the airport. On the way back to the airport though we were told that the same driver and same car would pick us up. We were picked up by a different driver in a different car...which if you know about Marrakech is not ideal. Many people sit in the parking lots claiming to be your driver and you can run into trouble if you are not sure who you are supposed to get in a car with. I was travelling with my husband, but had I been alone I am not sure I would have gotten into the car. The drive to the airport is about 10 minutes- you can get a taxi for about 50dhm...we paid 15 Euro...hmm...
