We were made to feel welcome into the riad of a kind couple. Staying in the Medina gave us a feel and sense of the true culture of Marrekech. Location was close to School Mohammed / Riad Larousse ( Main pick up for excursions/taxi/bus ). It is a 15 Mins to Souks and 30 mins to the El Fna square. I suggest reading up on appropriate wear because we felt that it helped a lot with the hussle bussle life out there. For the price, it was simply brilliant and the couple who ran the Riad are extremely kind people. Highly recommended if you are looking for value for money. I would stay again.

Nothing to fault here. I am not fussed and as long as the essentials are there I am more than happy. The main thing is to go to excursions, go out get the feel or the Morrocon life and to have somewhere to stay at night. Hospitality and welcoming feeling feeling gave this hidden gem a personal touch.

Greeted by the lovely Nezha and her husband with tea brewed from their rooftop terrace and delicious pastries. Nezha talked us through the best route to the souks and main square which was invaluable. Probably a 15 minute walk to the square but honestly, it never bothered us and was really safe with people everywhere and so much to see. Our room was beautiful, air conditioning was wonderful and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. The rooftop terrace is a lovely way to see across Marrakech. Definitely would recommend this Riad!!

A fantastic place to stay in Marrakech. Nezha was unbelievably helpful, and the Riad itself was beautiful. I would struggle to find a fault. 10/10.

Fantastic service, very accommodating with our early arrival and very early departure. Breakfasts were delicious. If we ever come back to Marrakesh, we will be staying at the Riad Cherihane!

There was nothing NOT to like at the Riad Cherihane.

The owner of the riad is nice and helpful. Also the breakfeast they serve is delicious.

The location of the riad is really not good and also it is risky to come back the riad after dark.

This was a lovely Riad tucked away in the streets of Marrakech. Would advise emailing the owners of the Riad Cherihane to arrange a taxi to/from the airport, at only 12 euros each way it's well worth it. The owners are lovely, we were greeted with mint tea and a selection of sweets, a map and advice when going into the main square and souks. Breakfast is set out beautifully comprising of pastries, bread, freshly cooked pancakes, jams, cheese, fresh orange juice, tea and coffee. In the walls of Marrakech it can be a crazy, hectic pace, motor scooters everywhere and easy to get lost in the souks. This Riad is ver peaceful to come back to, it's about 15 minute walk to the souks and about 30 minutes to the jemaa el fna main square but once you know your way it is easy.Enjoy your stay! Sandra and Sharon

Be prepared to be hassled escpecially by young men in the souks offering to show you the way to the main square, you end up in their uncles shop or similar. They are friendly, sometimes a bit too friendly if you are women travelling alone but if you keeps your wits about you and haggle for the things you want you will have fun and come away with some bargains. We started at a third of the initial asking price and haggled until we arrived at an agreed price. Think about what you really want to pay and don't go any more. A bit of advice from my friend and I who went for the first time is to only eat hot food, avoid salads and cold foods, take antibacterial handwash and make yourself familiar with your own route through the souks using landmarks so you know where you are going as it's easy to get lost.

Run by a charming couple. Friendly, flexible, accommodating with special requests such as 6 a.m. breakfast and 2 a.m. airport pickup. Caring and honest. The place is impeccable. Feels like home!

The friendly welcome and laid back atmosphere as well as the furnishings and decor which were well thought out. The roof terrace was delightful with lovely flower pots and stunning views to the snow-capped High Atlas mountains. The riad was exactly how the photos represented it.

The walk to the central square was an adventure at rush hour, involving horses, donkeys, rickshaws, cars, bikes and mopeds; there are no pavements!

Nezha and Alain were so helpful & friendly. They answered any questions with a smile and gave you a lot of advice so that you were ready for the Marrakesh experience! The room we had was perfect and beautifully decorated and cleaned every day. But the best part of the whole experience was the small, but beautiful roof garden and the 2 tortoises! It was amazing how many large shrubs and trees were designed into the garden. It was peaceful and a sanctuary from the dry hustle bustle of the medina. Would definitely go back!

This is not so much a negative, but just disappointed that we were not told that we could request dinner at the riad. Shame as we would have loved to eat an authentic meal.

We only stayed here for one night but the Riad owners did everything to make our stay extremely comfortable, especially given that my husband had bad food poisoning. We needed bottled water, and someone was sent to get some for us, at no charge. The next day we were due to check out at 12 but we were allowed to stay in the room till 5pm. The service was simply excellent. Our green room on the ground floor was spacious and beautifully decorated, breakfast was fantastic, we were greeted with tea and biscuits, and the terrace was such an oasis of green and tranquillity. They even have a small tortoise wandering around up there. I highly recommend this Riad, and it is excellent value for money. Thank you both for making our stay so comfortable.

Really lovely Riad. Breakfast was traditional Moroccan, however the types of bread were different daily and some days there was cakes and fruit salad. Spent a long time relaxing on the roof top terrace.

Not in the location Booking.com has it. Luckily we googled it as well. Can be a bit difficult to find at first.

Very good value for location and services. The owner Alain and his wife is extremely nice and helpful. I feel like home while I was visiting, and I am a solo female traveller. I would for sure stay here again if I come back to visit Marrakesh.

Everything was wonderful! The riad is beautiful, a little difficult to find but once you get there and they have explained it to you in details, you can't get lost anymore! We had dinner at the riad one night, I definitely reccomend it, it was just lovely! Breakfast was great! Nezha was very helpful with everything. Thanks a lot!

Nice and clean riad with a very beautifull roof terrace. Rooms are large with a good bed and a bathroom. The breakfast is good and varies every day. If you want something 'special' for breakfast or a mint tea at night, you can ask the really friendly hostess. Cherihane is a bit difficult to find, but the owner/staff will pick you up if you can't find it.

the room we booked (zahra) is on the ground floor, which lacks the feeling of privacy because it's next to the lobby/kitchen.

Beautiful riad, immaculately clean with lovely public areas and roof terrace. Our hostess cooked us dinner on our first night which was an excellent 3 course home cooked meal. Room was cleaned daily with clean towels. Breakfast was excellent too and varied each morning including pancakes, pastries and preserves. Can highly recommend this accommodation. Its in the heart of the medina and walking distance to the souls and main square.

    There was nothing to dislike

Lovely riad with nice rooftop terrace, manager was friendy and helpful, very quiet and peaceful, would stay here again. Tip: if you get lost in Marrakech ask for Bab Doukall, the alley for the riad leads off this street at number328, far easier to find your way using this route

The riad does not accept Visa, although this is stated in the hotel facilities

Very nice welcome with big cold water (important during summer!) and plan how to get to Djeema el Fna. Breakfast at beautiful terrace on the top. Very nice decorated riad, spacious rooms!

Location not ideal for exploring Marrakesh.
