we got a very Nice stay, personal was very nice, the place is clean and the guy of reception staff very friendly, he helped us for booking a tour for the desert very cheap and he saved our luggages in the riad. actually, he woke up very early to prepared our breakfast before we went to the desert!! he was really nice with us!!
everything was great! even the price.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfasts of Moroccan pastries. The riad had a good atmosphere and many nice features, including a lovely roof terrace, a lemon tree growing in the courtyard, and authentic Moroccan design features. Good value for money, very quiet and peaceful, and conveniently located.
There were extra taxes to pay which weren't included in the advertised price. The room was a little cold at night (in December) but I think this was inevitable given the building design and an electric heater and warm covers were provided. Still a good experience.
Warm welcome from Mustafa and Rashida. Really helpful with advice and guidance. Light bright riad, quiet and chilled retreat from the streets of Marrakesh. Good location, although you'll need the Riad folk to come meet you from the taxi drop off or pay a local for the short walk as it's a little hidden.
Staff was very polite.rooms beautifull!Very satisfied with the stay.
Noisy in the mornings cause of holes in the doors.but thats part of the traditional decor.Smell of drain in the bathroom. There was no Wi-fi
Location: this riad is a short walk to the Jumma El Fna, the souks, El Koutoubia, and the Jardin Marjorelle. There's no need to ever use a taxi, really. It's safe to walk alone as a female day or night. The riad host, Rachida, is the most inviting person ever. We received a warm welcome, and she provided us with information on excursions as well as a map to help guide us around the medina. The terrace is a nice private place to relax and enjoy an evening breeze. Overall, it's a good place for anyone looking stay in the heart of Marrakech and not to feel concerned about security.
NO WI-FI and NO SAFE IN ROOMS. Our room was extremely tiny - not enough room to store our luggage and move around without bumping into each other. There was a very very foul sewage smell escaping from the bathroom drains that filled the entire room. It is not a matter of the cleanliness of this riad, rather I believe it to be related to old plumbing in the medina. The owner of this riad needs to remedy this issue immediately because no one should have to smell poo period, especially when you're paying for your stay!!! We had to cover the sink drain with a cup, keep the toilet seat closed, and make sure to never leave the bath drain open. Awful awful awful odor!! Breakfast was routine (mint tea or coffee, orange juice, various breads, croissant, or cake with four different confitures and butter). It would be nice to have a choice of eggs.
Fantastic staff, all very helpful, friendly and caring. Very clean and organized Good located and perfect price/quality
The breakfast could be better
We booked this Riad because of the excellent room-rate and were not disappointed! The day-man Driss is an excellent host, the chamber maid is lovely and the breakfast they serve in the morning is traditional and delicious. If you go in high summer there is no pool but the location makes up for this and there is an excellent (and completely quiet!) waterpark outside of town. We loved Marrakech and this Riad made it a wonderfully local and adventurous experience.
On the first day it's difficult to find but Driss gives you his contact number and you can get a taxi easily for under £2 so take a phone just incase.
We were greeted on our arrival with tea and pastries, the riad had incense sticks burning away which I felt created a good atmosphere. Loved the decor of the property, plenty of food for breakfast and it was super clean. Driss & Rachida were lovely! I would recommend this as a great place to stay, not in the main hustle and bustle but with a 15 minute walk to the medina. Great price, cannot complain!
There wasn't anything that we didn't like, this is more of a recommendation. The riad had a few other guests staying but it was sooooo quiet and almost awkward to speak at a normal level. I would just recommend that they play some authentic Moroccan music for some background noise and use more incense sticks (only had them first night) to create more of a relaxed ambience. Maybe even get the water feature back up and running?
Tarrasse when you can relax and take sunbath. Good location.
Jedyne co slyszlysmy to "no problem".
Nice staff who were very helpful and interesting to talk too. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay very pleasurable
We booked Medina room that was nice... comfortable... and very clean. The personel was polite, doing its job. The breakfast was average.
We didn t really like the place... it was only 15 min walk form the main square but the area was a bit strange. So far we didnt had any problem except from local kids that wanted money for show us the riad.
The breafast is very good. There are two parking for cars very close to it. Very nice terrace!
The place was beautiful and the room spacious. Mustafa (who was in charge at night) was the best and helped as a lot with everything! The riad was really close to the center and jemaa el fna.
The breakfast was poor and same almost every day. You couldn't talk loud or take a shower after 7 am becauseyou could hear everything. As far for organization the riad was a hell. We had scheduled an mini bus from the aeroport when we arrived and when we had to leave but everything turned out wrong with us either struggling to find the riad at night time or loosing our flight. There is no doors to the bathroom and on our stay we noticed that someone had got into our rooms to paint the walls with all of our staff inside. Apart from the odor it is a matter of safety first.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The riad is in agood location from which you have easy access to the souks and to the new city. Approximately 10 minutes into the heart of the souks. Very clean and absolutely great value for money!
The staff was really nice.
Roof top, breakfast, staff and whole athmosphere was good.
No window in our room.
The hotel is a very Maroco´s stylish one, the staff are very friendly and the location is good.
The hotel is not safe - because you can not really close your room´s door - but fortunately Maroco is a safe land. And it doesn´t look enough clean - because the carpets are too old.
We liked Its old fashion charm. The staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was basic, but nice and enough to set you up for the day. The ryad is located in the middle of Medina( if you are happy to be in the thick of the action). Room was cleaned each day and kept tidy. The ryad reasonably close to number 19 bus stop, connecting to the airport , but virtually impossible to find without aid of the guide.
The open drainage smell in our bedroom from the adjoining bathroom. The bed creaks every time you move. The only opening window we had was in the bathroom which opened into the reception room(but this may be typical for this type of building)
