The riad is very well kept. Beautifully furnished, lovely terraces to hang out, refreshing plunge pool. Staff was friendly and helpful.

3 course dinner menu a bit pricey.

I really have to thank you for this wonderful holiday at Hotel&Spa Riad Dar El Aila. I really travel a lot but I never experienced such courteous staff and nicely decorated rooms. After entering the Riad after a hot day in Marrakech streets you immediately feel relaxed even if you stay in the courtyard or have a drink at the chilly Roof top terrace. Rich breakfast will always be served with a simile. Enjoy you staying at Riad Hotel & Spa Dar El Aila, it is the best place to discover Marrakech and the souks, you will never regret it!

    Good food and comfort

The Riad charged us far more than others for the same excursions/activities. Book through external sources if staying at this Riad.

Ended up being charged almost double for our stay. We tried to book a hamman for our last night but it We were too late they asked us if we wanted one for the morning but we refused as we were getting an early train. When we went to pay our bill we were informed the staff in the hamman have been waiting for is all morning they would not listen when we said we had never booked one and we were charged full price for a hamman we never booked nor could we go to. Many other great riads in marrakech pick one of them instead of this one.

Loved the peace and the cool rooms. Breakfast was fantastic, even fussy kids loved it! The staff were as helpful as possible bearing in mind that we visited on the last 2 days of Ramadan. We felt welcome and looked after.

    Nothing really.

The Tortoises and Cockatiels and stray Cats. Breakfast was o.k.

Reception staff seemed uninterested about your welfare. Poor air conditioning. No T.V Expensive Riad for such poor conditions and surroundings.

Option to have a massage/hammam. Breakfast was good. Rooftop terrace. Room was quite impressive- traditional Moroccan

For me, the location was too deep in the medina (an absolute maze). It was really hectic and wearing to get in and out of (20 minute walk to main square). No vegetarian option for dinner. Drinks available to buy were very expensive e.g. €2.50 for a can of coke

    It was authentic

Inside Medina BUT quite a maize to get to the Riad. This also meant whenever you were trying to come back from any part of the Medina it was very hard to find your way back. Also the Medina was confusing which was part of the charm.

Loved the furnishings, decor, service and breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The location. I'm not sure we would have found it if our taxi driver hadn't helped us there.

Quiet calm atmosphere with nice room garden. Most of staff were great. Room was nice and light and airy.

Breakfasts were a little below average compared to what we had been served at other roads in Morocco.

This really is a special place to stay. It's a hidden gem. A spiritual haven. I can't recommend highly enough. Staff very helpful. Discreet. Unintrusive. Brilliant. Courteous. Massage facilities are good too. Staff give you maps and tips to explore the soukes. I'll definately be back. Thanks for making it a very quirky Morrocan home. My home. Best wishes, Sandra....

    Nothing. I loved the place!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The riad is beautiful, a real oasis of calm in a busy city with lots of tucked away corners in which to sit. We went off to the Sahara for one night and were able to leave our luggage at the riad, pending our return. A real jewel of a place and the hamman and massages were fabulous too ;)

The steep steps were a bit difficult for my 71 year old mother so the riad wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility problems.

This Riad is stunning, central location and absolutely beautiful rooms. We were also lucky to get to have a look around a 2 bedroom suite that some ladies were staying in, their suite was £102 a night and was what I would describe as almost palatial in an old, authentic style.

The food was OK but not as good as the luxury that the rest of the Riad promised. The pool is very pretty but its location is a bit overlooked so I felt a little shy of using it.
