Our stay at Riad El Aila was an oasis of calm and was top notch in every way. All brilliant and great value. Highly recommended. We were very well looked after and will return.

The roof terrace is amazing! Lovely Staff, great location, overall good bang for your buck

Although very easy access to the Souks, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the main square (El Fna) which was fine for us, but may not be ideal for young children. Otherwise no complaints
We were 3 adults: Fantastic Riad offering all that you would hope for - clean & comfortable rooms, great service, small pool, lovely roof terraces and hammam/massage which we really enjoyed. Masseuse named Hanan was great! Can't wait to go back.

the staff is very nice, proper and high quality service from check in to check out. Breakfast is very good with home made items like cakes.

the staff were exceptional

No bad experience. Only small minus was that the wifi did not work in the room.
Very friendly staff. It feels like you are coming home after a day of busy Marrakesh.

przytulny taras, swietne widoki.

A bit expensive. Location a bit far from the main square of the old Medina.
Wonderful decoration in our room, at least as good as the remaining old palaces of Marrakech. Friendly staff. Useful handmade map to find our way in the old Medina.

Absolutely beautiful historical Riad. Our family room felt like we'd stepped back in time with gorgeous furniture, high ceilings and intricate tiling and woodwork in the ceilings. Yet it had all the modern conveniences too like a great hot shower and air con.
April 19, 2015
Fantastic staff who are incredibly helpful. The Riad offers transfers to and from the airport and train station. The view from the roof top is also amazing.

Calling it spa is misleading.Pool is not usable . There is not spa.

Wifi was tempramental but still good Breakfast was typically French with cakes etc. would of been good to have a cooked breakfast or just eggs.
Lovely helpful staff couldnt do enough for us as a group. So friendly. Room was great nice and spacious!! Fabulous Food

It was a bit hard to find once you hit all the tiny alleyways as everything looks the same but the map they have us was very helpful!
The staff were so helpful! They gave us a map and went through it with us, although we still got lost!

The room had 2 single beds for a couple staying there on our honeymoon.
The staff here were really wonderful, especially Amadou at the reception. The hotel was difficult to find, but the staff were very helpful in helping us get there safely. The rooms were spacious and stylish Moroccan.

... close to the important places - walking distance.... friendly statt..... well done!
April 12, 2015
This was a very welcoming riad from the moment we walked in the door. The 1st courtyard is very attractive with little staircases leading off to other levels and finishing on the beautiful, relaxing rooftop terrace with stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. The hammam and massage were a super way to round off our visit.

Might be difficult to find the hotel. A bit pushy staff - wanted to help us, and give us lots of travel info, but we were tired after long day, and our check in lasted for more than half an hour, and could have been even longer. We would be much happier if we could check in at first, rest a bit, and ask for welcoming tea, and travel advice later and on voluntary basis.
Beautiful riad, clean rooms, heavenly good hammam

In house food etc are not overly cheap.

Everything was great!
The Riad itself is beautiful, with lots of outdoor space for relaxing and a magnificent view of Marrakech and the mountains from the roof terrace. The people who work there are very kind and helpful--they gave us good advice about finding our way around the city, and helped to arrange trips to Essaouira and the Ourika Valley. We also had a few suppers at the Riad and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay there again!

The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful.

Bathroom door fell off its hinges- the rooms are beautiful, but you have to not mind a bit of 'rustic'
Fabulously calm, beautiful rooms (rustic) and wonderfully helpful staff who gave excellent advice and a great hand-made map which meant that we could find our way back to the riad when we inevitably got lost in the medina. Fabulous roof terrace!
March 31, 2015
I must be honest. The smell of cat pee! The cats (not sure who they belonged to)wandered around freely and sprayed all over the place. The area would be fine if travelling with at least one male companion because it was very intimidating for women walking around the medina.
The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The mattress very comfortable on the bed. The roof top terrace was very peaceful an escape from the noise of mopeds, taxis, and chaos in the medina below. The massage was great and excellent value for money.

Very beautiful and comfortable room with bath at very good price. Staff are all very helpful and nice and gave us a box of hand made cookies from them as present. I would say this hotel made my trip in Morocco more memorable.
March 29, 2015
The accommodation and staff were absolutely great, couldn't have asked for a more helpful people and the location and facilities of the Riad itself were great. It truly gives a real Marrakech experience to stay in a Riad.

A truely authentic, and romantic riad. Just what I had wanted. With absolutely stunning rooftop vistas overlooking the snowcapped Atlas mountains.
