The riad was wonderful, the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. They provided us with loads of great recommendations and were happy to assist with any bookings or travel arrangements. The location was great, only a 5-10 minute work from the main square and the souks. There was a taxi rank near by to help get us out to the new city too. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a highlight. I would definitely recommend.

A friendly and peaceful safe haven in the middle of a beautiful city. The riad is beautiful and so welcoming, the staff are great and fantastic guides with fluent English! I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning again!

The staff were all extremely personable and accommodating. The reccommended sights were spot on. The many areas to relax in the Riad made it a cool and comfortable oasis of calm in the busy medina. No- one seems to mind if you stick your legs in the chilly plunge pool/ fountain after a hot days walking either!

Dar El Souk was incredible and made my trip to Marrakech that much better. I would highly recommend the riad to anyone- the location, facilities, ambiance, staff- Abdul and Yassine and all the ladies were amazing. The rooftop terrace is lovely, dipping pool, meals, recommendations for Marrakech, room, location and extras were all superb!

NOTHING!- Wouldn't change a thing, it was great all around.

Lovely roof terrace, enjoyed eating breakfast there. Nice to have private seating outside the room. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Good location for the palaces and the square. We enjoyed dinner on our first night. Overall we had a great stay.

Only criticism would be that the bathroom got very hot and humid. Would benefit from a/c or dehumidifier. (not a big deal as bedroom had a/c)

The staff were amazing. With our plan delayed, we arrive at 2h am. We had a fantastic couscous prepared for us. They are doing everything to make your stay the best it could me. The riad is extremely quiet which is much appreciated after a noisy day in Marrakech. This is a little hidden paradise!

The Dar El Souk was the perfect riad for our week in Marrakech. It was so peaceful and only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Jemaa-el-Fna Square. The staff were fantastic, especially Abdul and Yassine - what attentive, young gentlemen they were!! They served us breakfast every morning wherever we wished to have it and happily booked our trips to the Atlas Mountains, Essaouira and the Hammam. We can not fault this lovely riad and would definitely stay again if we return to Marrakech!!!!!

Very well located in the medina - in a quiet street but close enough to Jemaa el Fna. Very nice rooms, delicately decorated. Amazing breakfast taken on the rooftop - unforgettable! Finally very helpful and lovely staff.

Abdul and Yassine were fantastic, always friendly and very helpful. The riad is a peaceful oasis in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Having breakfast on the roof terrace was a highlight. Our room was beautifully decorated and when they found out it was my boyfriends birthday they adorned the room with rose petals! Such a nice surprise. It is in a great location, about 5 minute walk from the main square. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Its what it is like when you get the "mix" right in this type of accommodation. The staff were attentive but not faffing around the whole time. It was one of the most peaceful places I have stayed. NO Television. A real "homely" experience.

Riad Dar el Souk made my trip to Marrakech one of my favourite to date! Excellent staff, namely Abdul/Abdahla who goes the extra mile with everything. Room was very spacious, perfect temperature with heater and air-con if needed. Beautiful Moroccan, clean bathroom. Riad as a whole is stunning - everything that you could ask for in terms of style and layout. It really is like one big, beautiful home. staff on hand 24/7 and feels very safe. Location is five minute walk from the Djemaa el Fnaa square and 3-4 minutes from Mellah roundabout with taxi rank. Will visit again.

Abdallah, the riad keeper at night is one of the most helpful people I've ever encountered.

Being an ugly American I would have loved to come to my room and watch some tv to unwind from the El Fna madness. Not gonna happen at a riad, and I understand the logic behind it.
