I really have to thank you for this wonderful holiday at Riad Dar Eliane. I really travel a lot but I never experienced such courteous staff and nicely decorated rooms. After entering the Riad after a hot day in Marrakech streets you immediately feel relaxed even if you stay in the courtyard or have a drink at the chilly Roof top terrace. Do not hesitate to order the Riad Dar Eliane menu and enjoy the marrocan food on the Roof top terrace. You will like the yummy dessert! Rich breakfast will always be served with a simile even if you have to catch a early flight in the morning:-) Enjoy you staying at Riad Dar Eliane, it is the best place to discover Marrakech and the souks, you will never regret it!

The time in Riad Dar Eliane went by too fast...

The breakfast was terrific (would recommend if weather is nice to eat on the rooftop terrace) and the Riad was close enough to the square. The rooms were very well designed and looked amazing!

Other reviews have already said this, but the place is difficult to find at first. Once you've been there, finding your way back is not too difficult. The layout of the Riad is such that you can hear most of what is going on in the common areas.

The welcome was lovely and the staff were very pleasant.

Perhaps it was because it was out of season or perhaps it is just not one of the more popular raids but it lacked atmosphere. It was also extremely cold in the evening something that was not so apparent at the other raids I stayed at during the same week. I think a bit more effort needs to be put into making guests want to spend time in the communal areas during the evening as it felt like a dark empty house with no inviting atmosphere.

Staff were extremely helpful as we had a few dilemmas to solve. Beautiful decor!

Nightmare to find - but they will send someone to meet you if necessary.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Beautiful decor. They arranged a pickup from the airport for both me and my wife who arrived separately and we were both safely guided to the door of the riad. We were welcomed with a delicious dinner in a lovely upstairs dining area. Overall it's an incredible value and wish we could have stayed longer, but they were booked for the weekend.

The shower was not quite warm, not quite cold, but on a cool winter night it was tough to bear. The english communication before arriving was difficult over the phone, but contact thru email was better and they were always quick to respond.

A beautiful riad - the rooms were spacious, very clean and so comfortable! The whole hotel is small, but perfect - with a courtyard, and a quiet roof terrace. Breakfast was very good - and we ate in the riad one night, which was also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. In terms of location, as well, it was great to be in the heart of the medina - chaotic, of course, but that made a return back to the riad even more wonderful at the end of each day!

Be aware that - like all hotels in the medina - you can't access it directly by taxi. It's not a far walk to places where you can pick up taxis, but note that - when you arrive and leave - you have to pay a porter to take your luggage to the riad (on top of your taxi fare).

The riad was very traditional and the staff was very accomodating. I would most definitely recommend the stay for the price and the location. The riad was walking distance to everything!

The staff were incredible, very helpful with anything we needed. The rooms were cleaned every day and were immaculate, with the most comfortable beds imaginable! Great breakfast every morning and we could decide where we wanted to eat it each day, roof terrace being the best option! Its in a perfect location, you can walk straight to the main square in 10 minutes. Slimman a guy working at the riad made our stay extra special, and within a day it felt like we were staying with friends. Very "home" feelings. I would recommend this Riad to anyone and everyone. It's absolutely wonderful!

Our pre-arranged taxi was difficult to find at the airport.

The location is great to visit the Medina! They include the breakfast and help with the taxi shuttle to the airport.

The riad's interior yard is home for some birds that make a lot of noise in the morning and will wake you up at 7 a.m everyday! The lock of our room door didn't seamed safe and actually we found the door unlocked once. Insufficient light in the room.

Once found...not forgotten. We were only here for a couple nights but the overall experience was very good. This was our first time in Marrakech so a bit it was all a bit daunting especially finding the place. Slimman was very helpful and friendly and provided us with good instructions and a map which we definitely needed. The breakfast was good and service excellent.

Everything was great. We stayed in ten different hotels/riads in Morocco, and this one was the nicest overall (and one of the most affordable).

    The coffee served with breakfast.

Room was clean. Breakfast was excellent

The rooms were so dark, that reading was difficult and depressive. I would never want to stay in the marakech medina again, as we felt unsafe. The medina is a dirty maze

The riad was very clean and the staff were brilliant. Bushra the owner was very helpful in resolving an issue with our taxi driver who started shouting at us when we refused to pay when he tried to overcharge us considerabley. I would definately recommend this riad, it is close to the main square and souks but you will probabley get lost with all the alleys interconnecting around the souks, however you will slowly get a feel of the area.

We did find that we were harassed quite a bit by the souk shop people which made the experience less enjoyable. We were two women travellers.

Beautiful, well kept rooms. The breakfast was delicious. The owner was nice - picked us up at another riad when were lost, took us to the taxi transfer to the airport.

No reception area so hard to know where to find the owner/worker when you need help. Would have been nice if some excursions/ activities were explained to us in advance.
