The moment you want to pay your bill with a credit card, as specified in your reservation, they strongly require you to pay cash and when you refuse, they have you waiting one hour for a boy who knows how to operate the machine. And they don’t even say sorry. Unacceptable!!!!
Close to djama el fna
Pictures are deceptive, staff was not caring and sometimes rude. Place is difficult to find, not signposted, no help with getting the luggage from the car which had to be parked publicly rather far way. When we were there the the restaurant was closed. Contrary to what is indicated on the website they did not want creditcards.
Friendly staff; first rate cuisine; beautiful building and luxurious facilities; ideal location.
Great location, great value. Fabulous breakfast, incredibly friendly staff.
Not a fancy place, but very comfortable. We also stayed in a nicer riad, but at triple the price.
We loved being at the ryad DAR. Fakir. It felt like being at home. It is warmly decorated. The staff was extremely helpful and nice.
I wish the coffee was better. Also please vary the breakfast menu. Eating the same thing everyday becomes tiring after a couple of days. Don' t bring your three year old there especially if he or she is lively. We did fine but felt bad we were making too much noise.
We would recommend Dar Fakir to anyone! There wasn't a thing we didn't like about it! It was beautiful, affordable, perfect location, wonderful meals, and excellent staff! Five stars!
The service was superb. The staff was outstanding and this is necessary when staying in the Medina of Marrakesh.
the electrical system was scary bad. This caused poor lighting, inability to charge phones etc.
