We loved our stay at Riad Dar More. We felt at ease and coming back to the Riad after busy days in the souks was a real comfort. The staff were helpful, attentive, friendly and professional. The meals were delicious and the atmosphere whilst sitting on the roof terrace was special. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the souks. I would highly recommend staying here.
There may be some areas of maintenance but on the whole a great Riad.
Very nice, modern and clean dar. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Convenient location.
Could use new bedding and more comfortable mattress.
It is in the center. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Very confortable bed, larg rooms. Very good breakfast.
No air-conditioning and no TV. The Riad is small.
What a find this little Riad was. It's really comforting to know that after a day in hectic Marrakech you can retire to such a peaceful place. The air con is amazing, the wifi is good and the food served is also lovely and cooked fresh for you there and then. The staff were really helpful with directions around the city too. We stayed in two different rooms as we stayed at the beggining and end of our trip and we loved them both. A really lovely place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! We can't wait to stay again.
There are no TV's in the rooms but in a city like Marrakech who needs a TV! The Riad is tricky to find when you first arrive, if you book a transfer through the Riad it's €20 and the driver usually has someone waiting with a cart to take your luggage and show you the way! (This costs extra too)! Don't be worried by this though, everyone is very friendly.
In hectic Marrakech it was an amazing comfort to know that Riad Dar More was never far away for some peace and serenity (it has a wonderful well maintained roof terrace). Our room was small and basic but more than enough. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. We have booked to stay at this Riad again at the end of our stay. Give this place a chance, it does not disappoint.
It's quite tucked away in a little street but the hotel provides maps free of charge and they are always happy to direct. Once you find your way around it's a walk in the park.
Riad Dar More was ideally situated for us. It is a 5 minute walk to Djemaa el-Fna. It is quiet, clean and the staff are fantastic! Saeed (Manager) is most welcoming and we found his advice as new visitors to Marrakech very helpful. Breakfast is a delight. We had dinner there on our first day. Malika cooked a splendid meal that matched any meal that we ate elsewhere. Unfortunately, it is way over priced. We would eat dinner at the Riad everyday if the price was more competitive because the setting, the staff and the outlook from the rooftop terrace is ideal after a day Marrakech madness!
Location was central, easy walk to the main square and markets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the Riad was the best meal we had during our time in Morocco. A little piece of paradise in Marrakesh. Great place to unwind after a day out. We were able to stay at the Riad after checking out which was great as our flight was leaving late that night. There is a staff member at the Riad 24/7. We went out for dinner and a show one night and someone waited up for us to get back, very comforting!
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating; our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and stylish. The price made everything even better. We had a great stay!
Location and Roof Terrace
There was a problem with the Riad Dar More on the first night so the driver that picked us up from the airport took us to another Riad. We were ok with this as we were just happy to get away! When we returned to Marrakech after a few days of trekking we went back to Riad Dar More. It was only when we arrived there we realised that it is was a lot nicer than where we had been taken to the first night! When it came to paying, the manager tried to charge me more than what we had thought we were paying in Riad Dar More for the first night even though the place was not as nice. He became quite cheeky when I asked for the price to be reduced. It resulted in him taking 10 Euro off our bill which I don't think was a fair reduction!
Beautiful place, excellent customer service! Lovely rooms and great breakfast (breads, pancakes and tea/coffee/juice). Nice roof terrace as well!
Air con broke but staff quickly changed rooms for us when they found out. Slightly difficult to find in the first place though, but nicely placed in the medina.
Nicely tucked away from the noise and lights. But quick enough to get into the main old city.
The riad was very close to the main square and tourist sites. The best aspects of this riad are the cleanliness and the caring, friendly characters who make you feel welcome and at home. There's no need to stay in some boring regular hotel when you can stay somewhere such as this. Said, Mailka and the others will always smile and be willing to chat and help you out. The only very very very minor negative is that you can't get wifi on the roof terrace but when you're in such a nice place, who cares! They deserve a great recommendation. Thanks guys for your kind service and help during my visit x
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
It is difficult to reach the hotel. You need a guide to reach it 20 DRH.
The staff was great, an excellent Riad. Would definitely go back there when visiting Marrakech again!! Perfect location as well.
The overall feel was excellent. Great location and nice accommodation
The charge for the airport pickup (€20) is far too expensive
Very small riad. You have lots of noise. Roof terrasse was not very tidy. Glad I was only their for one night. To expensive for what you get. Not good finish. Would not go back.
The manager Said was amazing; he was so helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Malika the cook makes an awesome beef tagine and is also very friendly and welcoming. The location was great for the main square and souks.
The Riad is close to the mosque so the first call to prayer at dawn was very loud. The Riad is beautifully decorated but the rooms are quite small, and my room didn't have a window so it got quite stuffy even with the a/c on.
- initial tried to Influence my Review by pushing for excellent _ contacting me after my stay, why I haven't submitted my review. First time 4 hours after Receiving the request. Followed by multiple intentions to contact me. - After submitting my review, started stalking me multiple times per week
Riad dar more is in the middle of the shopping area located in a quiet, well lit, safe alley . The rooms are comfortable, clean and the staff are excellent and friendly. Said the manager is at hand for anything you need and made us so welcome when we arrived. The Riad is beautiful and calming after a busy day out. Breakfast inside or on the roof was great, fresh orange juice, pancakes, eggs , bread, honey, jam, coffee what more do you want! We also had an evening meal at the Riad and the food was amazing!! Said waited on us on the roof terrace and nothing was too much for him. We were four women travelling alone and this was perfect for our stay .
Terrific hosts with clean and tidy riad tucked away from all of the craziness of the city. Very kind hosts and we felt at home and welcome during our stay. Great value for money.
Wifi was weak in the room, so it wasn't reliable during our stay. This is unfortunate considering the dearth of wifi hotspots in the city.
The manager Said was an excellent host who really helped us organise excursions in and out of Marrakech. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.
Beautiful riad in an excellent location
The room is totally close when you close the door, there is no any window so it was smelly inside the room after shower.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly to us when we arrived, and helped us to carry our luggage to upstairs.
Wifi didn't work, but my PC hasn't problem but there were some network problem between us. Other customers could use wifi.
