The breakfast was very good, and the staff extremely helpful. A very nice and quite hotel but only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of marakech. Well worth the money!!!
Such a lovely surprise ! After walking down narrow and even narrower alleys ,a sturdy metal door opened to an Alladins wonder world !! Trees .flowers ,drapes ,paintings, lamps, comfortable beds and couches, wonderful food and hospitality ! Don't miss it !!
Beautiful peaceful ambience. Attractive courtyard. Breakfast in the winter sunshine on the roof terrace was delicious.
Hotel's credit card machine was not working so had to go out to bank to change cash to pay the bill.
Staff were excellent Location just perfect Facilities excellent Great decor - traditional Lovely fresh breakfast Nothing too much trouble at all Highly reccomend this place Great value for money too... It's located down a side street and difficult to find without a guide
Bed was noisy every time you moved, old wooden four poster needs changing... Towels were small and poor quality but adequate
Great location, beautiful rooms arranged around a lovely peaceful courtyard, lovely roof terrace with lots of seating, delicious breakfast, staff are very discreet but always there and helpful when you need anything. We stayed in the ground floor suite which has a cosy seating alcove, a lovely big bathroom with an enormous bath and is beautifully decorated in the Moroccan style with many original features. Just wonderful.
Everything about it! The best time! Will book again and again.
really beautiful riad, great location and very kind staff, rooms are so beautiful and has great atmosphere. Terrace is nice and food was excelent.
It is hard to find, be careful about "guides". And better call them when you arrive to the medina
the riad was beautiful, staff polite and helpful, lovely cool respite from the city. Breakfast was lovely too!
there was a bit of a smell in the room in the mornings from the sink I think
Be aware - The Riad booked us a 'taxi' to take us to the airport early in the morning, they told us our pick up was at the arch gate at end of street, however when we reached the end of our lane a man was waiting there and said he was our taxi - HE WAS NOT and he tried to rip us off. If you book a taxi through the Riad make sure you look out for a black van NOT a yellow taxi.
Comfortable - but authentic and traditional. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great location in heart of Medina.
No outdoor pool - that would have detracted from authenticity. A lot of stairs - but that is simply because I have bad knees.
RIAD DAR MOUASSINE HAD EVERYTHING ANY TRAVELLER TO MARRAKECH COULD WANT. OWNERS LOVELY, ACCOMMODATION FANTASTIC, BREAKFAST FANTASTIC, LOCATION FANTASTIC
CAN'T FAULT THIS RIAD BASED ON THIS EXPERIENCE.
Amid the fantastic, chaotic, mad city was the beautiful, cool and serene Riad Dar Mouassine. The whole experience felt like being in a Graham Greene novel, I loved it.
This Riad was beautiful. We had the large room off of the courtyard on the first floor. The room was beautiful and very clean. The location was great too, just a 5 minute walk to the Djemma El Fna and from there it was only a short walk to places like the Bahia palace and the Saadian tombs.
Moroccan breakfasts are nothing too exciting and the one at this road was no exception. That said, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything to write home about. Also, this is probably because we were right off of that beautiful courtyard, but we did have a cockroach in our bathroom one morning. This riad was very clean though, so I think it had to do with the fact that there was a window to that courtyard that opens into the bathroom.
The riad was well located, for easy access to outer city but also quiet within the wall. It was easy to walk to the main square and meander around the market stalls. The staff were helpful and breakfast homemade and delicious.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Riad Dar Mouassine for 4 nights while in Marrakech and we had an absolutely fantastic time here! The Riad is beautiful with relatively traditionally decor compared with the other places we stayed which we loved. Its in an excellent location just a few minutes walk through the souks from the main square which was perfect for us as we would come back to the wee pool in the middle of the day when it was really hot. All the staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful and made it a really great stay. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!! A++++
Everything, awesome atmosphere
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and courtyard. Nice plunge pool and wonderful sun deck. Genuine riad, very enjoyable place to stay.
Some of the fittings in the bathroom, such as shower head holder were broken, and seperate soap for hand basin would have been good, but only minor issue really.
beautiful, large rooms in traditional style. Amazing view from patio. Helpfull staff. One of them is speaking very good english
David and his staff went above and beyond to help us with all our enquiries. He even arranged a taxi to Imlil for us at a dirt cheap price and walked our luggage out to the taxi for us. Would definitely recommend this riad to anyone.
On arrival it was very difficult to find the riad on our own, when we exited our taxi a man offered to take us there and then charged us 15 euro for the 5 minute walk, just be wary and negotiate prices of anything and everything before you accept a service, even if you think they are just trying to be helpful.
Very quirky, cute and staff were so kind
Really central but a little hard to find because of lack of sign posts
location excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble
I felt at home. Friendly, welcoming and kind staff. Very centrally located in the medina but fantastically silent inside the riad. I would strongly recommend this riad to visit Marrakech.
The roof terrace was lovely and our room was nicely secluded (we were off to the side of the Riad rather than around the central structure) and very nicely furnished.
Unfortunately the pool was drained during our stay (April)
Location was nice & the decor was interesting. Owner was very helpful in helping us locate a car for hire. Overall, good experience.
Waited for tea to be serviced instead of being brought directly to our rooms first.
- It felt like a home away - Attentive but discreet staff - Probably the best of Moroccan hospitality
I couldn't get the wifi signal in the room
