RIAD DAR MOUASSINE HAD EVERYTHING ANY TRAVELLER TO MARRAKECH COULD WANT. OWNERS LOVELY, ACCOMMODATION FANTASTIC, BREAKFAST FANTASTIC, LOCATION FANTASTIC
CAN'T FAULT THIS RIAD BASED ON THIS EXPERIENCE.
Amid the fantastic, chaotic, mad city was the beautiful, cool and serene Riad Dar Mouassine. The whole experience felt like being in a Graham Greene novel, I loved it.
The riad was well located, for easy access to outer city but also quiet within the wall. It was easy to walk to the main square and meander around the market stalls. The staff were helpful and breakfast homemade and delicious.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Riad Dar Mouassine for 4 nights while in Marrakech and we had an absolutely fantastic time here! The Riad is beautiful with relatively traditionally decor compared with the other places we stayed which we loved. Its in an excellent location just a few minutes walk through the souks from the main square which was perfect for us as we would come back to the wee pool in the middle of the day when it was really hot. All the staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful and made it a really great stay. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!! A++++
Everything, awesome atmosphere
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and courtyard. Nice plunge pool and wonderful sun deck. Genuine riad, very enjoyable place to stay.
Some of the fittings in the bathroom, such as shower head holder were broken, and seperate soap for hand basin would have been good, but only minor issue really.
beautiful, large rooms in traditional style. Amazing view from patio. Helpfull staff. One of them is speaking very good english
David and his staff went above and beyond to help us with all our enquiries. He even arranged a taxi to Imlil for us at a dirt cheap price and walked our luggage out to the taxi for us. Would definitely recommend this riad to anyone.
On arrival it was very difficult to find the riad on our own, when we exited our taxi a man offered to take us there and then charged us 15 euro for the 5 minute walk, just be wary and negotiate prices of anything and everything before you accept a service, even if you think they are just trying to be helpful.
Very quirky, cute and staff were so kind
Really central but a little hard to find because of lack of sign posts
location excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble
I felt at home. Friendly, welcoming and kind staff. Very centrally located in the medina but fantastically silent inside the riad. I would strongly recommend this riad to visit Marrakech.
The roof terrace was lovely and our room was nicely secluded (we were off to the side of the Riad rather than around the central structure) and very nicely furnished.
Unfortunately the pool was drained during our stay (April)
Location was nice & the decor was interesting. Owner was very helpful in helping us locate a car for hire. Overall, good experience.
Waited for tea to be serviced instead of being brought directly to our rooms first.
- It felt like a home away - Attentive but discreet staff - Probably the best of Moroccan hospitality
I couldn't get the wifi signal in the room
Location amazing, sooo close and easy to get to jma el fnaa
Not enough ventilation for cigarette smoke
Great place to stay.
What a wonderful place to have your holiday. The staff are excellent .
Very friendly staff, lovely roof terrace
No running water for 2 half days, quite nousy in the afternoon- eveything in the inner yard sounds like it is in your room
We loved this riad very much. The staff was so kind and lovely and helped us with everything. The atmosphere here was so warm and relaxed. I wish we could have stayed longer. I will definitley book this riad again if I come back. During the holiday we stayed at three different riads and this was definitely our favorite.
A beautiful riad in the Medina. The rooms were elegant, comfortable, and well-kept. The staff was the absolute best I have ever encountered on my travels. I would definitely recommend the Riad Dar Mouassine to anyone visiting Marrakech.
Such a beautiful riad - amazing rooms with antique furniture and stunning terrace, delicious breakfast, perfect location close to the square and souks but lovely and quiet inside, staff were friendly and helpful. Loved it.
Would have loved the pool to be open, but fair enough I guess as it was cold for them!
Rooms and riad courtyard were very beautiful - amazing hand painted ceilings in our bedroom! Staff were both helpful and very friendly (thanks Fatima!). Close to the souks and Jmaa el Fnaar square. Lovely roof terrace where we were able to eat (breakfast) and relax.
The lavatory and cupboards in our bedroom were in a separate room up some steep steps which might be tricky for some people to get to but not a big problem for us - only a minor gripe!
- very large rooms in a traditional setting - lovely inner court and rooftop terrace - personal treatment by the staff
- administration: staff doesn't know exactly how to handle payments by credit card (it's better to pay with cash)
Friendly staff Awesome location Wonderful to be able to stay for the day after checking out
Wifi signal not in room and very weak on roof terrace Every day the exact same breakfast
