Small problem with the tub drainage, which was a bit clogged.
Breakfast could have been a bit more varied, though the traditional pancake/ bread served there, - cooked on the spot - was one of the best that I had during my stay in Morocco.
The eternal problem with the Wifi signal, very poor in the room, but good in the common areas.
The patron was a bit dismissive. He insisted that we pay in cash for the two days spent there, arguing that it is possible to pay by card only for longer stays.
I assume he wanted to avoid paying various commissions or, moreover, to avoid paying fiscal tax. Although we knew we were entitled to pay by card, we decided not to insist more on the matter and withdraw money.
The hotel has a good and facile location, springing from Rue Sidi el-Yamani - one of the main ones within the madina - at decent distance from the madina walls so that you do not get completely lost while looking for it...
It is a classic ryad, not too fancy and not too poor, perfect as a budget-to-mid range choice. Good value money.
The room was clean and proper, of good size, with working air conditioning, and with a maid that would change sheets every day, definitely a plus in Morocco.
The caretaker, which was not the owner, accompanied by the maid - basically the only two persons taking care of the place - were extremely helpful and nice. The two of them, and not the patron, that we saw not more than 5 minutes during our entire stay, deserve all the credit for our nice time spent there.
