Wonderful building. Excellent location. Very nice staff.

Not much. The oldish bathroom may not be to everybody's state, and temperatures can be lowish in March so we made full use of the electric heaters provided.
The staff was great and really helpful. Mint tea was delicisous, and so was the food. Internet was fast.

Impossible to find something bad!
Beautifull location, very close to the beginning of the Medina. The room in the Riad was gorgeous, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly made pastries by the wonderfull chef. Thanks to Azedinne who worked their, our stay was truly magnificent! Thank you all for making our stay so great! We hope to visit again soon.

No bad experiences--I regret not speaking better French so as to communicate well with the staff. The manager (Hind) speaks many languages, including English. Wifi does not work everywhere, but works well in the main courtyard.
Attentive staff. Clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the heaters in our room! Convenient location (easy to find)...walking distance to souks, restaurants, Mellah, museum, and Carrefour store. A huge array of food at breakfast. Lots of places to sit and relax...indoor courtyard with the parrot (which loves to have its head scratched) or on one of the two rooftop terraces. Our room was a bit quirky, and we have given the manager some suggestions for improvement, e.g hooks or rods for towels in bathroom, shelves or low cabinets on which to put luggage, small tables with lamps on each side of the bed, and an accessible rack with hangers (the built-in closet is too high!) Note that this property only accepts cash, either Moroccan Dirham or Euros.

- wifi should be improved since it is available only in common areas
- staff is extremely polite, discreete and kind - position is very good, close to a square and very easy to reach by taxis - rooms are comfortable and provided with air conditioning - the building is wonderful and there is a great view from the terrace

I love this Riad and its staff!! The manager - the lady was adorable, she suggested us (my friend and I) all useful thing about the city and trips outside. I really recommend this place. Clean and confortable! In the Medina but very very safe!

the most delicious coffee of the Morocco hotels. more convenient location than inside of medina.

Very friendly staff! Fresh and the most delicious breakfast we had in our one month holiday in Morocco. The riad is in a quiet and easy to find street. Our taxi driver dropped us off at the top of the street and it was a 50m ( straight ) walk to the riad door. We highly recommend Riad Dar Skalli for your stay in Fez.

The Dinner was amazing, even better than any Restaurants we sampled in Fes. The day before we had dinner at the Riad, we went to a place recommended by the Manager (and one of the staff walked us there), and that was really really good, so we were pleasantly surprised when dinner in the Riad was even better. The staff in this hotel were the friendliest we experienced on our 5-hotel jaunt across Morocco. Good aircon. Lovely decor (especially the bathroom).

Nothing to say here
Karim and his wife are both lovely and very helpful. The staff are so friendly. The whole place is comfy and the rooftop terrace is a great spot to enjoy some afternoon sunshine and a nice breeze. My daughter did the cooking class (in French) and thought it was lots of fun. Its an easy place to find - from Place Batha take the first street on the right after the fountain, then the first on the left and about 100 metres down the slope. Easy to find good places to eat at the Blue Gate nearby - go down the street on the left of the post office in Place Batha.

I realised only the first morning that there should be a perrot somewhere, because I heard his voice, but I couldn't see him. Then I found him shut in a dark room without any windows or light, next to the court. I told the nice maid to please bring him out and please give him fresh water. Then we went for a day trip and came back around 6pm. He was already shut in the very dark room, because he was talking too much, as I got to know from the owner. It means that when we were there the perrot spent minimum 14 hours in the dark room. It is a lovely african grey perrot,a very intelligent and kind one who likes to be caressed. If you go to this riad, please ask for the perrot to be brought out. Maybe the owners realise that he is an important part of their beautiful riad and all the guests like him.
The riad is georgeous, it is like a small palace. The room was very clean, it had a nice terrace. The stuff was helpful and friendly, we liked the breakfast as well. The location is also very good, it is close to the Bab Boujloud. We liked everything except for the way they treated the lovely talking perrot they have. I really recommend this riad, especially for perrot lovers.
