The location was great and the lady running the place was sweet and attentive. The breakfast was nice.
the staff are very welcoming and the location is perfect. The building is lovely and it is great to have breakfast on the roof terrace.
The breakfast was far too large the first day. Second just right. Third far too small. The coffee also seemed to be rationed! I stayed in January so it was cool at night. The heating was not so good, although I did manage to find an additional duvet which stopped me from being cold in bed. wifi seemed to be turned off at certain times.
Staff, Abdoul, really makes the place. He's so helpful and friendly, that he makes the riad feel like home. This being my entry point to Morocco, his warm welcome made a terrific first impression. Room was spacious and nice.
Bathroom can get cold at night and in the early morning. There's certainly hot water, but until they warm up the bathroom, it can be quite chilly to stand there.
Abdul at the reception made my solo travel a better experience. He made me feel very welcome to Marrakech and dispensed very important tips to make the best out of my journey. I recommend Riad Dar Tamlil for the incredible location, just 1 minute walk from the great Palce Jeema El Fna.
very friendly personal, good room.
Be ready to hear everything in your room - bathroom & WC is not good isolated
stanza troppo piccola
The staff was great. Location was perfect. Place was very clean and quiet.
Our air conditioning didn't work very well so it was a bit hot in our room.
Location, rooftop terrace
No internet, no proper wall between room and toilette
5 mins to the Jemma el fina square.clean room
-The hosts, Hannan and Abdul Latif were super friendly and helpful. Exceptional service especially Abdul Latif. He gave us honest recommendations, made great mint tea, ensured that we know what price we should be paying for. -The Riad was small (4 rooms only) but the rooms are the right size and its feels comfy and cosy.
-Wifi was fast but reception is strong only at ground floor. Need to improve the wifi reception to the rooms upstairs and the terrace. -The room we stayed in after our sahara tour has a foul smell coming from the toilet drain hole. We simply covered the hole with the place mat but could be improved for other guests.
The staff were very friendly and welcomed us with tea although we arrived pretty late. Also, they served us breakfast considerably earlier than the normal schedule when we had to leave to catch our morning train.
We found it a bit weird that there was no bathroom door, only a curtain.
Great location, within 5 min walking distance of the Jemaa el fna square. Beautiful rooftop terrace, a nice, clean room and great reception. Especially Abdul was very kind!
Excellent stay. Dar Tamlil is very close to Jemaa el Fna, very cute and clean, has friendly staff (especially Abdul) and beautiful traditional rooms. Doors lock. There is Wi-Fi. The breakfast is free and plentiful. Directions are clear, no need to use guides from the square. And all in all, Dar Tamlil is so cheap! Excellent value, great experience.
Wi-Fi signal was really weak in the room and nonexistent on the terrace.
Riad Dar Tamlil is excellent value for money. It's very easy to find, about 200 yards from the main square. Abdul and Hannan, the 2 staff members which we encountered were really friendly and helpful. Our room (no.2) was really spacious and clean. Nice terrace on the roof, where our breakfast was taken. All in all, we had a great break and would highly recommend this Riad.
Thanks to both the staff at Tamlil. The riad was like a tranquil oasis in the wonderful bedlam of Marrakesh. We loved the pretty tiling, the beautiful courtyard and the rooms were nice and clean with comfy beds and nice bedding. The breakfasts were generous and fresh, and both staff were really accommodating to our needs, I would definitely stay there again.
I would've liked tea facilities in room but staff happily made me tea when I asked.
Excellent location. Breakfast on the patio was a nice treat. Were able to leave our luggage there while we toured city before going airport.
The electric heater was preset and didn't warm up the room sufficiently at night because it only came on occasionally.
The Riad is a 10 minute walk to Jemma El- Fnaa. It is quite and the rood terrace is quaint place to eat breakfast and to relax. We were able to leave our suitcases in the foyer until we were ready to leave for the airport.
The rooms are very damp and cold at night. The electric heater which was set at 19C didn't warm up the room adequately because the heater only came on for a few minutes at a time.
