Riad Darna  

The hotel is very good. It is located very close to the main square. Upon arrival, it was difficult to find a hotel we have helped local residents and asked for money for it. The amount was not large and can be traded. After finding the hotel was not difficult. Very easy! Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We enjoyed this hotel.

In the description of the hotel written about the free tea and cake. Cake was not. Check-out when we were asked to pay for the tea. Although the description says that it is free.

Riad Darna is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the Marrakech Medina. The staff were very helpful and the room was beautifully decorated. We had a meal especially cooked for us, from their menu, at the Riad. It was delicious.

The pillows were small and lumpy and the mattress dipped in the middle.This is a warning to people visiting Marrakech and has nothing to do with this hotel. If you a wandering around the medina and souks be aware of 'touts' who offer you help to find where they think you want to go. They expect payment if they guide you there and when you tell them NO they verbally abuse you. If you do end up being guided to some place and don't pay them what they expect they almost throw the money back at you.

Riad Darna var akkurat det vi håpte det skulle være. Et nydelig lite "paradis" midt inne i medinaen av Marakkech. Herlig personale. Vi bodde på "blue room", koselig og romantisk. Hotellet eller gjestgiveriet er enkelt men eksotisk. Ønskes en anderledes langhelg som vi ønsket, er Riad Darna supert. PS. husk å bestille taxi gjennom hotellet ved ankomst, det fungerer glimrende, og vi tror ikke vi hadde funnet frem på egen hånd. Når det er sagt, glimrende utgangspunkt for utallige turer inn i soukhene og torget.

Ceci n'est donc pas une reclamation: le personnel est desagreable ( je parle du responsable) ils sont d'une mauvaise fois incroyable! Ils sont soit disant venus chercher mes parents a l'aeroport, eux ont attendu en vain une heure et demi. Il parait qu'ils ont exigé de deux jeunes filles qu'elles payent le taxi de l'hotel car il etait aller les chercher alors qu'elles voulaient se debrouiller par leurs propres moyens et qu'elles les avaient prevenu. Ils ont gardés les passeport de mes parents en les menaçant de ne pas leur rendre s'ils ne payaient pas leur sejour

Un cadre authentique, un emplacement de choix à deux minutes de la place Jemaa el Fna. Un grand merci à Hicham pour sa gentillesse et son dévouement qui ne sait quoi faire pour rendre votre séjour mémorable. La cuisine est excellente...bien supérieure à ce que l'on peut trouver en ville, et je parle en connaisseur ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Der Innenhof und die Dachterrasse sind wirklich wunderschön. Direkt neben den Souks.

Die Lage vom Riad ist ein großer Minuspunkt. Tagsüber gelangt man druch die Souks auf den Hauptplatz Jeema el Fna. Das ist zwar sehr spannend aber manchmal auch nervig, weil man in den engen und überfüllten Gassen alle 2m von einem Verkäufer angequatscht wird. Problematisch wird es allerdings nach 19Uhr, da dann die Souks schliessen und der Hauptzugang zum Riad gesperrt ist. Dann kann man nurnoch über Umwege im Labyrinth von Marrakesch sein Riad suchen, was meiner Meinung nach unmöglich ist ohne sich zu Verlaufen. Das kann dann auch mal ganzschön unheimlich und gefährlich werden. Als Frau alleine auf keinen fall buchen!!!!!! Im Riad selbst spricht man nur Französisch und kein Wort Englisch. Die Zimmer wurden nur nach Aufforderung geputzt. Am Ende wurden wir sogar noch richtig Abgezockt, weil die versprochenen "Inklusivleistungen" am Ende doch nicht mehr Inklusive waren??!?!?!? Nach langer und hitziger Diskussion mit dem Inhaber wurde dann ein Teil der Extrakosten erlassen. Trotzdem haben wir 1/3 mehr bezahlt als bei Booking.com gebucht. Jedes kleine bisschen musste Extra bezahlt werden, Z.b Ein Transportzuschlag zum Flughafen, weil unser Flug um 7 Uhr morgends ging. Alles in allem ist das Riad nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt bessere, Z.b Das Riad Chalymar in das wir dann gewechselt haben - ist ein Traum.

Ottimo Riad in posizione centrale per la visita della città.Terrazza davvero incantevole.Purtroppo non puoi arrivarci con l'auto.Staff gentile e disponibile.

Mancanza di climatizzazione nella camera, nonchè di telefono interno per chiamare la reception (considera un eventuale urgenza).

Se trata de un hotel acogedor muy cerca de la plaza Yamaa El Fna con una relación calidad/precio bastante buena.

Que el agua no sale casi caliente, a decir verdad no se puede decir que sea tibia, siquiera.

Le Riad Darna est très beau, le personnel est fantastique, serviable et accueillant et cuisinent d'excellents repas! Le Riad Darna, bien que difficile à trouver (prenez le transfert de l'aéroport) est idéalement situé dans la ville. Ce n'est qu'à quelques minutes de marche de la Place Jemaa el Fna et de plusieurs autres attractions de la ville.

Le bruit de la Mosquée la nuit. Et les chambres pourraient être un peu mieux équipée et confortables...

Very sweet Riad in the medina of Marrakesch, good breakfast with Maroccan crepes, fresh bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee, friendly and attentive employees

Impossible to find by yourself, ask the Riad to pick you up at the Cafe de la France on the place Djemaa el Fna (5 minutes to go from the place to the Riad), no parking place at the hotel (although mentioned in the descrption of booking) as cars are not allowed to enter the Medina, bed was not comfortable in chambre jaune, noisy as rooms are situated around a court, no door to the bathroom which is not very romantic
