The Riad Misria is near the Médina and minutes from the Marrakech museum and the famous Jeema el Fna square. It features a hammam, massage treatments and fitness area.
Score from 147 reviews Very good
The food served at dinner was always incredible. You could definitely taste the authenticity and the menu changed daily so you knew you were getting fresh and non massed produced meals. Riad was beautifully decorated and the rooftop a delightful escape from the streets.
Not the softest pillows but still slept well each night
Location out of the square so easily get lost in the surrounding streets which are mostly unpleasant
Was great and amazing! Safe, staff were friendly and really went out the way to help. I fell ill on the second day but the staff were excellent in helping with medicine, tea etc. all the time! Great stay, great rooms, truly a luxury experience!
The staff really were excellent - attentive, helpful and approachable. They made us feel very welcome and offered lots of tips and advice for our time in the country.
The only thing I would say could be improved is the wifi, pretty slow.
For price quality is very high
The interior was nice, with space to relax. The roof terrace had amazing views. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The pictures of the pool are very deceptive - you can't possibly go swimming at the Riad! This is common for Riads, but the deceptive photos led us to think that we had found an exception, and consequently we sacrificed on location, and paid over the odds given the below average location. Also I personally didn't like the breakfast very much - lots of variations on bread and cake and not much else!
Very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel really welcome. We also had the benefit of an upgraded room as the trip was a present for my daughter's 21st Birthday - a nice surprise. The Riad is in a good location within walking distance to all the places of interest. The roof terrace was really lovely with lots of different places to relax and dine. A good breakfast is served on the terrace each morning with great views across the city. I would definitely recommend this Riad and stay again in the future.
The only slight downside was that it was a little noisy early in the morning when the cleaners were moving the chairs around on the terrace as this could be heard above us in our room. However, other rooms may not experience this.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were so friendly and informative. The Riad was clean and beautiful. Breakfasts were good and the one evening meal we had was very good. It is in a great location, in the middle of everything but still a great quiet hideaway. The massages and Hamman in the Riad were so relaxing. Excellent value for money.
-night staff were rude and unaccommodating. I asked for a wake up call and he asked me to set up my cell phone alarm! He would not let me print from the computer until I insisted. The location is very bad and unknown to many cab drivers and it is surrounded by very dangerous area. The rooms have no phones and you need to walk all the way down if you had any issues. The service was uneven - they catered to certain guests with free drinks and not to others. The water pressure in the bathroom is not the best. The breakfast was very mediocre. I would not stay there again.
The staff were really friendly and happy to help whenever they were asked.
Would of prefers to have a menu with choice at breakfast because eating the same thing daily became a chore.
Vincent is a terrific host and staff were equally generous and hospitable. Room exceeded all expectations and lovely roof terrace to enjoy an evening drink. Good wifi too.
A constructive comment in that the hot water is very very hot and could lead to one having an accident.
Water pressure in shower was below average and unpredictable
- Big entrance-space that is a bit private - Nice terrace with pool - Nice breakfast - The personal was really nice and helpfull
- Small rooms - no TV in the room - No Towels, Shower Gel (you had to ask for it) - Very hard to find (we had to ask 3 locals and walk 20 minutes in circles because the small streets had no names) - 20-30 minutes walk to the big square not 10 like in the description. - BEES! Your food during breakfast will be covered with bees! They are harmless but if you don't like having 100 bees on you jam while eating, your out of luck.
This riad is incredibly peaceful: while the Medina can be chaotic, inside the riad there are multiple levels of tucked-away couches and pillows and waterfalls and plants -- just gorgeous. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. In fact, as I was a solo female traveler, one staff member accompanied me all the way into the main square instead of just directing the way -- that went above and beyond the call of duty. I was extremely impressed with this level of service and attention. All the staff were wonderful, but that was beyond!
The Wi-fi was a little iffy in spots -- I had to move around with my computer to access it at times. Thankfully, the riad was so gorgeous and comfortable that I didn't mind, though!
breakfast on the roof terrace the kind stuff
This Riad is just a perfect place to be in Marrakech. Near the Souks and also in walking distance to the place Jamaa el Fna, the location is very centric. The staff (french and moroccan) is very kind and helpful! The Riad is decorated in a lovely way so that you feel like in Thousands and One Nights. The rooms are comfortable and quite big. The patios and the huge roof-deck (where the breakfast is served) are perfect places to escape from the height of the sun. The breakfast is very good and a lot (crepes, bread, cake, fruit, juice, coffee, fresh marmelade). Transport to/from the airport was also very good and punctual. We really enjoyed our stay at Riad de Charme Moullaoud and will definitively come back. Thanks a lot to all the staff that made this holiday memorable.
Elderly man at reception had poor customer service.
the vastness inside, you don't get to know that from the outside. liked the ambiance, very different set up with lots of nooks and crannies
as it was raining, we had to get a little bit wet inorder to reach the room. some kind of smell is observed coming from the drainage, which seemed to be clogged...water flows down very slowly. the driver who is local had difficulty finding the place, wish that there were signages going to or near to the place.
The Complicity and familiarity: The staff made everything possible to make my stay as wonderful as it was. Adventure: I was looking for something real and that is what I found. Lying in the middle of the Medina(old Town)in the cultural center and not far away of the souk was quite an adventure:an unforgettable one. Charme: I will be more than pleased to return there with my husband and show him around. Peaceful place in the heart of the chaotic world outside and around. Nice roof terrass and good restaurant lying not far away. Location : Ideal for solo traveler.
The humidity in one particular room-the breakfast was the same every day (no ham nor cheese) but it is not what you are looking for in this beautiful place-
great location, very efficient staff offer many services
room was on the roof, awoken everyday at 4;45 call to prayer
The localization of the hotel, it was very close to the Zocos and 10 minutes walk of the main square. The staff at the hotel was very kind and helpful, and they offered us the service to pick us and take us to the airport. Also to remark the breakfast for us was very good.
Decor of the riad, design of suite, security
Advertised as having wifi in every room but only wifi in small area and only worked intermittently, only cake to eat for breakfast, would have preferred more options
Great style of the hotel. Beautiful place to stay. We had the junior sweet next to the reception and the pool. Great room although you have to be somehow an earlier bird because it can be a bit loud sometimes in the morning. great roof terrace.
Location is great. Right next to the Koran school, photography museum and also souks not far. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was Ok but would have expected a bit more than just bananas for fruits. Also no cereals.
We booked the suites and they delivered, great style and ambiance. All the communal areas of the riad are lovely with many antiques and unusual water feature and fire places. Breakfast on the roof terrace even in Feb :) the roof terrace is large and well furnished with many places in the shade or for sun bathing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful with the couple of small issues we had were resolved quickly. Good beds and quality bed linen. Location is in a traditional part of the medina which we liked and near many tourist attractions and only about a 10/ 15 mins walk from the famous square. Would recommend this riad to anyone but choose to pay for the delux rooms if you can.
Booking room specifically with fire places only to be told we could not use them, especially as web pictures show them in use. Suites did not have hair dryers as description but this was resolved the following day.
