Authentic friendly Riad. Staff were excellent. Very close to the Jaama el fna. Rooms clean and comfy, excellent value for money. eat here although the food smelt amazing!
Comfortable and clean, very well located. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, always willing to provide all the kind of information you need.
Calm oasis from busy city. 10 min walk at most to Jemaa el Fna, the center of the old city. Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely staff. Excellent food. Great hamman and massage in Riad. Comfy beds. Alley to Riad quiet but lit and did not feel it was a problem. Door manned 24 hours.
Aircon kept going off due to fuse problem although staff quick to act and reset it wasn't always practical to get them in middle of night. Not much choice of drinks eg teas, coffees, water and wine only in Riad.
Beautiful and relaxing riad Excellent hammam and massage experience Friendly and helpful staff Great location
Lukewarm breakfast coffee
Everything except wi-fi
The air-conditioning unit The bed (it was massive and very comfortable) The rest of the room/bathroom was great The staff were very helpful and friendly Breakfast and the dinner were fantastic The shower gel/shampoo smells lovely and is refreshing after a day in Marrakesh
The staff kindly booked an external (government-approved) English-speaking guide, who was nice, but after an interesting start through the Marrakesh museum and the old 'university', we were just taken to the guide's 'favourite' stalls for ~2 hours. This was OK until we were introduced to a carpet seller who proceeded to show us ~20 carpets that we had no intention of buying, which was pretty awkward. My point: the Riad Diana is wonderful, but if you book a tour maybe ask for one that doesn't involve the souks.
Great location, very helpful staff. An excellent traditional riad. The best room is the on on the rooftop (has little red curtains by the bed on the pictures) as it has direct access to the terrace and as it wasn't busy when we were staying we had the whole place to ourselves (the place is small so it really never gets busy). Would definitely recommend of you were planning to stay in Marrakech for a couple of days (if staying for a week would really miss a pool). Great choice for a city break.
No pool, a little pond but it's in the sitting area so felt awkward using it. But it's normal for all the traditional places so unless you want to stay in a big hotel you won't find a riad with a large pool.
The Riad is well placed for access to old Marrakech. I stayed in the top terrace room which was clean & comfortable with a raised bed. The staff are welcoming & friendly and breakfasts are typically Moroccan with breads, pastries & yoghurt.
Nothing of note
Great value for money,we stayed in the top room with the terrace, it was lovely to sit out in the evenings. Staff were very polite and very helpful.Great location, easy to find various landmarks.Breakfast was great as well, would return.
The place was fantastic. Located on a quiet little street close to everything: the palaces, square, mosque, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful but still polite and respectful. A wonderful sanctuary in the heart of the Medina
The wifi was not reliable.
Great location very close to the Jemaa el-Fna. The people on the riad are very friendly and helpful. I sincerely recommend it.
Very beautiful and peaceful riad with very nice staff. Great location and in a nicer area of the medina of Marrakech.
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Riad Diana and would highly recommend this Riad. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect - on a quiet street but close to the main square. Our room was large and comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. The plunge pool and sun terrace are great places to relax after a busy day walking around the medina. We would recommend having an evening meal here as the food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. We would definitely return to this Riad and would recommend to anyone.
excellent base for the old part of the town, and very friendly, welcoming staff.
We couldn't have found a better place to stay. Very convenient location. A beautiful room. We stayed in the top room with a terrace and the views were amazing. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite. They helped organise a day trip for us and the day we checked out they allowed us to come back after check out to use the shower before our flight left. The facilities were also top notch. We met another couple who had paid more and didn't have a indoor plunge pool or a Hammam as is the Riad Diana. The breakfast was also great and there are staff at reception 24hrs a day so if you want to leave your key and head out late to try to find the elusive bars in Marrakech it's no problem. Overall 11/10 and I couldn't believe how cheap it was compared to other lesser hotels. If you think it seems too cheap and there must be a catch don't worry there isn't.
Superb location! Quiet in an alley but within 100m you are in colourful shoppingstreet that leads to the mainsquare . All staff are extremely Friendly and helpfull. We had a Lovely cozy Room on the roofterrace, very Private, and quiet. will definetely return! Good WiFi also!
We chose Riad Diana due to the brilliant reviews we had read and we were not disappointed! I could not fault this Riad...it is in a great location.. really close to the main square/souks and other popular attractions. Staff were so friendly and always on hand to help us with any questions etc. We had the terrace room and were really happy with it and didn't find it too small even though we stayed for 1 week. I would definitely recommend this Riad for couples/families/friends.. it would suit anyone.
Boujemaa (Abu Jumah), Badr, Fatimah and all of the rest of the staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. They were also excellent with our two young kids.
The Riad is very nice! Central location so you can walk easily around, nice staff, very good breakfast (crepes marocains, bread, marmalade, tea, coffee, juice, cake, banana), very comfortable room with couch and big bathroom! Very recommendable!
W-LAN does not work on all floors/ rooms
This Riad is small, tucked away in one of the many alleyways of Marrakech. Excellent location, kindest of staff, excellent food. We spent 10 days in Morocco The evening meals here were one of the best we had during our whole stay in Morocco. Loved it.
Very friendly staff. Excellent located near the big square! We had a very pleasant stay!
Decor, Location, Roof Terrace, Atmosphere
Everything was about our stay was great. Nothing is too much for the Manager and the staff are very friendly. The location is in the Centre of everything so getting about is not an issue.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, without being pushy. Thay gve us good advice about where to eat. The location was perfect and the atmosphere serene within the hotel. The breakfast was more than adequate and was different every day. I would recommend the Riad Diana to anyone and am going to return with my children.
Very friendly staff, great location, beautiful traditional Riad.
