Its a very beautyful and peaceful place. The host and the staff are exceptionally friendly.
Location and friendly conversations with the hosts.
Kind and welcoming staff. The place was amazingly quiet! The rooms had that Marrakech charm. The breakfast on a terrace was great... pancakes, eggs, jams, bread, tea, juice. A really wonderful way to start the day.
Generally nothing bad.
The location, the friendly staff, the breakfasts, the rooms - basically everything.
Both bedroom and diningroom (especially) felt cold. The bedroom was heated by a small plug-in radiator only whilst the dining room was unheated and had a constantly partly open door.
Very friendly management and staff -welcoming and helpful. Clean, spacious room with nice en suite bathroom. Lovely traditional house. Delicious, well -presented breakfast.
Cold at night in December but there were extra blankets.
Rose petals on the bed.
WiFi a shade slow in our room, that's it!
Staggeringly good value for money, very friendly & helpful staff, perfect location, lovely room
room on ground floor is tight, spare daylights as opening windows (with no glass) would have ment to led in the winter cold.
Wonderful riad, oriental without kitsch, cosy, qiet, wonderful surroundings, great terrace, excellent breakfast
There was no TV in the room
The perfect location and very stylish traditional interior. Really nice place.
Room (near the street) on the ground floor lacks privacy and subject to street noise.
Great location near the square and other sites. Availability of a pick up service from the airport was godsent as it will be very difficult to locate the Riad Eden at night.
Incredible stay at the nicest, cleanest, beautiful riad. The staff is amazing, it was perfect.
None to report.
The room we stayed in, (I think the Red), was great, with a great en-suite too. Very close to all the action in Marrakech, so you can nip in and out all the time. The staff working there are extremely pleasant and welcoming. All advice taken from them was excellent. The Riad offers an airport transfer service. I highly recommend this, especially if your flight times are at really awkward times and also if you don't want be left at the mercy of the airport taxi drivers.
Myself and my husband have just stayed 3 nights in riad eden. We wished it was longer. Each morning the breakfast was fabulous. My hubby was very impressed with the hot milk. We stayed in the brown room . Beautiful decor!!! The riad is slap bang in the old marrakesh. 10 min walk from the large souk square. I would 100% recommend it . Sana & Jerome were so helpful with tips on what to do during our stay. We had dinner in the riad too which was delish. If you are looking for a true feel of marrakech life then you cant go wrong with riad eden. I would go back in a shot. Loved it.
no mattress on terrance for big bed sted. You cannot ket yourself in, makes you feel like you are being checked up on when you return at night. One room is on ground floor and very noisey in morning and when people are banging on door to be let in late at night. Hard to find when you first arrive.
decor traditional feel breakfast was excellent terrace
the room was too small and clostophobic Air conditioning gave out hot/warm air and left us with sleepless night We were charged for extra bed which we did not order and had to make an international call to the owner to request not to be charged. Finally he consented. But the staff could not decide and made us wait really long until a decision was made. Breakfast was ok Staff could not understand English so we had difficulty communicating and requesting basic needs
the Orange colour in the room and the décor the argan shampoo and soap
We had the cheap room downstairs, which had no aircon. Therefore, it was boiling hot and hard to find sleep. People were smoking downstairs as well, and you could smell the smoke in the room, not very comfortable.
Nice and friendly stuff. Breakfast is great. It's located right in the Medina, only a short walk to Jemaa El Fna.
to stay there for only 4 days... :-(
4days spent in this Ryad during the 2nd week of july Very nice Ryad in a quiet part of the medina, 10min from the central place. Nice French-Maroccan owners, present on site during the day, very welcoming and helpful. house extends over three floors with a large patio and comfy common places. great breakfast for a good start of the day
Riad Eden was exactly what it looked like on their website, a beautiful and charming haven in the Marakech medina. The breakfasts were excellent, the staff were very helpful and our rooms were well serviced each day. Weloved our time at Riad Eden and were a little sad to leave.
It's a small riad, which is not really negative, just a fact. There is no plunge pool or hammam.
The owner, Jerome, was very responsive by email prior to our arrival. He helped us plan our visit, including our trip to the desert after our stay at his riad. He and his staff were very friendly and made this riad a great choice. Jerome gave us great recommendations for dining, drinks, and a fantastic hammam. The location was perfect: inside the Medina, walkable to everything, but off of the main streets, so it was quieter and more peaceful. We stayed in the chocolate room, which has a private balcony where we ate breakfast each morning.
Breakfast didn't (officially) start til 8, which was a little late when we were out and about early for excursions etc.
Everything was brilliant. Warm, welcoming staff, amazing decor, a beautiful rooftop. Very accommodating and homely, amazing value.
The doors in the room were noisy, light in the shower is faint, the local Cockerel wakes you up at 5.00am
The owners Jerome and Sana are great ! very hospitable and extremely helpful!! good location, good service and good breakfast. Enjoyable stay.
Location, food, staff, room; what was there not to like :) Would recommend this Riad, made to feel welcome, basically a home from home. <3
Excellent Riad, great location 5 min walk form Jemma El Fna in a very quiet and secure neighborhood, is very clean and beautiful Riad. I had a wonderful home made dinner (Cuscus). The owner and the staff are very polite and very helpful in every doubts that arise about Marrakesh and Morocco. I will without doubts recommend this Riad to my friends that visit this great city.
The only negative was that the wifi signal wasn't great in the room, kept dropping off when you moved away from the door. But it didn't matter as there wasn't much need for wifi in such an exciting city.
Staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location was brilliant and a very easy walk into the centre of Marrakech.
it was hot in the room, the air con was too noisy to be on at night.
