The riad enjoys an exclusive location in the Medina of Marrakesh, in the privileged district of Bab Doukkala, just minutes from the famous Jemaa el Fna Square and of the souks (markets).

The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help us get the most from our brief stay. The breakfasts were beautiful and the freshly prepared evening meals equally so.
The Wi Fi strength in our room was quite weak and dropped out numerous times.
Great staff, they even helped me to find the other riad Wifi Breakfast Swiming pool and nice dinning room
Location, but all riads in Marrakech are quite dificult to locate.
Staff, fantastic, I cannot praise them enough. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful especially the two Simo's, Momenn and Amen. First time to Marrakesh, the Riad was so peaceful, calm and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. The Riad décor and palette is very beautiful. Where the Riad is situated you do get to see the real Marrakesh, and the ordinary people going about their daily lives. Everyone was very friendly and as two middle aged women we did not feel afraid or wary at any time. We will be back.
Taxi's cannot get down the lanes to the Riad, so you have a 5 to 7 minute walk through lots of little alleyways. It is very easy to get lost. The staff brought us out and showed us the way and by the second day it was not an issue.
Service with a constant smile Helpfulness of all the staff - nothing was too much trouble Rose petals in the bedroom when we arrived on honeymoon Very characterful building - 18th century, shabby chic and charming Freshly prepared food Very peaceful (apart from the Call to Prayer from the nearby mosque at dawn but that was part of the experience!)
It won't be a problem 99% of the year but it was cold in Marrakesh when we went (in December), and there wasn't quite enough hot water for the bath or quite enough energy from the heaters in the bedroom
Lovely warm fire, good food, attentive staff, good room with views across Marrakech. Would go back again.
Nightmare to find coming back from the main square - got lost every time (even a taxi driver could not find it)!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had a brilliant time. Everything was just right and the staff were so helpful and caring.
My favorite thing was the view from the roof you could watch sunrise and sunset from it. Magical.
The room was a lil cold in the winter even tho they have a heater.
- very kind and helpful staff - breakfast on the roof - beautiful decorated Riad
The staff here were the nicest people we met in Marrakesh. They catered to our every need and helped us navigate a daunting city. We stayed at the Four Seasons for three days and decided to get a real Moroccan experience with a riad. We got lucky with this place. The Riad itself was gorgeous, very clean, and the rooms were beautiful.
It was about a 20 min walk to main square which doesn't seem like a lot but having a run the gauntlet of people asking for money every time we got lost(which was often and impossible to avoid) was a bit annoying after a while.
Staff was super polite and really helpful. We were surprise by the size and quality of the room. And almost everything was impressive.
the terrace, the room was huge and nicely decorated, breakfast was good.
Location is difficult to find and maps does not give correct location. very far from center of Medina with very few tourists around. Did not feel unsafe but not a convinient location.
From the moment we arrived we felt so special. The staff couldn't do enough to help. The rhiad itself was beautiful and had dinner the first night which was beautiful. Breakfast was morrican cakes pastries, fruit, yogurts, coffe and fresh orange. The rhiad was down some winding allies but we called when we were near and one of the staff would come and meet us from the taxi (they would also light our fire in our room) fantastic service, can't praise them enough! I am returning in March I loved it so much. Thank you Rhiad Edward!
The staff were absolutely amazing, they made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back and fully recommend.
Nothing! We had a truly amazing time.
The staff could not do enough for you. All very nice . We had 3 rooms all very different all very nice , breakfast lovely
the visual aspect of the place was really outstanding; our room was big, decorated with attention to detail and even equipped with a small library; the staff was funny and caring; the place is perfect for a romantic stay!
the place is rather hard to find -- google maps seem not helpful; the price at the end turned out to be higher than at booking.com (I think the staff recalculated it twice: first MAD to EUR and then EUR to MAD) -- but I am sure that if we had more time for checking-out, the issue would have been clarified
A charming riad a little far from the center of the medina, but in a very pleasant neighbourhood. Fantastic service. Splendic roof terrace.
Rather expensive compared to other riads,
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Riad Edward is full of beautiful artefacts and decorative touches and is a haven of calm. The central courtyard, various terraces and salons are all beautiful and comfortable. The Hammam and massage are recommended after a hectic day in the chaotic and fascinating souks and streets of Marrakech.
I am travelling around the world all the time - this was my first time to Marrakesh .Didn't really know what to expect. We all were very pleasantly surprised - especially from the Riad. Friendly, competent staff. Stunningly restored Riad - always cleaning people around. The accommodation great. As you can tell - it left an impression with us. Anytime again
Really sweet and friendly staff eager to help and with great English. The plunge pool is a great refreshing cool off from the craziness outside. Nice change to have a riad serving alcohol to guests. The door to door airport transfer they offered for €15. Lovely welcome with mint tea and biscuits. Fresh roses in the bedroom and petals on the bed :)
They make you feel very welcome and are happy to assist you with anything you need to arrange. Very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast on the roof terrace, Candlelit dinner by the pool Free wifi in the Riad Straight walk along Rue Bab Taghzout takes you to the souks and centre of the Medina Very helpful staff
Limited availability of wine
Very nice service by Hamil – Thanks!
The whole experience of staying in a Riad, the quietness , relaxed atmosphere .all the staff very friendly and attentive. The rooms beautifully cleaned, arranged with flowers/ fruit and bottled water each day.
Very happy holiday at Riad Edward. Beautiful Riad with lovely friendly staff, who were always happy to help. Very relaxing place to stay. Food was good. Would definitely return.
No complaints at all!
All the staff were very polite and helpful, we were treated to mint tea and pastries when we arrived after our long journey so we could relax before checking in which set the tone for our whole stay. We dined at Riad Edward several nights and each meal was presented beautifully and was delicious. The Riad itself was airy and light, furnished very tastefully and artistically giving a relaxed feel without it being overly restored. Our room had a wonderful high ceiling, beautiful doors and good quality linen. It was also very peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend a stay here.
