when we stepped inside the doors of this place it was total quiet, cool and serene. A virtual oasis in a crowded, busy environment. Really close to everything in the medinna, but totally safe and quiet
there was nothing here we did not like
This riad is a calm oasis in the midst of the Medina. Staff were extremely helpful, letting us use the fridge to store cold drinks etc. room comfy. Breakfast adequate.
Cosy, very friendly, safe and relaxing riad in the middle of the life of the Marrakshi's. Just one door is in between. Very nice appartment. We felt at home and we can recommend this place to everyone.
breakfast was OK, but we love a bit more diversity.
Peaceful atmosphere, comfortable atmosphere and nice breakfast.
Crazy street outside and not many choices for food nearby. Need to book ahead to arrange dinner at the Riad or eat out in main square about 15 mins walk away. Walking back in dark a bit scary. But we had no trouble.
Great location close enough to the Souks and main square but far enough so it's not so busy right outside. Amazing staff! They were all super friendly and accommodating. Good wifi connection.
Small and intimate place, family-like atmosphere. Kind and helpful staff, very kind and smiling maids - Situation great in the Medina yet close to the more modern part of town and easy and cheap to reach by taxi.
Not very much light, espescially in the bathrooms. Impossible to shave!! - The fittings in the shower loose and broken. The maids understood no Frensh or English - a disadvantage when you want to eat in and order your dinner..
The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us welcome. yassine especially looked after us all and nothing was too much trouble. Lovey place to stay
The riad was a lovely peaceful oasis near the edge of the medina. Yassine the host was fantastic, pleasant and friendly with a great sense of humour. He had good local knowledge and organised some wonderful trips for us including an amazing one to the desert. The other staff were also great and we had a couple of lovely meals in the riad. Had a great time marrakesh is a mad but fascinating city.
the staff were the only thing that was nice.
the beds were uncomfy, shower didnt work, toilet had no door, it was far from the medina
Staff were really friendly and he mint tea made by yasine was tasty the 2 women working there were really helpfull and friendly all In all had a perfect stay
The sanctuary it provides from the manic streets outside is amazing. The staff are relaxed and accommodating.
The lack of a cold beer in the sanctuary after a hard day but I respect the cultural reasons behind that.
Great place to stay, very friendly and calming, a real retreat away from the hustle bustle of Beautiful Marrakech. Made to feel very welcome, would highly recommend this RIAD.
Nothing I didn't like!
The manager of the riad was welcoming as soon as we arrived, offering us mint tea and conversation (even though he seemed tired-as we had arrived quite late at night). When we declined the mint tea he graciously offered up an apple and we sat around the table discussing sites that we could see the following day- and most importantly how to get to them! Marrakesh is a complex and intense city for first timers and it helps to have a local tell you the do's and don'ts! The riad itself is beautiful, with its internal courtyard which opens out onto the sky. We stayed in the Saliha Double Room which was great- large bed and sofa as well as central air conditioning provided! We had a nice time laughing and joking with Yassine and we appreciated that he did not try to sell/con us into buying some sort of desert package deal (as we had previously experienced). Thanks for the great service and laughs- wish we could have stayed longer!
Friendly staff who waited up to the early hours of the morning with a reassuring smile to greet us. Very good value for money. Outside the front door is the real Marrakech.
Dont expect 5* luxury hotel ( we didn't but even so it was a bit challenging ) and the bedding could have been better
Staff was wonderful and helpful at all times; warm and welcoming. The property itself is beautiful and perfectly located. Breakfast was delicious--as was the mint tea. Just a wonderful place to vacation.
Room on first floor was a little loud when people were in the courtyard.
Location, friendly staff and rooms.
Noise the last night (hosts arriving at 23, shouting and laughing without caring about others sleeping and... trying to have a child sleeping as well). The swimming pool is not very clean and it is barely used as such (it is more for the setting and, in that sense, it looks gorgeous).
Breakfast, staff and roof terrace
Not enough privacy - staff sleeping right outside our room
Helpful and friendly staff in a good location, within close walking distance of the medina. Lots of space
Good location, within the medina and only a short walk to Place Jamaa el Fna. The free breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were just lovely. Lots of space in the double room.
It was a little cold in my room, and there was no heating so I had to spend all of my time in bed to keep warm. There was no plug for the bath or sink.
Great place to enjoy Marrakech in a typical guesthouse. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not a 5star-hotel, but the best you can get for a good price.
Lovely Riad in great location, very helpful staff, fabulous roof terrace, a little haven in busy city! Lovely big family suite
No door on bathroom!
The riad is traditional and is charming
- riad is far from the main place (20min from walking distance) and is not located in a good place (no touristic at all); -by night it can be dangerous to get to the main place as one has to cross the souk streets, which are empty, without any litght etc; - the owner is not very convinient; - the tour proposed by the riad are very expensive. Furthermore, when we book the tour via the riad, we left at 8am and the riad doesn't want to prepare 15min ealier any breakfast. If I come back to Marrackech, I wont stay in this Riad!
The best was the atmosphere of the main courtyard and the breakfast.
When we booked the Riad we chose the room we wanted; in our case was the room Califs (with air conditioning, opened to the courtyard, with a nice tadelak douche) cause every room was free in that moment. At our arrival we didn´t get that one but the room Sultana, completly dark, ventilating thgough another room, with damp chips in the bathroom. We ask the guy to change the room but he said everyone was occupied. The location is not the best.
