We've stayed at Riad for 8 nights and it was amazing! It is the most coziest and loveliest place in all Marrakesh, perfect hide-out from the heat, busy Souks and nagging sellers. The place itself is perfect and furbished in real Moroccan style with tiny details, that makes it so authentic and cozy. The rooms are very comfortable and nice each in it's own style and all are en-suite. All rooms face inner courtyard, which has a small pool - ideal during hot days as the terrace upstairs for some tanning. The breakfast was fabulous with fresh OJ, coffee, cakes, yoghurt and freshly baked pancakes served directly to you, not some boring buffet breakfast. The room we've stayed was downstairs and it didn't disturb as at all, if you need some privacy, just close the doors and curtains. Usually Riad is very quiet and feels very homely. The location - very good: 10 minutes to the main square and 10 minutes to the new city and you will want to visit both parts! One of the biggest assets that Riad has is Julien. He is a wonderful host and takes care of everything, whether it is the booking of the excursion, suggestion for a restaurant or other questions. He feels responsible for every guest and thanks to him, we felt like it was our home, not just any hotel...Also, we would really recommend having at least nce a dinner at the Riad. It was really delicious and the price is so much better than in some obscure restaurants in Medina. To sum all up, we would really recommend this place as in the city like Marrakesh - the accommodation makes a big difference, as you need a place to relax from all the bustle. Our big thanks goes to Julien and his team, you are truly wonderful guys and we will visit you again!!!

    We loved everything!

Julien is a wealth of knowledge and he runs an excellent Riad not your standard tourist Riad.

    Nothing to dislike

Julien was more than accommodating for any of my needs! He set up multiple excursions and rides for me with no trouble at all and was always making sure that my stay at the riad was nothing less than perfect. As a young, solo female traveler I felt very safe at the riad.

The shower was a bit small and water leaked out into the bathroom, but it wasn't much of an issue.

Everything! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town but so quiet you could hear a pin drop. The staff were amazing and so very, very helpful. Julien recommended some amazing restaurants around the new and old town, and was so helpful with what to do and where to visit. We didn't want to leave.

    Nothing!

Good position to reach the place and the centre of medina. Room Chocolate not very big, but very typical and comfortable. If you want a characteristic Riad for a few days, this is a good choice.

Breakfast served starting from 8.30 a.m. and if you have to leave before (excursions, airport,..) is quite poor.

This completely renovated original Marrakesh home is a wonderful place to get a full Morrocan experience. It's location on the edge of the Medina, the crowded old city, satisfied my desire to wander in the narrow allyways of this famous area, with little chance of actually getting lost. Once within the heavy studded door the sounds and bustle of the city fell away, replaced by quiet light jazz and the splash of a fountain. The courtyard, open to the sky, lets in light and air, while the thick stone walls hold out the noise and heat. The interior is beautifully and tastefully decorated in an authentic Morrocan fashion, simple and elegant. Julien, proprietor of the house, is the consummate host. He always welcomed us in his perfect English when we entered, asking about our day, constantly ready with advice and suggestions for places to go and things to see. Relaxed and informal, he was concerned with our wealfare and worked to make our stay satisfying. I find it hard to imagine another lodging that could have been anywhere near as satisying.

By design, all the rooms open onto the central courtyard. Noise carries well across the house, requiring some cooperation among guests.

Julian :) Always ready to chat, always ready to help. He made this riad my home in Marrakech. Location: Henna cafe, Maison Arabe and Heritage Spa are just around the corner. Some walk to the square but once you walked the way, it is not difficult to find your way back.

Breakfast starting at 8.30. I would have liked to get up early and start the day. I like morning walks.

This riad is a quiet retreat in noisy Marrakech Medina. The staff are helpful and the bedding is comfortable.

Nothing really, except for the fact that my room, the only room on the ground floor, lacked privacy.

Politeness and willingness to help of manager. Lovely decor and location

While manager and staff had the best of intentions, they often were disorganised and unexperienced to face issues arising effectively. A bit small and at times noisy (due to riad's traditional structure). Breakfast could be improved

The Riad has been restored and maintains it's authenticity, really beautiful, great roof space for sitting on confy sofa's and having an end of day glass of wine, before settig off for dinner at Jeema El Fna. Julien the manager, goes out of his way to ensure that you are welcomed to the Riad, and that have enough information to ensure you make the most of your visit to Marrakesh

We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. The riad is perfectly situated in the medina, close to the main square but ideally located in a quiet local area. Julien is very helpful and accommodating. He arranged last minute out of town excursions and recommended must-sees to make our 2-day stay unforgettable. Every morning we were spoilt with a delicious breakfast and in the evenings devoured Nadia's three course meals and mint tea (Nadia makes the best mint tea!) The rooms are traditionally decorated, comfortable and clean which is exactly what we needed after an overwhelming day of adventures. In the evening the roof top is a beautiful place to wind down and watch the sunset. Extremely good value for money. We have had a taste of Marrakech and cannot wait to come back! You will see us soon ;-)

    We didn't stay long enough!

All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The Riad was in the perfect location and the decor was very fitting. The room (ivoire) was lovely and had everything we could have needed. Julien even supplied me with a hair dryer when asked.

I was initially worried upon arrival at the fact that there was no lock on the door (there is a bolt on the inside to secure the door when you are in the room) HOWEVER I soon realised that only staff members and a maximum of just 8 other guests would be in the Riad and all my belongings were safe. There was even a safe in the cupboard for valuables.

Our stay was fantastic, all of the staff were both friendly and professional. The food is excellent and I would thoroughly recommend eating there in the evening at least once. Julien and the rest of the staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed. 10/10.

We made reservations for 4 nights. Julien, was most helpful host we ever met and he was always prepared to answer questions or just chat and helped us plan 2 Days Zagora trip. Location was add-on. Would be difficult to find first time, so plan to have Pickup facility by Riad. We would love to come back again!

As previous reviews have suggested, the staff were fantastic; so welcoming, friendly and ready to help and advice. The hotel itself was in a great location and beautifully decorated. Absolutely nothing to fault and would definitely stay here again.

Recommend getting a transfer from the airport as with all hotels in the centre, it's hard to initially find.

This riad was really excellent and luxurious! We arrived tired from a camel trekking excursion and Julien was very understanding and postponed the check in process for the next morning. Our room was very clean and nice, the facilities were excellent and it was warm in the room even without the heating turned on! Breakfast was excellent and WiFi worked flawlessly. There was a safe in the room. The location is very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made sure that everything was ok all the time. This riad is an excellent choice for staying in Marrakech. It provides a typical riad experience with a bit of luxury - it is perfect for people who want to stay at a riad but who also want to enjoy a certain standard in their accommodation. We stayed at 4 riads in total during our stay in Morocco, and this riad definitely offered the most comfort!
