Seven of us stayed here and Alan went out of his way to help us. We felt at ease with him being there. Thank you.

Nothing. Hope to return someday!
Excellent location. Clean, comfortable, very peaceful and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Wonderful breakfast. Alain and Mina could not have been kinder or more helpful and we felt at home from the minute we arrived.

It was a little difficult to find it the first time as it is on a tiny side road that is also not marked on google maps. After that it was easy. Don't trust the kids who tell you the streets are closed.
Great place, Alain is a really nice guy and gave us some great tips for places to see in the city. The team is very helpful and we enjoyed lounging in the jacuzzi.

We arrived in Marrakech after a three day tour and our guide called the Riad to organise a transfer for us, but they refused.
Our host Alain was great and very helpful with everything.

We were three couples travelling as a group of friends. Riad Eloise really was an oasis! From the minute you stepped inside from the alley you were in a different world! Few staff spoke english however they all went to every effort to ensure you had a wonderful stay and we had no trouble communicating even though we spoke no French or Arabic. Each room was beautiful with their own colour theme and special touches! The roof top was an amazing place to sit at sunset with a glass of wine and listen to the calls of prayer! Be mindful that a taxi can't reach the door of the Riad however once dropped off you will be able to pay a small amount of money to a local child who will be able to lead you the way, then memorise your steps. I also wouldn't recommend walking to the Riad alone, try and stay with your travel companions. Saftey or comfort was never an issue once inside the front door though so I would definitely recommend Riad Eloise to other travelers!

While in the Medina, it's a bit distant from the centre with a good 20 minute walk to the Jemaa El Fna, and is located down a slightly dingy/dusty dead end alleyway (slightly scary at night until you know where you're going). The furnishings are bright and colourful but a bit gaudy and tacky. No shower curtain, so shower prone to flood (but not a problem with towels on the floor); bedside lamps not working; traditional wooden door frames pretty but have a tendency of banging on your arm as you walk through! The breakfast was served in a downstairs room with no direct natural light and dim electrical light, and when asked whether it could be taken to the terrace we were told no. Breakfast itself was OK but not great - fruit salad with the fruit cut into tiny pieces, pot of yoghurt and Moroccan pancakes (either like flat English crumpets cooked in the microwave, or chewy ones), with bread, coffee in a flask and orange juice. The downstairs pool has no direct sunlight and was slightly chilly; there is a jacuzzi upstairs on the terrace but never becomes warm, only tepid. While there, the debit/credit card machine was not functioning so we had to pay in cash which was a bit inconvenient. Alain and Dorothee were absent, and Mina and Youssef speak limited English (but good French). Be prepared for the call to prayer to wake you at about 0530 (this will happen wherever you are in the Medina - not just in this Riad); earplugs help a bit but not entirely!
Excellent wifi when it worked (broke for the last day or two) - able to Skype/facetime. Nice roof terrace with lovely views of the city and mountains, mixture of shade and sun, comfortable loungers and curtained sitting area and plenty of space. Very polite and keen staff (especially Mina). Good powerful hot shower. Safe provided in the room. Pickup from the airport invaluable. Provided with a map and Moroccan mint tea on arrival. While the call to prayer from the nearby mosque is loud, the muezzin is at least melodic!
