The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. Perfect location, able to walk to many sites.
The personnell was fantastic. They could fix anything from coffee to transfer to the airport. We had dinner at he riad and it was deliciuos. And plenty!!! In all it was a very cosy place. Altough a bit cold (january) on the terrace it was very nice to have breakfast there.
A bit crowded on the terrace when we were having breakfast. But then of course we were 14 persons.
I stayed with a friend in Riad Des Etoiles for 3 nights and have been very very happy of the choice. The personnel is really nice and did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. All was very clean and safe. Price was also good and the location is central. Will come back for sure if I come back to Marrackech in future.
The customer service is excellent. the staff are extremely attentive and personable. The beds are uber comfortable. The food is delicious. The whole ambience of the hotel is fabulous! We can't wait to revisit
Everything, perhaps a little pricy. Super friendly personel!
Hard to find, but the hangaround youngsters in the beginning of the small streets out willing to help to find the riad ( for a small gift of money/sigaret) . Firts you feel a little as you're in a 'strange nabourhoud but they have no bad intentions! From the main street look up ; there are small signs to show you the way.
Excellent service, very friendly and helpfull staff, nice room and beautiful terrace wher we had an delicieus breakfast
Mohamed was the best staff in the world.
No tv in room or radio. So borring.
Excellent staff, always helpfull and friendly, gave good Information, very nice rooms and terrace, very good breakfast
The pool in the middle of the riad provided a nice space to relax, the staff were very attentive and caring. Additionally, we paid for a dinner in the riad on our last night and that was up to a very high standard.
The riad itself is in a net of small streets which are quite intimidating at night, with lots of young men asking to lead your way through them. Also, when we asked to pay by card at departure, we were suspiciously told that the card machine was out of service so we had to hand cash to a taxi driver who took us to the airport and stopped by an ATM on the way. This cost us more in exchange rate and card fees.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our first night they stayed up until 1am serving us dinner as our flight was delayed.
Very beautiful riad - nice architecture, rooms, lanterns, rooftop space, pool (though this is sort of awkwardly located directly in front of reception). Nice calm oasis from the chaos of Marrakech. Pictures do the place justice. Staff vey nice and helpful.
See through curtain instead of door for bathroom. Wifi very spotty. Smoking allowed in courtyard and easily gets into rooms (doors don't close super securely). Location not the best - confusing and crowded alleyways in a non-touristy part. Signs definitely help, but it is also about a 15 to 20 min walk to the main square. No front door key, you have to knock every time. We were worried about being charged all sorts of extras (as is common in Morocco), especially given all prices are in Euros and then converted, but the numbers were accurate at the end. Limited English spoken. Confusion surrounding tour start times, inclusions and prices. We had no idea who the tour was arranged through and were given no details besides start and end times (which ended up being inaccurate). For both the Ourika Valley tour and the Ouarzazate tour we had very limited time at the locations, and spent the majority of the time in the car, often without AC (in August w/ temps around 90-100 F). The drivers/guides did not speak English and always asked for additional tips/entrance fees. The only rest stops were at overpriced restaurants and Argan oil cooperatives.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the roof was definitely worth it.
Everything about our stay in this amazing riad was perfect. The staff were amazing, and couldn't have done more to make our stay a fantastic one. The food when we ate "in" was great, authentic local cuisine cooked in a small kitchen with the aromas wafting through. Breakfast - served on the roof terrace - was filling and tasty. All this for a bargain price, and a short walk into the heart of the souks. In short - pretty much perfect!
When I stayed at Riad les Etoiles, it was during Ramadan. I arrived in the evening, just as it was time for them to break their fast, but rather than be put out or make me wait, they invited me to join them for dinner! Breakfast each day was so tasty and served on the terrace. They met me at my cab near the gate so I could find my way, as it can be difficult to find without help initiall, and helped me get to a cab when I left. They let me use their printer to print my boarding pass and were generally great about everything! I enjoyed my stay and would return and recommend this Riad for sure.
Room was a little musty due to damp interior and, as with many riads, I couldn't get phone service inside (but they were happy to let me use their phone for a call i needed to make!), so pretty great anyway.
Great location, absoultely charming staff, beautiful Riad top to bottom and very very grateful for the pool in the height of Moroccan summer!
The riad itself was very comfortable, clean and well managed. Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The location was also only a short walk from the medina main square. I would thoroughly recommend it.
Very friendly and good staff, classy riad with very nice furniture, excellent value for money. I strongly recommend it!
Location. It's in the medina and it needs 2 min walk in a typical Moroccan neighborhood..but it is very easy to locate it.
The Riad was clean and cosy, within walking distance from Jamaa el Fnaa. In case you order breakfast then it's served on rooftop and in sunny day it's very lovely. I'd defenetely would stay there again if I would go back to Marrakesh.
The host was a great guy, he picked us up after our desert trip, offerde us mint tea every day and was always willing to help. Breakfast was freshly-made and very nice. Also, although the riad is situated in small alleys, the signs they have put up, made it easy to find our way back to the riad after visiting the centre.
