Harder to find than some other riads. About 10 to 15 minuted to the main square, Jmaa el Fna. At the same time it was central enough to make getting taxis ti and from a nightmare. located down a dark alleyway, it can be intimidating after dark. Breakfast was filling but limited - various breads and jams, tea and coffee, fresh orange juice; fruit salad or yoghurt on alternating days And we dont get to choose. No eggs or cereal. Difficulty communicating with staff. Only 1 DVD was in English.
Clean. Extremely comfortable bed. Great value for money -suite was bigger than our flat in London! whirlpool furbished (not heated) tiny hot tub like pool on terrace whIch gets plenty of sun unlike many pools in marakech's riads. great mint tea too! Staff were lovely, accommodating and helpfl. they didn't speak English but we communicated in broken french and signs. An off site staff memeber, Ingrid, is informative and fluent in English. Riad on a whole feels like a safe haven within buzzing marakech wih beautiful interiors, modern decor, and vainglorious scents.

Gas bottle used for the gas heater was empty during the 1st night so freezing cold in the bed/bathroom & for the 2nd night a new gas bottle was provided to make the heater working..The area is dark, no lights in the tiny streets in the night, dirty & no car can get in the area.20min walk to reach the famous Place Jema El efna..We decided to spend the 3rd night in a much more comfortable place. A gas bottle for the heater must be forbidden!!So dangerous nowadays! How can a Belgium landlord run such a Riad?
The lady at the kitchen, very friendly but unfortunately exploited by the riad landlord. She was on her own, cleaning, cooking and serving. Shame on the landlord!

The riad was hard to find, do not trust the inhabitant! They tell you the wrong direction by purpose.
The staff were very friendly and were quite flixible with the breakfast. We had a great time.

Suggestions for improvement: Make sure the hot tub is working and available and it would be helpful if you could accept credit cards. I did not like having to sleep on a plastic mattress protector - a quilted, washable one would have been just as hygienic and far less sweaty.
A lovely bright, airy room with plenty of space. Loved our table on the central balcony outside our room. Breakfast was varied everyday and staff were always helpful. A great location with lots of places close by for eating in the evenings. Close to good museums and the tanneries.

Great personnel. Bood location. Very Nice room. Fabulous food.

The place was under construction and we spent far too much time inhaling paint fumes and listening to hammering. The gas heater also leaked noxious fumes. Nobody should have stayed there at that time, because it's a tiny riad. It's also down a dark alley and one night a disturbing man followed us a bit back to the riad.
Ingrid was very helpful and the staff was very friendly. Beautiful terrace for breakfast.

A few minor suggestions - eg perhaps a few info leaflets, bottled water/fruit in room daily,
Beautiful courtyard and terrace. Excellent breakfast - different each day. Helpful staff. Peaceful. Good location. Very helpful owner who responded to emails very quickly.
