It's a beautiful place in great location. Staff is very nice, professional and helpful. We had chance to meet owner and he's very nice man and he cares about comport of his guest. We had great time there and I'm sure that we'll come back there again. I would like to thank the manager of night shift for his kindness. Malek you're very good person and I know that we're not a first people who say that :-)
This was my first visit to Marrakech and I was made to feel very comfortable by the hotel. I booked my room at 1am and arrived at approx. 10am. they do their routine cleaning around midday which meant my room was not going to be ready until 2pm. this was not a problem as the hotel said I could leave my stuff and although it isn't in a locked room, I felt very safe and comfortable leaving my luggage with the staff in the reception and their were no problems. This Riad is very beautiful with a lot of character, the price is very reasonable and they have daily cleaners that occasionally scatter rose petals around your room, just a nice touch to make your stay more pleasant. I went on an excursion through the hotel which was very fair priced, actually better than a lot of the prices outside of our Riad, and was looked after very well. The staff were always at hand to give us advice about the city and places to visit. I certainly intend to visit again and will stay with Riad et Palais des Princesses. Keep up the good work and the affordable prices!!
it is a very nice place to stay in Marrakesh. Ambiance, location, service - everything was really good. Pleasant team accommodated all our requests: guide, taxi to airport etc. It was nice to meet owner as well. I wish we could spend more time in Morroco
I booked this Riad as birthday trat for my mum, and we were not disappointed, The location, just a 5 minute walk from the main square was perfect. The Riad is tastefully decorated, boasts two beautiful terraces (shame no sun for us though!) and the rooms are a real treat. Will stay again if we go back
No tea or coffee facilities in the room
This Riad was in the middle of the Medina just a 2-3 minute walk from the center square! Great location, facility itself was beautiful, the rooms were very nice and the wifi was great. I wish I had had more time in Merrakech to enjoy the Riad.
The call to prayer in the morning seemed like it was right outside my door. A bit shocking at 5 am - not bad, I just wasn't expecting it to be so loud that early. Once I figured out what was going on, I fell right back to sleep.
We liked everything, the staff was exceptionally wonderful, helpful
The location of the riad is excellent as it's only a few minutes walk from the main square. Would recommend you book the transfer from the airport through the riad, as otherwise it might be a bit awkward to find it on arrival on your own. The driver will take you to the square and then walk with you to the riad. Once you know the initial way it's easy to find. The staff were very pleasant and helpful should you need to ask anything. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of foods (hot & cold). The bedroom was spacious snd spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. There were rose petals scattered on the bed/bath areas which was lovely. I have already recommended the risd to several friends who are planning a trip to Marrakech and I will definitely be booking this next year when I hope to return. 10/10.
I cannot find anything negative to say about my recent stay.
quiet and relaxed interior
Difficult to find as are most Riad in Morocco inside any medina. Will need to ask.
Kind and helpfull staff, cosy room, good location.
Hard bed, small shower.
Great atmosphere, location super central. Bathroom with only a curtain, no door. Cold, because no central heating, but air conditioning system has a heating pump. Great spa services. Nice breakfast.
Too expensive for what it is.
Hotel is picturesque, comfortable and food good. Mint tea excellent.
Vicinity difficult to access, "streets" dirty and a total new experience.
When booking.com I presumed they took payment but after my stay the riad staff informed me they had not received payment and it was only a reservation and payment was not taken, I had no option but to pay again. Later the bank took abother payment which I thought was a mistake and have tried to contact the riad via email but just failed to send. I have not received a refund or an apology so very unhappy with the service I have received- day light robbery! !
A beautiful, clean and quiet riad, where you can sleep like a Prince or Princes. And the breakfast in the morning gives a lot of energy to discover Marrakesh. Bastiaan, Amsterdam
Proximity to the "Main square." Good breakfast (compared to ordinary Riads) Serene interior and atmosphere.
Location is hard to find on foot (the first time) Poorly sign posted as is everything in Morocco. You will probably need to ask. Walk at least 100 metres to get there as road too narrow for taxi. Some will find the steep spiral steps to the higher level rooms a challenge. If infimed, seek advice.
It is very close to the Main Square. The penthouse is amazing. And the room is huge, comfortable, very quiet and clean.
When I came back to Spain I found that the hotel had charged an extra amount of money to my credit card. They finally refound the money after my complaint.
The staff are genuinely helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and the guests' needs are always paramount. Breakfast is very good and the most varied I have ever been offered in Morocco - not just greasy pancakes! The rooms are very well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The terraces are spacious with lots of nooks and crannies. I am very lucky to visit this Riad/palace frequently and have seen the way the staff treat all guests, whatever their issue, they are always very professional and find solutions to suit the guest
Lovely roof garden and tranquil rooms and ambiance. Good breakfast. It was a very enjoyable place to stay.
Air conditioning units were extremely noisy at night and woke me up throughout the nights every night of my stay. Other guests and I let them know of the problem. One of the hotel staff arranged for a technican to attend but unfortunately this did not fully resolve the problem. I was offered an alternative room, but I did not take it. Another guest complained of this problem in another area of the Riad so I suspect moving rooms would not have helped.
We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Palais des Princesses. It's a beautiful palace very well located. Great service and very good breakfast
This riad is very close to Jeema Al Fna Square, where it is very easy to find good restaurants, also with good prices. Recommend the transfer to pick you up at the airport or train station when you arrive, as It may not be easy to find the hotel at first. After that, with the staff explanation you can reach it easily. Everything was very clean, excellent breakfast (not free) and wi-fi (free). The roof top terrace is very cozy. The staff is fenomenal, always read to help you with everthing you need.
For solo travellers the riad may look a little bit boring, as they don't have social activities and in the common areas normally we don't see people around. But despite of this, everything was great.
Visually a very beautiful place, our bedroom was very luxurious. Lovely breakfast
The only down side was that we had very noisy neighbours that kept us awake most of the night, obviously the rooms have windows with no glass that look straight on to the courtyard.
beautiful hotel in the heart of Marrakech, extremly helpful stuff, beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast...after little suggestion our our wish come true :-), also our flight was at 11,30 PM and we asked about possibility of taking shower before flight (check out was at noon) and of course there was absolutely no problem with that. Truly we really recommend this place!!!
Perfectly situated near the square but a quiet location with wonderful roof terraces and an indoor pool. Helpful staff and very good value for money though I am sorry we didn't spoil ourselves with a suite!.
Very comfortable place, Very welcoming with the mint tea and delicious shortbread cookies to greet me. I did not stay long enough to take advantage of the spa amenities. I forgot my tablet computer there and they kept it safe and secure until I could return several days later to pick it up.
It was my first night in Morocco after 2 days of flying and layovers. Got a bit lost looking for this place and needed to pay a "guide" 20mad to get me there. The directions were good but the pictures accompanying them were for finding this place in the daytime. Hard in the dark.
I would say one of the best plases in the city, close to the main square. All the staff are kind and breakfast is excellent.
Beautiful, quit, safe and well kept...
