Really peaceful riad. Great location to the medina and square. I felt immensely safe being a solo traveler. Breakfast was lovely too.
Everything, specially breakfast
Lovely riad tucked away down a couple of narrow alleyways. The riad was very pretty with a few quiet seating areas. Although there were other guests around we felt we had the place to ourselves.
The first night the airconditioning didn't work and the shower did not drain. These little problems were sorted out the following morning.
Good size comfortable bed, clean and comfortable room with good air conditioning. We had a Hammam with full body massage which was great. Staff friendly and attentive.
Staff, location, very quiet.
Location - close to main square. Staff - very helpful with anything we needed. Price - seemed expensive but paying that little extra I believe got us a much better room.
The wifi kept cutting out.
We really loved our room. It was a corner of romantic love with rose petals everywhere. The room was really clean, cosy, comfortable and with many accessories (mini-bar, tv). The breakfast is really good, fresh and various. The position of the riad is great, less than 5 minutes from the Djeema El Fna. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The spa staff is also qualified and professional.
Everything. The position is great, just 5 minutes walking from Jemaa el Fna. The riad is very elegant, clean and comfortable. The rooms are very romantic and cosy. The breakfast is really good, everything very fresh and various (fresh orange juice, fresh dried fruits, sausages, eggs, cheese, fruit, salad, bread, pastry). The staff is very very helpful and nice to you. The spa staff is qualified and well trained.
A beautiful Riad, the host is very nice and helped us a lot. Breakfast was great!
The breakfast was very good; premises clean throughout and the reception area was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful with transport to and from the airport being very efficient. An excellent restaurant was recommended to us and a camel ride expedition was organised with minimal fuss! Overall, an excellent stay!
The mattresses on the two single beds were foam based and uncomfortable.
We have just arrived back after a brilliant 4 nights at the Riad Palais des Princesses, and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and polite, and are available for assistance at anytime, night or day. Their recommendations of places to eat and places to visit were always brilliant and really helped make a wonderful week. I would certainly suggest arranging the airport shuttle service they offer on arrival into Marrakech, as if you haven't been before (like us) you would get lost in seconds down the myriad of alleyways going in every direction, especially in the dark! Once you have arrived you are straight away taken aback by the Riad, it's beautiful open-air courtyard (and very friendly kitten!) as well as a large central fountain. The room itself was just perfect. Rose petals were laid out everywhere for our arrival and the interior was immaculate - complete with large chandeliers and romantic lighting - and absolutely perfect for a couple on holiday. After some advice from the staff we booked trips to both The Palmery (for camel riding) and the Atlas Mountains, and both are well worth doing. The trips are superbly well organised and very cheap (300dh/£20 each for a return trip inc camel riding, and 350dh/£25 each for a stunning trip to the mountains) which are absolutely worth a visit. The buffet breakfast offered each morning was also excellent, offering cereal, croissants/danishes, scrambled eggs/sausages, bread/jam, watermelon and tea, coffee and fresh orange juice. A good range and all very fresh and tasty. Location-wise, the Riad is also no more than 2 minute walk to the main Jemaa el Fna square (once you are familiar with navigating the alleyways) so whilst it is perfectly quiet and peaceful at the Riad, you are so close to the centre of the Medina.
Beautiful! Near by everything and the persons who attend are awesome
An amazing place. One of the best we've stayed at. Really good staff, room was amazing location was excellent.
Breakfast was average. We got charged 50% of the cost of our stay on our card without our approval or knowledge.. this was the only part we had a problem with. The room service mini bar charge was incorrect. Aside from that, it was excellent
I don’t normally write a lengthy review such as this, but I was so impressed with this stunning Riad that I felt compelled to let other travellers know just how first class this Riad is. When planning a trip to Marrakech, give this Riad a go, you won’t be disappointed! Riad Palais des Princesses takes attention to detail very seriously – a 5 star ambience with 3 star pricing! It embodies all that you would want to make your stay “A Home away from Home.” The Management Team – Mohamed (Manager) Malek (Night Manager) Wafa (Assistant to Manager.) They all speak perfect English + their charming and happy team offer assistance night and day. They graciously provide genuine hospitality that Morocco is famous for. I would suggest you take up the offer (reasonably priced) of pick ups from either the Airport or Bus Station in their air conditioned “People Carrier” provided for transfers. It will take the stress out of locating this Riad for the 1st time within the maze of alleyways. Once there you will have no trouble finding your way to the UNESCO main square which is an easy 3-5min. walk away. It’s great fun meandering through a labyrinth of tiny ancient alleys dating as far back as 1,500 yrs. or more. After a day of sightseeing in this great City ( I travelled in hot July) what a joy to step over the threshold into an oasis of calm and tranquillity that is Riad Palais des Princesses. Sinking into the comfy chairs in the Court Yard to be offered Mint Tea, which really does cool you from the inside out! I tried three different rooms during my stay, from a single, double and a double with my own private Terrace. Landscaped beautifully with various plants, sofas, sun loungers and dining facilities. Great for pure relaxation and sun bathing! Keep your ears open for the sound of a tiny songbird that entertains with its own melodic warbling, quite lovely. All the rooms are luxuriously decorated in authentic Moroccan style.
Nothing at all!

We called this hotel our house, staff who works there make you feel like you are at your home! After being out for few hours you feel happy to be back to this fabulous hotel.
We were delighted to be there. The staff were most obliging and always very pleasant. The Riad itself was delightful. I loved all the nooks and crannies. The breakfast was quality and very generous. Had a chance to try out different breads and cakes etc. Loved the Red roses everywhere. The Spa was heaven! One big thank-you to the Staff for their courtesy and helpfulness.Ta
That, because I had not organised all the night stays at the Princesses we had to spend one night in a nearby Riad...made us appreciate our stay at the Riad Princesses even more.
Everything was spectacular and so close to the main square. The staff was helpful and breakfast was good. Excellent WiFi throughout the hotel.
